I liked the spacious room that was perfect for a family with two small children. I like the hotel staff. The bathroom was clean. Location was walking distance to the sea.

Construction workers right outside our windows and garden door entry. They were building a breakfast area -- meaning the family room will be a noisy room next to the outdoor garden area that will serve the entire hotel's guests. Not ideal if you want some quiet and privacy (re: windows and the door that overlooks the garden). I didn't like a lack of an elevator to the lower floor, which was cumbersome with luggage, a stroller, and two toddlers. I didn't love the breakfast. The servers were kind and hospitable, but the quality of the breakfast itself was pretty low. Nothing wow or special. Also the door that led to the garden let in A LOT of light and our toddlers woke up super early because of that. It needs a curtain!

The Sublime Porte Hotel was in a perfect location, of which you were very quickly in the centre. Even so, the hotel was great and the staff very friendly. When I will come to visit Istanbul again, the Sublime Porte Hotel will be my home

Definitely to say that this is the best hotel I have ever stayed, it was like a dream. They planned and take care of all the things that I need, from the VIP transfer at the airport, to the cruise and the Turkish hamam which by the way I really recommend ;). I want to mention the managers Mr. Berkay and Mr. Emrah they do everything for this hotel and it’s understandable since my staying was besides perfect. Everyday day they are there to solve and help every problem and question that you have. Rooms was big and clean, they cleaned everyday which is good, breakfast, Turkish breakfast, plenty of things in the table and the kindness of their cleaning lady Mrs. Gülşen is very warming. I fall in love with this hotel and will come back soon for sure.

Exceptional Stay at Sublime Porte Hotel! I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! From the ease of booking to the outstanding customer service, everything exceeded my expectations. . Upon arrival at the hotel, I was immediately greeted by the friendly and the attentive Berkay who made me feel welcomed. The check-in process was swift and efficient, which was particularly appreciated after a long day of traveling. The hotel lobby was beautifully designed and exuded an atmosphere of comfort. The room itself was immaculate and well-appointed. It was clear that great attention had been given to detail, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and convenient. What truly set this hotel apart during my stay, however, was the exceptional level of customer service. Berkay and Hakan went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. Whether it was recommending local attractions and restaurants, arranging transportation, or promptly attending to any requests I had, their attentiveness and professionalism were truly commendable.. Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect***. It was conveniently situated near major attractions, Sultanahmet area, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and more, allowing us to easily explore the city without spending too much time on commuting. The location is perfect to enjoy the famous sites in Istanbul. you are only 10 minutes leisurely walk to Ayasofia, Sumtanahmet mosques and Tonkapi palace. five minutes the other way and you can walk by the sea. The location is quiet in the nights and mornings as it is an area for hotels and apartments and is not a thoroughfare and no bars in this area. That said you are only five to ten minutes walk to bars and restaurants as well.

The photos on the website should be updated. This picture indicates a stand alone building but there are new buildings around it so it can be deceiving and hard to find if that is what you are looking for.

The staff was welcoming, 24-hour reception - we arrived at 1am and check in just fine. They were also present at all times and available for help with everything. However, we were asked to leave the 10-point review on booking 3 different times during our 1 night stay in this hotel. Maybe that's why this hotel has a better rating compared to similar properties around the city center. Breakfast was decent, Turkish style.

We arrived at 1am extremely tired from the trip. Went to bed with the AC on, only to find out that the AC makes weird ringing noises every 10 mins. We had no strengths to go to the reception and deal with it, and in the end had to sleep with the AC off in a hot room. Hopefully they fix this before someone else checks into this room. The room also doesn't look like the pictures, but much cheaper, be prepared for it. The cheap price makes up for it though - we stayed for 34 EUR in a double room with breakfast included.

Very friendly and supportive team, helping with transfer, booking of activities etc. and give good recommendations for restaurants. The location is perfect, just around the corner of the major sights. As soon as you past Hagia Sofia and walk the last 5 minutes to the hotel, it gets quieter and you leave the hectic hustle and bustle of the old town behind. A fantastically fragrant huge jasmine grows right in front of the hotel.

The bed for the 3rd Person is a kind of folding lounger and not really comfortable

The staff members were very polite and helpful. Place is close to all attractions. Basic rooms but clean and got fresh towels daily. They offered us paid airport shuttle service, which was great because our flight was early morning. And explained us about the tourist attractions and helped us to book Dinner cruise with Turkish dance night !!

Air conditioner was bit noisy and will be great if windows have curtains. And there are buildings beside hotels and had a little bit trouble finding the place.

Sublime Porte Hotel is a great place to stay. Rooms are spacious, modern, clean and quiet. The location is perfect, some of the biggest landmarks are nearby and it is also 5 minutes from the Bosphorus. The breakfast was delicious and the service was amazing. We received some really nice tips from Emrah, who helped us to plan our trip even with the short time we had, also the boat trip he recommended was really worth. I highly recommend the place and would definitely be back with my family!
