Amazing view from room, great location

Breakfast not various options and staff is very arrogant on the breakfast spot. Staff switching off lights and removing all food and even coffee sharp at 9.25 while still restaurant is full of guests who is still finishing their breakfast. After I made a remark , one of the staff start talking to me in a very rude manner and behaving as a CEO of this hotel. Very unprofessional approach.

For our first trip to Istanbul, the staff at Sultanahmet Palace hotel ensured that we arrived in comfort, and remained that way through the duration of our stay. Myself and my wife both enjoyed our stay in our room, but more importantly the interactions with the each of the staff members and facilities management. They went out of their way to ensure that our needs were immediately met, even going above and beyond to ensure we knew how to navigate the local tram, pointed out sites, and even helped coordinate transportation for when we left the city center to visit Eyupsultan & other sites not within walking distance. The staff maintained a level of cleanliness and decorum that was respectful to the guests, but most importantly, it reflected the reverence the facility held for being in the footprint of the revered Blue Mosque. We were grateful for the ability to stay here, and will book again when we return InshAllah.

These are not NOT LIKES, but things to be aware of: -the AC blows cold, but requires that the room key or similar credit card shaped item is inserted into the slot, which acts a master switch for power to the room and heating/cooling system. -the second floor room bathrooms have a shower head, but also have a basin that fills up with water to bathe yourself in a traditional sense; request extra towels in case the floor gets wet! -If you need an iron/ironing board to press your clothes, you have to request it from the front desk, who immediately coordinate access/use.

The location, comfort and staff behaviour was exceptional. Really enjoyed the stay as travelling to all tourist spots was very easy to go. I would definitely suggest this hotel to my friends and family.

The breakfast was not up to the mark as there were only a couple of basic things kept in the buffet.

The staff were lovely people. Incredibly considerate and kind. Breakfast was delicious in that they offered healthy options; i.e., hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese, brown bread, yogurt.

I was surprised at the bathroom. It was a strange space. The door swung almost into the toilet behind it. You need to take a small step down into the bathing area in order to then close the door, in order to go to the toilet. I felt it was awkward and definitely dangerous for a middle of the night groggy (from sleep meds) bathroom visit.

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to stay in the historical area. Our rooms were beautiful with lovely views. The breakfast was fantastic, the hotel staff very helpful...they helped us get a tour guide for one of our days, and helped us plan other days events. Right across the street is a lovely shopping area, and all of the most famous things to see a short walk away.

There was a strange bowl in the shower that didn't have a drain...not sure what it was for. Maybe to do ablutions before praying, I am not sure. But it didn't affect being able to take a shower that much.

location is a few steps away from Sultan Ahmet Mosque. Our bedroom has it own turkish bath and balcony with partial sea and mosque views. Good garden and sea views from most of the bedrooms. Clean bathrooms in the lobby. The hotel has a its own character. A blend of Roman an Othman style. Spacious lobby, front, side and back gardens, spacious breakfast restaurants with good sea view.

Breakfast was the main reason not to extend my stay. it was below expected. poor and limited selections. Poor English communication makes the staff sound rude “ but they are not”. Weak WiFi connection in the rooms. low bedroom ceiling ” but can be forgotten once you step into the balcony.

Great location at the heart of Sultanahmet which for us was a must. We highly appreciate to be walking distance from various main attractions, including Palace Topkapi, Basilica Cisterna, Hagia Sofia. The room had a good view to Blue mosque and Bosforus. All the Staff was great, and extremely kind and all the time willing to support and pleased us. Shout out to the restaurant team Aiman, Namiq and all others. It’s a fact that you’ll hear the call to pray at different hours, but it’s part of the whole experience in visiting Istanbul. Breakfast was good, buffet with some other options with extra cost. Local turistic police is always monitoring in the main square. The hotel supported with the booking for taxi transfer hotel- airport, with a cost of 60 euros, and all logistics work perfectly well, comfortable vehicle.

I only suggest to replace pillows and towels which look and feel tired.

The balcony view was SUPERB, the location was super stratergic just behind the sultan ahmet mosque and just a mere walking distance to hagia sofia, grand bazaar , and as muslim i can just walk for less than 5 mins to perform my 5 time prayers and special appreciation TQSM to Mr. Seddat the Hotelliar which was really2 friendly and helpful 🧡 btw i went to night bosphorus cruise dinner which was offered by the hotel which cost me only 50 euro but worth a fortune of return transportation, full course bbq dinner, bottomless drink, singing & dancing show, totally amazing! None, everything was just sweet & perfect!

The location is absolutely perfect with a fabulous view of the Blue Mosque and the bosphorous. There was a good selection of foods for breakfast - probably more continental than I would normally have and i would have liked a prepared fruit salad to be available. The staff were always courteous and helpful. Our room was a little small - the bathroom a little tight to move around in. However, we loved the Hotel overall and would definately be returning.

The bathroom was a tad small,

Beds very comfortable. View from windows second to none. Staff excellent, especially in the breakfast room (a dining room manager who isn't white was a brilliant communicator and gave excellent service). Doorman was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast room staff had to eat 'behind the counter, out of sight. Why can't they eat at a table among guests? Cheeses in the breakfast room could be labelled so guests know what they are offered. Room description on Bkg.com suggested the view of Bosporos was different in some rooms .. I changed rooms for this but the view was the same! Sorry, hotel!!
