The hotel location was excellent : in the city center, close to both the metro and the tram station. The staff were very friendly and supportive, they would always check on us and provide us with all the help we needed. The place was pretty clean, and I also liked the vintage setting of the hotel. The manager upgraded the room which was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was also quite good as well.

Nothing major, the hotel was pretty good and I liked it. Only one thing that I'd like to draw other people's attention to is that there is no elevator so it might be something worth considering if you are traveling with an elderly person.

The location was excellent as it is near public transport and tourist attractions. The staff there were very very helpful. Our personal thanks to Azkar, Esra and Dafi. They gave a lot of useful pointers and tips. The breakfast was good. Our room was always kept clean, bed tidied and fresh towels everyday. Muzafar the owner of the hotel was also helpful and nice. He helped arrange our Bosphorous night dinner cruise and our transportation back to IST Hotel. Good job Sirkeci Gar Hotel!!

Nothing. Except the night restaurant down just outside the hotel was pricy, limited menu and less tasty.

Location is great, 10-15 min walk from Aya Sofia and 5-10 min to different kinds of public transport. Water in the fridge on daily basis, towels and one-time slippers also changed every day. It was clean though not luxurious. But for such type of hotels in the center of Istanbul it is ok. Breakfast was ok, it is not diverse but enough to start your day with.

It is not "do not like" but more a useful info: -The great location has its price and it is the constant noise. I guess it is valid for all rooms, but our was looking at the tram line and the cars' beeping plus the tram's one were a constant. -If you are with a car, you do not have where to park, even just to unload, so I recommend to leave your car on the P next to Sirkegi station and check in after. That is exactly the parking, the hotel refers to as "available" -There is a mold in the room, they tried to solve this by putting some glamorous suspended ceiling but not quite successful. Having in mind the moisture in the air, I guess it is a ongoing battle.

clean, location, most of the staff were very nice.

breakfast, fridge not working properly and weird smell coming from bathroom. Muzzafer was very nice and friendly and accommodated us by giving us a complimentary breakfast when we arrived early. The stay was overall very pleasant but we were let down by one of the staff members on the day we were supposed to leave. They promised to book us a taxi to our other hotel, when me and wife three small children and 8 pieces of luggage were in the lobby, after waiting for some time I approached this staff member who said they would book the taxi for us but he denied any knowledge of this and said the taxi is not coming!! I had to book one through booking.com which took 2 hours to arrive, not happy, left a bitter taste for an otherwise decent stay.

The staff was great starting with the Manager, breakfast staff, receptionists, they were all very helpfull and kinds. The personal is very friendly and profesional and the hotel has a very good location. Many thanks also to Ozgur the Manager of the restaurant next to the hotel. He was very kind and he offer us a good conversation and a very good dessert. 🤗🤗🤗

Very good location, and nice and clean. And staff was very helpful. The town is right next to the hotel and u can u go wherever whenever. its very good for what u paid for.

There should be a lift because its very hard when you have children. Should upgrade the breakfast.

The hotel service was super nice!!! I touched my mind because of the service, and the employees are so kind. I felt that I was with my grand family haha. I’m into Turkey a lot since my first impression of them there! Even I needed to leave the hotel early next morning (the time was before breakfast), but they prepared the breakfast for me!!! How nice they are!!! Thank you so much guys. You made my day!!

Very friendly people. They don't speak English that much but always managed to help us.

The room was a bit diy made. One thing is done by someone professional, the other thing is absolutely done by someone with no diy skills but it didn't make our stay any worse. Actually we enjoyed the laugh when we find something odd in the room.
