The hotel’s location in the old town is great. Easy walking (although some parts are up hill) to all major sites in the area and the tram is just a short walk away. Watch out as motor traffic in the area can be chaotic and often comes to a complete standstill. The room we had was of a reasonable size and very clean. Bathroom (with shower in the bath) was perfectly adequate and water pressure and temperature were great (nice and hot). The hotel is on a busy street so there is some noise but it’s not excessive. The breakfast won’t suit those who like a hearty start to the day but I found it enough (bit more than what is often called a continental breakfast). Staff were friendly and always helpful and attentive.

There wasn't anything to complain about. Remember, this is not a five star hotel so if you set your expectations accordingly then you will be more than happy.

Location is wonderful! The neighborhood is very safe, there are several good restaurants and stores in the area, and walking to the main touristic sights in Sultanahmet only takes a few minutes. The hotel staff is very professional, kind and helpful, and although the room is quite small (making it difficult to keep bags open, for example), it is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is varied and well made, and the food was always fresh.

The airport area where you can meet your transfer is chaotic. As our flight was delayed, it took us some time to find the driver we had booked to pick us up - so, I recommend that if you wish to book the transfer service offered by the hotel, you have internet connection right on your arrival to communicate with the staff on WhatsApp, if necessary. Besides that, the transfer service was very good.

I will be honest I'm sorry But the stuff is not helpful. I recommend to change your politik like other hotels for SAHIUR ( Breakfast ) Because we are in Muslim country I think..... I have walk More than 700 m To find Opern Restaurant at 4 o'clock in the morning.

Lots to like about this hotel. - The hotel staff were very friendly. We checked in early and were offered breakfast which was nice of them. They try to meet all your needs when you request something. They allowed us to keep our bags there after check out as we were leaving in the evening. - The breakfast was good, standard turkey breakfast platter. The breakfast room is on the top floor with lots of natural light, cool plants and with a decent view. - The hotel is slightly old but clean and in good shape. There is an elevator. Lobby is slightly small but that hot an issue. - The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. There is a safe and an iron with a board. Complementary water, tea, and coffee. Wardrobe to store clothes. Shower was warm with good pressure. Clean and tidy. - Location is Fantastic. Right in the middle of eminonu. 2-3 minutes away from sirkeci station, the Egyptian bazaar and the pier around Galata bridge. Good transport connections to all parts of Istanbul. Sultan Ahmet area is a walkable distance away. - Good value for location and breakfast included

Not much to not like about the hotel except: - Breakfast can get repetitive if you stay for more than 2 days. - The red light from the smoke alarm in our room is very bright and directly above the bed so it can disturb your sleep. - The restaurant staff are nice and friendly but they did comment to each other and react to my plate as I was self serving. Admittedly I had a lot on my plate as I usually eat one meal a day.

The location is superb if you are visiting for the first time - close to the mosques, the Galata bridge and the Eminonu harbour. The neighbourhood has everything that you need - from shops to restaurants and coffee. Value for money - the hotel is not luxurious but is very clean and has a good location. We got a superior room and it was quite spacious.

The hotel was really cheap so I can't complain. It doesn't have a bar or common areas except for breakfast in the morning. The interior is quite old but the rooms are renovated and clean. If you want more luxurious rooms or a spa, a hotel bar etc. - go somewhere else. This hotel is about the location and budget.

First it took me about 2 days to choose a hotel for my stay, I was before that in Izmir on business on 5* hotel, so I needed to maintain the standards at reasonable level for my family by booking in a boutique hotel. Then someone from Esans hotel recommended this one. my eyes were tired, laptop battery drained so I clicked confirm booking.. By the end when I arrived I found all was prepared as requested for my preferences, my 3 yo cot, amazing room, so quite although it is on the street, fast wifi internet, elevator, and very healthy and diverse breakfast. Well before I could out, the reason why I came to put rate of 10 is because of support, professionalism, and dedication of Mr. Ozan, he has gone above and beyond and made click on the 10 rating button ... Thank you Mr. Ozan for making it a home stay!

None.. it was worth the money

The Venue Hotel's location was exceptional being in the midst of old Istanbul with it's beautifully refurbished buildings lining narrow winding streets close by to the ferry and tram terminals. Although a little dated I loved my sunny room with it's firm comfortable bed. WiFi was excellent. Ozan,the hotel's front of house manager was very welcoming and provided friendly helpful assistance during my eight day stay. For value for money, highly recommended.

The room is very comfortable it has all that you need, cleaning is on point. Rooms are cleaned everyday and very well, the cleaning ladies are very very nice and always smiling it was nice. They have a functional elevator and mr. Ozan is very helpful with everything that you need.

Breakfast was basic, everyday almost the same thing, choice is very very small, alot of pastry though and personel at the breakfast could be more communicative.

The hotel is perfect for a visit to Istanbul. It is close to buses and ferries for getting around and all the main sites are within walking distance. There are many restaurants close by. The staff go the extra mile to help with advice etc to make sure you get the best from your stay. 24 hour reception. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is excellent with different variations each day.

Breakfast was great, tasty and various. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I'd like to add the windows have a good isolation and despite on noisy place I heard nothing. Additionally the shower is excellent, with strong pressure and nice temperature.

They mistakenly threw out our empty transparent cosmetic bag, so it's better to notify them if you don't want to have thrown something from the table and want to clean only the bin.
