the owner Adam is such a perfectionist & the most friendly sweet Turkish man we met! no fixed checkout time here, it was just amazing to hear that!! what was even more unbelievable was at checkout when time came for payment Adam asked us if we enjoyed our stay, & if our answer was no, he said “he doesn’t charge the guests” !! can u believe it ?!! such kind of “not working just to make money kind of people” exists even today!! we were also very surprised by the immaculately well maintained house keeping & upkeep of the place! the paint job was perfect on the walls not a spot of dirt! such a warm wonderful place .Adam was so warm ,friendly , welcoming, Hospitable, accommodating in every request.. we are vegetarians who don’t eat egg either, .. he was so sweet & thoughtful, he made sure to make local vegetarian dishes just for us..he looked into everything himself!! he even extended the breakfast hours for us beyond the regular time, as we woke up late & he was absolutely understanding about it ! it was our first time we received such warm accommodating extended breakfast hours in turkey—AND WITH A BIG SMILE 😃 !! Adam gave us so much time & guided us for our itinerary in selcuk! wish we had spent more than just 1 night in the wonderful hotel & owner !!

the ground floor rooms near the kitchen side can a bit noisy in the morning, Bcoz of activity.. the bathrooms are a bit small.. otherwise JUST A WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL PLACE

Amazing service offerd by all of the hotel staff. Very nice and friendly owner, giving us really good tips for the trips around Ephesus. It's lovely to stay in the small town of Selcuk and walk around. It is very quiet and you can experience local culture without masses of tourists. It is super close to Ephesus and other historical sites. The hotel is small and comfy, with family-like feeling. Absolutely beautifully made garden and fabulous breakfast. We felt very good in the hotel and will be happy to return again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Drinks in our mini bar were after expiry date. We believe this will be changed. Everything else was good.

We can’t say enough about how much we loved staying here. The rooms and garden are beautiful, it’s a short walk away from Selçuk center and the Temple of Artemis, the breakfast is very delicious, and Erdem and all the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They’ve raised the bar for all our future stays at other hotels. We didn’t want to leave!

This is minor but worth knowing if you’re a light sleeper and sharing a room — the bathroom light is connected to a very loud fan so if somebody goes to the bathroom in the middle night, it might wake up whoever else is in the room. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs!

The hotel was amazing. The Host is very kind and friendly, available to give us directions and advice, such as where to dine (really good suggestion!). The room was spacious and characteristic, very Turkish style hotel. No parking problems. The hotel is located in an area with many restaurants, bars and other facilities. Breakfast is with fixed dish (no possibility to choose from a buffet) with bread, olive, cheeses (yummy!), eggs as you want... so we didn' starve! :-) recommend

I would add some more dessert and sweet things at the breakfast.

Well appointed, clean and very kind staff. It was walking distance to both Ephesus Museum and St John’s Basilica and Fortress. Erdam arranged a taxi to and from Ephesus Ruins and recommended how we could fit in additional sights like the museum and the basilica ruins. Adnan and Neco were also helpful as dinner hosts and in arranging late check out. The restaurant (where breakfast is served) is cozy but can be cool in the evening and early morning, as it is on a covered patio. Breakfast spread is delicious, including breads, cheese plate, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, melon and breakfast mezes. They also offer eggs cooked sunny side up, scrambled or as an omelette (get the omelette with cheese). Dinner options are tasty and we ere too lazy to walk down the hill to check out the local restaurants The pool was a bit chilly, but was a great place to lay out on a chaise and soak in some sun

Erdam, the hotel owner is very helpful and welcoming. His energy is infectious. He helped us with planning our day and organizing taxis. This boutique hotel is located in the middle of the town and is close to Ephesus. The rooms are a little small, but very clean and comfortable. As we were checking out very early, they even packed a breakfast for us. Overall, I'd recommend this place.

Wifi was slow and the family room was quite compact.

Let me just say, THIS TOWN is BEAUTIFUL! With the loveliest host ever. Irdam/Irdan (apologies) was so nice. He welcomed me as soon as I got out of the car. He made me feel at home. He organized everything for me… and even gave me a deal. He’s like the gift that keeps on giving… cuz he also upgraded me to a better room and a better view…. And, of course I didn’t forget, the BREAKFAST! omg, they were amazing… and it was everyday that I was there… Thank you for the Livia Garden Hotel team for making me feel safe and at home!!!

Location was perfect, very close to the train station, restaurants, and Ephesus. The staff were also extremely welcoming and helpful with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. The property is serene with a bar, pool, and green spaces. Traditional Turkish breakfast was a treat. The rooms are small and the bathroom is very tight, but for the price and compared to other options in the area, it is a great place to stay

The location is far from the hustle and bustle of kusadasi. It is a boutique hotel with 3 star amenities set in a quite location. The room are good and come with all the basic amenities. It would be nice if they can replace their TVs with smart TVs. The staff is very accommodating and courteous. They went out of their way to furnish our requests. It is also walking distance to a few good restaurants in Selcuk.

Nothing to dislike. It is perfect for what it is, a small quaint boutique hotel.

This was a lovely hotel. The staff are excellent. Selcuk is a city worth visiting. The Livia Garden Hotel has a restaurant that serves dinner in their beautiful garden overlooking the pool. We recommend trying this. The breakfast is amazing. However, after several days in Turkey we did not want all the bread and sweets so we bought fruit and then they saw this and had fruit for us every morning! It is close to many restaurants and shops. There are many cats around so we bought food for them everyday and feed them. The neighbors were so appreciative. I suggest you take food to Ephesus too if you like cats, many of which are sterilized. Ephesus is amazing. We had the best guide, Dervish Sule. He also took us to Magnesia, where there are other ruins, and then to one of the best restaurants (a winery) we ate at during our entire 3 week trip. It has fusion Turkish food and is a must for any foodies. The pool area is very relaxing.

There are some noises from animals from the surrounding houses, but we still had a very good sleep every night
