December 2022
We stayed here for two nights and found the location to be very convenient (on the bus route so bus stopped for us in front of the hotel, walking distance to town gate (aka middle gate) to Pamukkale Travertines and close to restaurants). In addition the owner and his wife were friendly and helpful, the breakfast (served in room) was very nice (homemade Turkish style breakfast) and the room was large and clean. We would happily stay here again! BTW, if you're looking for a great dinner option, try the Hiera Coffee & Tea House, you need to book a table but it's worth it!
Nothing.

This is small, fairly new property that opened in December 2019, right before the pandemic hit. It seems to be doing well, now that the tourists are returning. I didn't spend much time in the room, but it was just what I needed. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchenette (sink, mini fridge, tea kettle), a small table with two chairs and an extra table in the corner to put stuff on. There was a great view of the travertines, and a small balcony. And the entire place was spotless -- one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was served in the room, and it was excellent. As a bonus, I had breakfast with a view of the travertines as well as hot air balloons. When it's warmer, breakfast is served in the garden. Tufan the owner was very friendly and so helpful. He went out of his way to drive me to an ATM, which was only a few blocks away. He booked a hot air balloon ride for me, and arranged transport from and to the airport. He helped me flag down the mini bus which stopped in front of the hotel. And he provided a recommendation for an excellent family-run restaurant for dinner. Thank you, Tufan for a wonderful stay. I hope your dreams of expanding the property come true soon!

A gem. We loved everything about this hotel, from the hosts, to the room, breakfast and location. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. It has a kitchen and lovely big bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and lovely pillows. The wifi and aircon are perfect. We had opening doors as well on to a balcony. The bathroom is big, large shower and great shower with lots of hot water. This place is absolutely spotless and very quiet and really comfortable. Breakfast was out under the trees and homemade jam and sauce (really good), local produce, fresh bread and fruit and a lovely omelette. Good coffee as well. The hosts are really lovely, friendly and helpful and recommended a very good place to have dinner. Everything is very close, walking distance and there are views of the calcium carbonate areas and hot air balloons. I would definitely come back here to stay again. Great place and wish we had been able to stay longer.

The host and his wife are very friendly. They did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were super clean, spacious and quiet during the night. The location is excellent as it is 2 minutes walking from the Pamukkale city center and about 5 minutes driving from the thermal waters. We were served home-made breakfast in our room which was just the best we during our trip in Turkey.
Nothing, I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

The property is in the ideal location for the travertines. You can walk in five minutes to the bottom gate. If you don’t want to walk up the travertines then you can take a shuttle from the hotel which drops you off at the top and you can walk down after buying your tickets. You can get transportation to the north gate and South Gate, South Gate is easier than the north gate. The hotel serves you breakfast on your room which is quite nice because you can eat in your personal space! They make you a lovely selection of treats for breakfast. If I ever go back I will definitely stay here again. The host and his wife are both lovely and kind.

The host and his wife were very lovely and welcoming and the room was not only large, it was the cleanest of our whole trip to date. Bed was comfortable and the fridge and kettle handy. It was walking distance to the lower entrance of the terraces and the dolmas go right by the property to go to the North entrance. Breakfasts were great in the garden. Perfect stay.

The location was really close to the traventines. The host and his wife were very helpful and know the area well so were able to give us useful information and advice Breakfast was served in the room at the time you request it which is lovely. The rooms and bathroom was spotless very clean. You can ask the host to give you the timings of a shuttle which takes you up to the ancient city ruins and traventines it cost us 15lira per person for the shuttle and the entrance fee was 700 lira person I think you should go to the site gate however I found that was closer. Unless you are a fit and healthy person then just walk from the hotel to the bottom of the traventines this takes 5 mins then it takes about an hour steep uphill
Nothing.

Everything actually Mr. & Mrs. Tufan are excellent hosts. The live at the same property and take personal care. breakfast is amazing it is just like living in your own home with your family. Location is great 5 minutes walk to the lake, terrace gate, restaurants. Grocery store is across the street. He also arranged hot air balloon, air port transfer etc. The rooms were very big and spacious - we had two rooms for a large family group and we had a lot of space!

If you are planning to visit Pamukkale, Turkiye and want to stay in an excellent, family run B&B, do not fail to stay at The Cotton House. Run by Tufan (whose English is very good) and his wife who built the house, they offer a pristine room, bath, and kitchenette with all the modern amenities including cable and wifi. They serve a delicious breakfast, replete with home made jams, honey, olives, cheese, bread and eggs. They even brought more of something that was admired. Our hosts were the embodiment of Turkish hospitality. Whatever they could do to help us they did. This included helping decipher the ATM machine, driving us to the entrance of the Terraces/Hieropolis, having a carryout dinner delivered to our room as the weather was bad, and mailing a package home. And if you are of a mind to buy a carpet, they can help with that too! Just make sure you can climb stairs as they are not wheelchair accessible.

breakfast was very good - and homemade! The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The proprietors were very helpful and kind. They went above and beyond, which was greatly appreciated. They drove us to Hierapolis, assisted with withdrawing funds from an ATM, helped with sending home a package, and ordered for us dinner to be delivered due to bad weather. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who likes home comforts but who can do stairs.
I was very nervous upon arrival as the entrance did not appear to be for guests. Once inside and upstairs, all was good. Although I was there only one night, there was a TV but I couldn't get it to work.
