Lovely small hotel, you feel like you are staying in somebody’s home. Our room was big and had a balcony. Rooms and building are slightly old, but is part of the charm. The breakfast was greek style, fresh all the time and delicious! Location is great, exactly close to city center and many big stations, so travel is easy. Be aware though that it can get pretty loud in the night, being in the center. We loved everything, the staff was so nice and helpful!! Cannot get better for this money in Istanbul!

Rooms and ammenities slightly old, like the bathroom. Also the toilet had a glass door which was…interesting.

The stay at Tom Square Boutique was very good. I stayed at this place for almost 3 weeks. I travel quite a lot and staying at a place for more than a week can get really boring, but this place is not just an ordinary Hotel. Everyone was very friendly, from the Host to the cleaning lady. Hafize, always greeted me in morning with a warm smile, this is how I like to start my day. I have been in different type of Hotels, but this is the only one I felt closest to home. Whenever I had my breakfast I have been looked after very well. She made sure I have everything and I am satisfied with the breakfast. I usually do not leave reviews, , but this one is really something special. Below are some of the positive things at this Hotel: - Good Value for Breakfast, Quite Huge. I informed the next day that I want to have less food . ( something that does not happen very often, as I usually eat a lot). They make sure you have a very good breakfast. - There are shops and restaurants nearby. If You like to have Lunch or dinner then I recommend Turkish Kebab restaurant which is one minute walk from the Hotel. There are supermarkets, Pharmacies which is like 3-5 minutes walks. - Attractions nearby, you can go by walk and experience some of the best places in Istanbul. Grand Bazar and so on. - There is a laundry just 7 minutes walk. You can pick your clothes on same day, and the price is good too. - As mentioned above , Hafize !., she definately is one of the best person I met in a hotel, and reason I liked the stay a lot. A very friendly person with a very warm smile. Every single day, for 3 weeks. Havent seen a person with so much energy and positivity for a while. If you spend more money, then you may get a better room somewhere else, but not the same service and overall great experience. (I have been in Istanbul before and did exactly that, but I have not felt as good as I felt in this Hotel). I also liked the rest of the Hotel team.

The room was small but cosy and clean. The location was decent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Hafize and Tomurgok! Will definitely be back soon :)

It’s a steep walk up to the bazar

Very cosy, charming and small hotel in a perfect location. Hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops nearby (but the hotel is situated in a little street so it wasn't very noisy) and walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazar, tram and metro stops. Good communication with the owners. I saw negative reviews about not very good wifi on the upper floors but I think they added there another router and wifi works well right now (at least worked very good during my stay).

The place is amazing Every single item in the hotel is handpicked and with the theme. The wooden stairs, the vintage telephones, the velvet chairs, lace pillows, and all make you feel a little royal The people are amazing, and the breakfast is satisfying

This is no way reduces the rating, but it is more of a keep in mind kind of a thing. The wooden floors creak when you walk in the room and you can hear people upstairs walking. The tram station is a 15 minute walk but you are also just 15 minutes away from the heart of istanbul

great room, clean, spacious. bathroom had a sink separated from the shower creating 3 spaces. small nice varanda. small desk with kettle, coffee, tea and water. cute tea cups and spoons. good hair dryer. amenities like soap and shampoo.

neighbourhood, stairs (however nice varanda), you must take off your shoes before coming in (might be traditional from Istambul so ok).

I had a large room of 30 meters overlooking the sea. But in general, for the money, a large room is worth it. but the view from the window can scare away, because there is an abandoned building there - but this is Istanbul, this is in the order of things

the floor creaks a little and sometimes you can hear the neighbors.

The staff are super helpful and almost got immediate attention and response even through WhatsApp. Home kind of service fresh breakfast on order. Airport shuttle service.

Need little bit more comfort and cleanness. Breakfast even fresh but i found little expensive because on same price you can have a breakfast in a 5 star hotel with much more options.

It was a nice looking hotel, they clearly put effort in to present it. It was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in, with slippers given to not walk around in outside shoes. It was only a 10 min walk from the tram and there were many markets to pick up fresh food. Staff were polite and helpful. We did not have breakfast to comment on.

Only issue was the floor boards were really creaky in our room, it was annoying but didn't ruin the stay.

Very cute place. In the old historical part of the city ( near are streets with local shoes fabrics, Christian old churches, local cafes, shops, money exchange). The hotel is small and very comfortable, everything is VERY clean and woody 💛. I had a small room under the roof - it was very romantic for my own trip. The personal was very kind, helped me with local guidance , met me at 2 a.m. and allowed to check out at 1 p.m. It's really comfortable and a good place for rest. No pretence, simple, cute, warm, and calm.
