Location, pool and hamam, cleanliness, general ambience

It is advertised, and I booked it because of this….the roof terrasse. It didn’t belong to the hotel, and unless you bought and expensive dinner, you were unable to use the terrasse. This was very misleading. The coffee at breakfast was undrinkable, and on requesting a latte or Cappachino, this was out of a packet.. should be producing good coffee in a hotel like that.

We have absolutely loved our stay in Istanbul (gorgeous city so rich in culture) and felt at home at Neorion hotel! The best is the location of the hotel - you can reach all of the main attractions by foot in short distance, some others easily by tram, the neighbourhood felt safe and we didn't have a slightest issue. The hotel itself is very cozy, the rooms have spacious layout and styled decor. Small touches such as daily refill of bottled water, sweets, etc. made us feel happy. The staff is fantastic! Friendly, welcoming, helpful, professional. Our rooms were perfectly made up every day. Breakfast had a variety of warm dishes and nice pastry, excellent coffee, again all of the staff was outstanding! At the top of the hotel there is a great restaurant (doesn't belong to the hotel but super convenient) and a terasse with an amazing view. Our rooms were located at the 5th floor and were quiet. There is also a spa where you could book a massage or a hammam treatment. Overall, very happy with our stay and we would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Istanbul!

The service, the breakfast and rooms were amazing. The hotel is pretty well location between a lot of interest points. You access public transport as well as museums in just a few steps.

The rooms with windows to the street are kinda noisy. If you have very light sleep, ask for a room that doesn't have street view.

The location of the hotel is in an excellent place to explore both Karadoy and sultan ahmet attractions. The breakfest was great with plenty of choice of hot and cold selections. Drinks included fresh juice and typical local teas and coffees. The room was big enough for the family and the staff gave us a bottle of water everyday. The staff were very freindly and Mustafa was very knowledgeable and gave great advice on how to navigate around the town. There is a restauarant on the top floor with good food and great views

The fridge never worked.

A really great place to stay in Istanbul. We arrived here with my family and everything was awesome for all of us. The rooms are nice; we had a chance to stay in two types of rooms (a Triple room and a standard room) and both were very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are also nice; definitely, you can find something for you and your children. Also, on the 6th floor is a nice restaurant with a really cool view of the city, Bosporus, palaces, and mosques. For my daughter and me, a great addition was the pool and spa zone after long days of walking. Next to a Metro station, the hotel staff suggested a great trick on how to quickly reach the Metro station on the elevator, which is only 50m from the hotel. Google Maps advised us to go to the public station, which was a more generic way and 200-300m away. The hotel staff is a standout theme; they were great, very helpful, polite, and asked us every time if we needed anything. You can ask them thousands of questions. Wi-Fi is great without any problems, which was very important for me as I had to work for a few days. So it's a really great hotel where we would definitely stay again.

I would strongly recommend Neorion due to several reasons: 1. Location - in the heart of the city, very close to all the main sightseeings. 2. Astonishing view on the Bosphorus from the hotel roof terrace. 3. Close to public transport 4. Delicious breakfast (like homemade) 5. Clean and comfortable rooms. But the main benefit of this place is the hotel's team. You feel like the most awaited guest ever. Everyone from the hotel staff is so friendly and supportive that you feel very welcomed all the time. We go the delicious welcome drinks on arrival supported by the best recommendations from Mert - where it's better to go, which time, which transport, the best places to eat, to make shopping etc. All the advice was really very helpful and the food in the recommended places - was just awesome! Unfortunately, we don't know the names of other team members, but I want to thank everyone for our great stay! I'm travelling a lot for business and staying always in the 5 stars hotels, but Nerion has better that only stars, it has BIG HEART! ❤

We really loved the place and will be happy to come back one day

Everithing was perfect: the location of the hotel is perfect :close to everything: attractions, bazaar, subway, tram T1. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable. The spa,pool was nice and clean. The free tea and coffee really good after the bath. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious. The staff was polite and kind, especially Dadash, the receptionist, willingly helped with everything. Thank you. Next time we come, we will definitely choose this hotel again.

It would have been nice if the whirlpool water had been warmer. it was cold to sit in it.

Unbeatable location: walking distance to most of the main historical and architectural highlights of Istanbul. Furthermore it is only a couple of minutes away from the metro, tram stop and the Eminonu pier, from where one can take ferries to any destination in the Bosphor, the Prince's Islands or Golden Horn. The staff is extremely helpful and caring, always kind and polite, and overall very professional. We could simply enjoy the holidays while everything else was taken care of. Many thanks to the entire team of Neorion and special kudos to Dadash! Excellent breakfast and service during breakfast Very nice and cosy spa area and a calming pool with sea water.

The only thing we didn't like in the end was that we had to leave. We would like to be back.

This was our second visit to Istanbul and decided to return to the Nerion hotel .Excellent location within walking distance from the main sights and a few steps from the tram. Amazing service the reason why we decided to return.The hotel pays attention to detail and give a fantastic service.The breakfast is super with plenty of choices.Dadash in reception is so helpful and professional .Staff at breakfast go above and beyond to serve you, excellent service from Mehmet ,Cemal and a young girl whose name I didn’t get. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Neorion is very warm and homely hotel; ideally located within walking distance to most of Istanbul’s land mark tourist sites. Not only that, but the staff are very kind, friendly and welcoming. Mert (the manager) is a gentleman with impeccable qualities. His unrivaled knowledge of Turkish architecture provides guests with unique insights into all the marvels of Istanbul. Mehmet (the kitchen manager) is another staff member with outstanding qualities; full of old World Turkish charm and kindness, he is always around to ensure that you get the best choices of both tasty and healthy food picks at breakfast. Each day offers a different array of Turkish breakfast goodies. In short, with Mert, Mehmet and their wonderful staff you are treated as a special guest in a safe, peaceful and comfortable environment from the very moment you checked in until your departure. Neorion is definitely a hotel that I would have no hesitation in returning for future stays. Again, thanks Mert, Mehmet and your staff for making my stay very pleasant and memorable. I look forward to the next visit.
