I recently stayed at Nagehan Hotel Old City during my vacation in Istanbul, and I'm delighted to share my positive experience. Price: The hotel offered fantastic value for the price. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a comfortable and well-equipped room at a rate that didn't break the bank.Staff: The staff at Nagehan Hotel truly made my stay memorable. Central location, foot-access to the markets and public transport, helpful staff, special big thanks to the cleaning lady, who gave useful tips, good breakfast, 7-min walk to Süleymanie Camii, rooms are equipped with fridge and TV

Everything was perfect but one couldn’t use A/C because water from it was leaking directly onto the floor causing minor flood after couple of minutes usage and hence inconvenience given the hot conditions outside

best location, visited from 2nd march till 7th march with 4 children, room was big enough to accommodate 6 people, daily bases cleaning services, soaps, slippers, towels all provided. cafe, take aways dine inn near by plenty and you can eat whatever you like with in budget. istambul university salmania masjid near by just walking distance. phone sim money exchange all just within 5 minutes walk. staff very polite, guy at reception very humble, manager ayat allah is superb. very good listener. ladies working in cafe are good. in all mean staff is well supported. on the top value of money. family with kids should check this out. tram station also walking distance,

Taxi drivers over charging be careful and use uber apps, dont just go with flow like meter reading etc, they will make huge bills.

The reception is very good. As for the breakfast, it is varied. The location is close to all the necessary supplies. The staff is very good and meets the expectations of the customers. Personnel was good, really appreciate the 24/7 reception. Breakfasts were good.

Too noisy. The street is very very noisy. It becomes quiet at 00:00 and noisy at 07:00 again. Also, not very clean, it is visible that the hotel is old. But not a big issue here. Also, door in our room didn’t close without a key.

It was the second time we stayed at Nagehan Hotel, a small hotel situated just minutes away from Suleymaniye Mosque, Beyazid Mosque and Sehzade Mosque, where the green column Orta Noktasi marks the Center of Istanbul. Several faculties of Istanbul University are in the neighborhood, so there are many places to eat in the budget, as well as many traditional cafe's and bistro's. Bus stations Sehzade and Vefa and metro station Vezneciler are just 3-4 minutes away. The rooms are small, but what would you expect from a building in an old town. They have comfortable, large beds and provide a good thermic comfort, as all rooms have A/C. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they have a good English command. Breakfast was various, with lot of salads, beans, scrambled and boiled eggs, nothing fancy but also nothing to complain. Overall, the hotel offers very good services at an excellent quality/price rate.

Rooms are a bit outdated and the sanitary installations must be taken care of.

What we appreciated is the cake, with beverages and flowers for my wife’s birthday. Mr Ayatollah was behind these presents. They also helped in moving our luggages to the taxi that they called for us. Also, in general the hotel stuff was very polite and helpful…Fouad

Bed linen and towels should be replaced by new ones

Great location-10min walk to grand bazaar, 15min to hagia sophia. Reception 24h open, frendly people. Very good rooms for that price, but 3 beds in one room is a bit crowded. Rooms are clean, we have gotten even new towels.

Food is nothing special, little selection. The room was different at the pictures and in the reality than we booked (family room for 5 people). Overall good experience for the money.
