We truly enjoyed everything in this hotel. The property is beautiful with flowers and grape vines over the breakfast area. We booked 3 rooms. Each of them were spacious and clean with air conditioning. Much needed air conditioning as it was 100° F daily. The pool was refreshing and very clean. Breakfast was delicious every day. Anything we asked for was given to us with a genuine smile. The property has a great view of the valley below, St. John's Basilica and you can see The Ephesus as well. Staff was kind and helpful, gave us rides down to the local town. Suggested places to eat, that were delicious and helped us order food to bring in. One day during our stay I became very sick from too much sun. The owner came to me to see if he could get me anything or help me. Both him and Denise were great. I've had the opportunity to explore Tűrkiye twice. Staying in many hotels. By far Villa Dreams is my favorite. If my life brings me there again I would book this hotel again.

The only thing I didn't like was the tours booked through their travel partner had to be paid in cash.

An oasis in an inaccesible part of town. The pool was fantastic; clean and deep enough and large enough to swim in. Breakfast too was very good, fresh, plentiful and varied. Okyay was pleasant and helpful with good recommendations and the loan of beach chairs.

The room at the top with a tiny balcony and wobbly chairs did have a view but so distant as not to be worth the drawbacks of the room. Other rooms which were empty were better. Parking was made possible by staff moving cars around but nothing could be done to improve the road to the villa! No where to eat near by.

I had a wonderful experience at Villa Dreams. The hosts were so wonderful and helpful during my stay - not only were they helpful for the normal types of hotel requests, they went above and beyond to help me with unique requests I needed for my trip in Turkey. In terms of the hotel, it was perfectly clean, super well maintained, and the BEST part was the view. Oh my gosh, this was the most perfect balcony I've had in Turkey. The location is a little bit outside the town center of Selcuk, but the fact it sits up a hill is why the views are so gorgeous. I had a rental car during my stay, and after finding the hotel the first time - it was simple enough to go back in and out of the town for meals. It was also close enough to Ephesus, and the hotel set me up with a tour that exceeded my expectations (since I was planning to do it myself), but honestly, it's so much better to have less hassle with the heat in the summer.

The breakfast was very nice and fresh. Fresh fruit and coffee as well as eggs made in a few different ways based on your choice. The view was nice from the hotel of the town and the castle. Could catch the sunset for nice views. Our hosts were very helpful, hospitable and pleasant. Gave us good tips of places to eat like old house restaurant. Another good place is alsancak pide place in town. Room was pretty spacious and the outdoor terrace was a nice bonus. Sad not warm enough to use the pool but that would have been a nice extra.

The memory foam pillow was a little too hard. Also the toilet seat cover would not stay up which was frustrating.

Nothing I didn’t like but good to know it is not really practical to walk into town (but owners are kind enough to shuttle you there if they are available) ; rooms are super clean but not all of them have been recently renovated starts - again it’s part of the charm of the hotel

Highly recommend!! A fantastic boutique hotel located on the hill overlooking Selçuk with incredible views, clean rooms and a beautiful, well maintained terrace and pool. We booked the 'King Room with Spa Bath' and were not disappointed with a double balcony, our own deck chairs and balcony bath, spacious room and sunset view. Breakfast is delicious, fresh and served on the terrace. The pool is clean and good size, although understandably not heated at this time of year. The hotel is up on the hill but the views are worth it and the amazing staff shuttled us into town whenever we needed. The walk itself only takes about 10-15 min too. The staff are what make this place super special - the owners Okyay and Melik were so welcoming and always willing to help us out. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had stayed to relax longer. We would highly recommend to all our friends, and it is one of our favourite hotels in 4 months of travel. Make sure you stay at least 3 nights to make the most of this little gem!

We only noticed the water in the balcony spa bath wasn't quite as hot as the shower

We stayed only 2 nights here but we enjoyed a lot; we wish we had had more time to enjoy the hotel facilities (including the pool, which we didn't have time to use). The room was very spacious (except the bathroom which was a little small, but with a fantastic shower) and quiet and had a terrace with a fantastic view of the Selcuk fortress. It also has a jacuzzi but we didn't use it. The breakfast was served in the tables located in the garden by the pool and it tasted really good. Malik (hope I'm writing his name right) was very nice, he shared directions and recommendations of places to eat on the night we arrived.

You have to pay a lot of attention to find your way to the hotel if you are driving (which we were). Basically, you have to drive north all the way from the beginning of Bademlik all the way straight to the hotel. In the map that was shared with us, there was a right turn from Bademlik which led us to a VERY narrow and unpaved street which was a nightmare to get out. Once you figure it out it's ok.

The place was very nice and clean, and the view from the room and the common terrace was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very kind and friendly, especially Melik. Melik went above and beyond in providing excellent service since the night we arrived; he was always super helpful and professional — definitely a great asset to Villa Dreams. If we ever come back to Selçuk, we would choose to stay here again.

There was nothing not to like about the hotel. The only thing guests should be aware of is that it's not in the very center of Selçuk — it's at the top of a hill (which in itself is a plus, because the view from there is gorgeous). What's nice is that if you let the hotel know, they will come pick you up in a car from the train station and drop you off back in the city center when you need and free of charge.

We had a fabulous stay. We were welcomed and shown were to park our rental car. The rooms were spacious and had a wonderful view from our private balcony. We booked the deluxe double room with balcony. The bed was large and comfortable, and it had a very good shower. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, which we enjoyed on the terrace. We tried out the pool, which was refreshing after a hot day. We received a great recommendation from them for a restaurant in Sirince, a little village not far away.

Our room was up a few stairs which was no problem for us but some people may not like it. They helped with our luggage though. The hotel is away from the main centre up a hill, which means restaurants are not in easy walking distance, I imagine, but we didn't check as we had a car. For us, our stay was all positive.

Exceptional - the best view in town across to the fortress and St Johns Basilica. And the wonderful treat of a refreshing pool and multiple balconies to relax on, so much so that we didn’t go out but chose to enjoy takeaway by the pool. Hospitality was amazing, nothing was too much effort and Meliksah / Melih made our stay extra enjoyable so thank you

The only reason I marked this down is that getting to the location can be tricky… despite the hotel’s best efforts , Google keep overriding and we went the difficult road - was manageable in our rental but the next day we did the recommended was and it was much easier!!
