The service was the best. The staff went beyond and above any expectations. They offer you tea and coffee upon arrival or when you come back after a day of sight seeing. They surprised us with a basket of Turkish delight in our room the evening before our checkout. They were so friendly and made us feel at home. They were knowledgeable and gave us great tips and info about the area. The location is perfect very close to all the landmarks of Faith neighborhood and close to metro and tram stations and also ferry station which makes public transportation easy in the busy Istanbul. Rooms were very clean with all needed amenities. The breakfast was awesome with a lot of variety. Thanks to the wonderful staff who made our stay so pleasant. especially Ahmet and Zarif. I highly recommend this hotel.

There was construction nearby it was noisy at times but the rooms were soundproof and it wasn’t that much of a problem . even though the hotel is located in a quiet street the neighborhood is busy and getting there by car will get you in traffic jam at the rush hour. But this is the same everywhere in Istanbul. train station is a short walk away which is a better way to get to the property during rush hour.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience staying at Livro hotel. They were welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was pleasant!

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the breakfast. It wasn't necessarily bad, but I would've loved to have a few more various options. Luckily though, the location is so convenient, there are plenty of places to eat that are walking distance.

Livro Hotel has a great location. Because it's just 100 meters to tram and metro stations. All historical places, museums, restaurants, shops are around the hotel and distance is just by walking. Even we didn't use any transportation or taxi during our holiday. We've just walked everywhere from hotel. Rooms are more bigger than standard sizes. Housekeeping cleaned my room everyday during my stay there. And who works in the reception, were very kind and helpful. They are trying to assist you for all your requests and questions. Highly recommended!

All personnel from reception to room maid were very helpful. A special appreciation to the excellent and very diverse breakfast! Very good location, close to train/metro station, bus station and boat tours, all in walking distance 10-15 minutes.

The breakfast was excellent. The location is exceptional. The best experience was with the staff. Very kind and caring. They made sure we felt at home.

Well beyond expectation. Close to tram/metro/rail (3-7min). Exceptional service. Charming staff members. Requests promptly fulfilled. Nice intro to the area upon arrival. Questions during stay answered in detail. Receptionists very accessible by phone and in-person. Hotel new and spotless. Nice wooden fixtures and shiny bathroom facilities. Large soundproof windows.

No major issues. While being very close to tram/metro/rail (3-7min walk), the streets are quite steep if travelled with baggages. No bottled water for the first day but later found out they should've provided them. Basic items including shoehorn not already in the room, had to ask.

1) great location - walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. there is also a train station close to hotel if visit Asia side. Super convenient. There is also supermarket and great restaurants nearby. (eg. the best cag kabab is only 5min walk) 2) Super friendly staff - literally everyone. Always greet us when we come back. Whenever we need any support, they are always there to help. Really feel welcomed. They also go extra miles to delight us (eg Turish delight as gift). 3) Hotel room - the room itself is spacious, clean, modern and quiet. Slept really well. All in all, this is one of the best hotel experience we had (we had traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels). The personal touch really makes a difference and made our trip a great memory. And I want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff!

The location is excellent - in the centre and a short walk to the tram terminus at the harbor and the Grand Bazaar. It is also just an average walk to the central attractions of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The staff were very friendly and helpful and this always makes a difference. The rooms have a modern and comfortable fitout and the bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast options are relatively limited but fine. This is normal for a relatively small boutique hotel. The street or lane that the hotel is on has access that is limited at certain times. This is a positive for noise and traffic but on my arrival the taxi was not able to drive to the door. You then rely on the driver to assist you to get bags to the door. Access was available when I left and the taxi parked right out side, making things easier. This is simply a small price to accept for the central location and pleasant walking laneway at some times.

Great location, walking distance to historic sights in Sultanamet, Eminonu ferry, metro and bus transit, but very quiet at night. Remarkably, it was not full when we arrived so they were kind enough to upgrade us to a superior double. The room was very clean, with a large comfortable bed (a true king). Great amenities in the room and bathroom (very powerful bidet, haha), great storage space in wall cabinets, delicious and generous breakfast on the terrace served by the person who raised and prepared the food, helpful and friendly staff, strong WIFI throughout.
