Great hotel! Very cozy and amazing staff. The breakfast was pretty good too with lots of options. The bed is comfy and the AC is clutch in the summer heat.

The distance to the blue mousque and the Hagia Sophia is not that much but Saruhan is at sea level, so going anywhere to where the attractions are you have to climb a whole hill. That is a picky comment but good to know when booking.

the staff was always willing to answer any questions. the breakfast was very good taking into account the cost of the room. The lady at the breakfast was always there willing to serve and sort out any problem. She even made new omellete after breakfast time.

the location is good but it is 10 minutes very steep uphill. For me and my girlfriend this was not an issue as we are well trained runners, but elderly people and non athletic ones should keep this in mind. Also one little detail. their POS did not support contactless transactions, so keep in mind to have with you the physical card. also the sea view rooms have very nice view but keep in mind that these rooms are smaller than the inland view rooms...and the description at booking says otherwise.

A very atmospheric hotel with beautiful design and an absolutely incredible view of the sea. The staff was super kind and always ready to help. Beds are very comfortable, it's also super warm in the winter - you will not get cold. The hotel has an amazing terrace with a stunning view. It’s a wonderful place to have breakfast and also enjoy a cup of tea in the evening – it's quiet and peaceful there. The breakfasts are varied, and there’s always something to choose from. The team responsible for the kitchen and room cleaning is just fantastic! Huge thanks to all the staff – I’ll be happy to recommend this hotel to others.

Located in a very cute neighbourhood, close enough to all the touristic sites (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar etc) yet in a quiet part of the neighbourhood. We had access to nice restaurants near our location and there is a nice park right in front of the hotel. The staff was very kind, receptionist always there to greet us and helped with any questions we had. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was really good, with many choices and with a great view too. We really felt very welcomed in this place, thank you!

Absolutely everything was perfect. A few hours after arrival our room was upgraded to the bigger one without any additional cost - absolutely unheard of in other hotels elsewhere. The room was extremely clean, bed and pillows very comfortable and absolutely amazing breakfasts with a big variety of food to choose from. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful - we felt as a member of their extended family since stepping into that fantastic hotel. Majority of bigger and much more expensive hotels should learn from that little gem how to provide such as excellent service. The location is very handy because all major attractions are within 10 minutes walk. I'll recommend that hotel to absolutely everybody coming to Istanbul.

When looking for accommodation in Istanbul, we decided between accommodation near the main sights or within easy reach of the center. We chose a good accommodation in this hotel. The hotel is not about luxury, but about a friendly atmosphere with a touch of oriental interior, good breakfast, cleanliness of room, comfortable sleep. We had a room on the 3rd floor facing the patio, where it was quiet at night. As a bonus after returning from exploring the city, it was possible to make coffe and tea and enjoy it on the terrace with a view of the Sea of Marmara. I also want to thank the gentlemen at the reception for providing information, arranging trips and telephone communication with the airport.

The location was excellent. Super close to all the highlights of Istanbul (about a 10 minute walk to the main square) but away from the noise. Best Turkish breakfast; one day we decided to eat out for breakfast just to experience a traditional Turkish Breakfast-don't bother because the hotel is actually better. The room was a great size, clean, bed super comfortable and working air conditioner. The rooftop terrace where breakfast is served was also open late at night with water and teas. After a long day we would often pick up some dessert and come back and sit on the terrace enjoying the views (you get fantastic views!) and just relax from a busy day in Istanbul. The staff were super nice and accommodating. The lady chef was so lovely every morning and the front desk clerk was always super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. On our check out date our flight didn't leave until late afternoon and they happily kept our luggage and even allowed us to charge a phone whilst we went out shopping for souvenirs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would in fact stay here again if we came back.

This is my own person "flat pillow campaign". I have a dodgy neck and sleeping on fat fluffy hotel pillows is never for me. This is not the hotels fault, but I am on a mission to educate every hotel I stay in to incorporate flat pillows for guests who have bad necks. Please add flat pillows to your bed linen, to help those of us who end up sleeping on a folded up bed sheet or towel. Otherwise I have absolutely nothing else to complain about.

Great location, amazing service, balcony views face the park directly, breathtaking views. Decor and vibes are impeccable but the greatest thing about this hotel is the breakfast which is just phenomenal. We looked forward to the breakfast every single morning we stayed here, the variety of curious dishes and homemade jams and other traditional things were just mind bogging. Straight up feast for the palate. Kudos to the ablacim who manages the rooftop dining area!

Great location. 10-15 minutes walk to all the major sites in Sultanamet. Hotel is well-maintained, and one of the few boutique hotels in the area that have an elevator which was helpful with luggage. Terrace has a lovely view to the Sea of Marmara, where one can enjoy their elaborate breakfast spreads. Rooms are on the slightly smaller side but that’s with all the boutique hotels in the area, and add to the charm of staying in this historic city. Despite it not being a large room, it felt spacious enough with plenty of lighting and details in the room. Bathrooms and rooms have been renovated so it feels very clean and well-maintained. The concierge is available 24/7 to assist you with anything you may need, including booking us tickets to activities and airport transfer.

Not a dealbreaker for us, but we stayed there for 5 days and the breakfast spread stayed consistent, which can be monotonous. It’s an impressive breakfast that is included in the stay, so can’t complain. It fueled us for the long days.

management: very helpful, attentive, and friendly. check-in was smooth, took care of all our luggage and guided us about nearby attractions. breakfast: very delicious and great variety. I would have liked an omelet but there were boiled and scrambled eggs. It was a nice spread, with lots of dips, and cheese. The lady working there was so sweet and kind. cleanliness: very clean room and bathroom. Little bit small but loved the quaint, little balcony there was also a beautiful little park for kids right in front with a nice fountain and benches for sitting and enjoying the view. I took a taxi from the airport and it was about an hour's ride which is to be expected and cost about 1200 TL.
