I have never seen a hotel on Booking.com only getting 10 stars. I think the lowest was 9 stars and that was one or two. Having stayed at Ephesus hotel and art gallery I can understand why people rate this property so highly. It is such a great experience. Lovely hotel set in a quiet neighbourhood. Very tastefully decorated rooms and a lovely courtyard to have breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic and so varied. But what really sets this hotel apart is the excellent customer service. Nurcan and her team were incredibly kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. You can see that they really care that you have a fantastic experience. Nurcan went above and beyond and even dropped me off at Ephesus. And Ilhme (hope i have the name right) was so lovely - we ended up having a couple of conversations, went for a drink and even went with me to get my bus to Izmir airport. I can honestly say that staying at Ephesus hotel and art gallery was such an amazing. I only stayed for 3 nights but wish I could have stayed longer. Also Selcuk is such a great place to stay - lots to do in the town and beyond. I ate at Amazon restaurant which was just next door two nights running - the food was excellent. Thanks for making my holiday so memorable.

I only have wonderful things to say about this place! First of all, Nurcan, this amazing woman made our stay the best of all our Turkey and Greece trip. Her kindness, flawless service and kindness made us feel just like home. Quick story: in our last night, she asked me if I needed something, I said that I wish I could eat my last Baklava… she didn’t hesitate and took her bike and bought me some delicious baklava in a neighborhood bakery.. I think not even my mother will have done that 😅. On the other hand, the room was amazing and the bed was outstanding. The location 10/10. Breakfast 10/10. Service 20/10!

The staff is amazing, they do an outstanding job to make you feel comfortable and like at home. Special thanks to Belma, who made our stay unforgettable. The room was spacious and clean. Super comfortable bed, I’ve got the best sleep in many days there. The bathroom is new and spacious, special thanks for little treats for women like a great shampoo in the shower. Breakfast is very generous and tasty, you just can’t believe your eyes when you see the table full of amazing food for the first time, impossible to eat it all :D Overall an outstanding experience, big bravo to the hotel staff!

The location was incredible to explore the museum, St John’s church and resting place. A special mention is that we could see the only pillar remaining of the ancient 7 wonder of the world, the temple of Artemis in Ephesus from my friends balcony. The hotel was clean, very comfortable and the host Nercun (a true beautiful Amazonian woman decendent I’m sure) was incredibly welcoming and helpful, she was able to organise a tour guide and driver for us to visit Ephesus and then the driver took us on to Pamukkale. Our only regret was that we didn’t plan enough time to properly explore the hotel, their art gallery and the surrounding area. The breakfast, like the other reviews have said can not be missed. A big mezze of Turkish delicacies. The pomegranate juice was amazing, as was the omelette, the sweet pumpkin and the walnuts. My personal favourite is the goats cheese pastry fingers.

That we didn’t plan enough time to spend here.

Definitely stay here! The three lovely ladies are amazing! The hotel is flawless, it should have six stars. I have never had such hospitality in a hotel. It is the first time I have ever had a good hotel breakfast. I was really sad that I couldn't eat it for the second time because I was sick. The terrace room was great, they worked hard to clean it and it was spotless. The view is really good, you can sit there in the mornings and nights. The location is good, close to Artemis, the Turkish bath, agora, and St John. Google maps will send you up St John Hill every time, but if you look at the smaller roads, you can get there without hills. Unfortunately, they ruined the rest of my trip, because every other hotel seemed so bad in comparison!!! 😉

I couldn't stay forever!

The owner and the staff could not have done anymore for us. They were delightful, kind and attentive. They had good suggestions re restaurants, transport options, posted our postcards for free ( yes, who sends these anymore!!?), AND provided us with the full breakfast at a very early hour on departure day. The owner offered to take us to the Izmir airport on a Sunday (also a public holiday) for less than a taxi. The breakfast was outstanding - a smorgasbord of delights with many things homemade such as the jams, condiments and savoury pastries. The outdoor breakfast terrace is lovely. The hotel is quite new and modern . Our room was spacious.

Nothing. It was perfect.:

It is a very nice hotel, located in the center of Celcuk, within walking distance of the main attractions (Ephesus, Ephesus museum, Basilica of St. John), restaurants, etc. At the same time, it is a nice and quiet neighborhood. The room is a good size, with nice modern decor, a good bathroom, mini-fridge full of free drinks, quality sheets and towels and very good air conditioning. The attention received has been magnificent, from arrival to departure they have been committed to making our stay more pleasant. Thanks to all the excellent professionals who contribute all their good work, always with a smile. Breakfast, served in a beautiful and quiet patio, is especially abundant, varied and delicious, and they continually offer you new things. It has been a magnificent stay, a true oasis in the heat wave that occurred in those days.

We recently had stayed at this delightful 6-room boutique hotel for one night and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the two young ladies managing the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We were warmly welcomed with the freshest fruits, setting a wonderful tone for our stay. The breakfast was a true highlight, featuring delicious Turkish pastries, made-to-order scrambled eggs, a selection of homemade jams, rich clotted cream, and more! It kept our tummies full until supper. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect night's sleep after sightseeing all day. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was immaculate, reflecting the care and dedication these two ladies put into their management. Overall, hats off to them for creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable experience.

The hotel is located only a short walk to Selcuk city center and ca. 5 min. drive from Ephesus ancient city. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The hosts went way and beyond to try to cater our every wish. Fantastic breakfast with lots of options and custom made eggs and drinks according to out wish was offered to us every morning. Water and additional soda refreshments in the mini bar were offered w/o additional cost. In addition, we were given cooled water when we went out for day trips and offered tee or coffee when we returned, all w/o additional charge. Amazing hospitality. We were able to park in front of the hotel on the not busy street, also free of charge.

It does not happen often when I cannot find anything to write into this field...

What a lovely place to stay in Selcuk! The staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean with a modern and updated bathroom. The Basilica of St John is a five minute walk. Let me say something about the breakfast in particular. It is absolutely magnificent…small plates of every Turkish delicacy that you could desire, and eggs cooked to order (get the traditional eggs with tomato or the omelette—it’s not a western-style omelette, but is super good). Also a basket of local breads, local jams, honey (to die for) and tea or coffee any way you like. They also arranged a guide and driver for us for the day, which absolutely the best way to see the historic sights. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this place. Thanks, Nurcan and family!
