-The hotel is very comfortable. - Bigger rooms than similar Hotels in Sultanahmet area. - Very neat and cleann. - Enjoy a Delicious Turkish breakfast served by Professional turkish chefs Muharam and his assistant Mohammed. They welcome you with a big smiles and kindly assist you to enjoy a wonderful start of the day. - Large elevator. Mr. Metin is always has a big smile for you. - The view is breathtaking specially at early morning you can enjoy sunrise over the horizon of the bosphorus sea. If the Hotel provides only that view that would be enough. - A green garden adjacent directly to the Hotel. You can enjoy walking at the morning in fresh air or just cross the Kenedy street to enjoy at the bosphorus shore. - The Hotel is few steps away from Sultanahmet, AyaSofia, Misr bazar and many attractive places in the historical city.

- The Terrace was under renovation, I wish in the next visit it would be ready to enjoy the breakfast in one of the most attractive views in Istanbul.

I stayed for 7 days here with my family. It's a very family friendly place and very close to the main attractions of Sultanahmet district (Aya Sofia, Sultanahmet mosque, Obelisk of Theodosius, Basilica Cistern etc), just 5-7 mins walk. Area and the hotel itself has a very nice and calm ambience as compared to other places in Sultanahmet. The best part of the hotel is definitely their staff, especially people like Nizam who were very helpful in all aspects. The breakfast was also decent, having few change of dishes everyday but nothing too extraordinary of course. Overall I'd say this is probably the best hotel option you can get while staying in Sultanahmet district of Istanbul. I will definitely come back here again whenever I'll stay in Sultanahmet.

Loved the water views from the King Suite and large room size. Pretty peaceful area, a little far however from the tram and main attractions. But the location and sea views kind of made up for it.

The front office supervisor wasn’t really friendly and castigated other staff in front of us. But this didn’t mar our stay, just not much of a welcome. Unexpected after such amazing service at another hotel in Istanbul.

It's a very pleasant and cozy hotel. The staff are the nicest people, without exaggeration: Nizram and everyone at the hotel are extremely friendly and very helpful. The rooms are great; A/C and WiFi work perfectly. There is a water heater in the room, with coffee and tea provided, apart from abundant breakfast options downstairs. More importantly, I think the hotel is in a perfect location for a first-time visitor, for the following reasons: (1) There's a lot to see in Sultanahmet district! The hotel is quite close to all points of interest, but is situated in a uniquely peaceful location: there are parks on both ends of the side street. No traffic around the hotel! It is very quiet here. (2) For trips to Beyoğlu / Galata tower / ferries, etc.: the tram stop (Çemberlitaş) is only 700m away, the Yenikapı metro stop is just a mile away (get the Istanbulkart: it is very convenient!) (3) Great for running or walking along the Marmara sea shore (ask the staff for the shortest path - it is quick!). You can walk all the way to Gülhane Park along the shore and then back to the hotel through the park (or vice versa) All in all, I had an amazing time in Istanbul while staying at the Recital Park Hotel.

Nothing negative to note. Expect to walk uphill along cobble-stone streets a short distance to see the major sights. At first the traffic in some parts of Sultanahmet will confuse you, but you will learn to navigate the streets like a local in one day. If you expect bars and other nightlife, perhaps Beyoğlu is a better choice, but some restaurants around here stay open quite late.

This hotel has an excellent location - just a 10-15 minutes' walk away from all main sights, but at the same time it is located in a very quiet area. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. The hotel personnel did their best to help with any requests I had. The breakfast has a variety to choose from. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which is very important for me. The view from my room was simply stunning. The transfer I booked via the hotel to meet me at the airport and take back was reliable and comfortable. WiFi connection was stable.

I enjoyed my whole stay there, there is nothing I didn't like.

Great location, friendly staff, great wifi, and clean. Beautiful terrace at the top of the hotel. The hotel is only a year old so the vibe is very modern. AC worked great in the room. Also if you have mobility issues or are disabled/traveling with someone disabled this is a great place to be as it has an elevator, is situated on flat ground, and has accommodating staff.

The only complaint I have is that the lockbox in the room did not fit horizontally in the closet, so it was on its side which made putting things inside and getting them out difficult.

Location is great near to best local hotels ,by walk to sultan Ahmet street, little hagia sofia , blue mosque , hagia sofia ,tokapi palace ,gulhan park and spice bazar . Receptionist was very helpful especially Mr nizam and Mr abdulhameed . They even guided us as per our interests

Their breakfast need to be more improved they need to add more Turkish cuisine in the menu . Rest staff of kitchen is excellent very quick and provide us fresh egg fry or omelet daily

If you choose this hotel you can be sure that you'll get welcomed with a big smile by the receptionist and all the staff working there. My mum and I we stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed it. We have had a free upgrade, the bed were comfortable, the room very clean and the view on the park was nice! The breakfast is more like a brunch so you don't even need to have lunch after having it 😅. The area is nice and quiet, in front of a beautiful park and near the sea. The view from the rooftop is just amazing! Many thanks to Nizam, Emir, Muharram (from the kitchen ) and the rest of the staff who made us feel very welcomed!

The location is amazing, main attractions are just a walking distance, so many shops and restaurants around. Staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful, specially Nizam, super helpful and made us feel like home.

There was a couple of problems in the the room, safe lock and telephone was not working, bathroom would get so wet and dangerously slippery after any shower

I appreciated the staff very helpful and kind , nice room and very clean , I liked the area of the hotel as well as the breakfast , I felt safe there as a solo traveler this hotel deserves a 5 star I booked twice in this hôtel and definitely come back again there
