Hampton Inn & Suites Teaneck/Glenpointe

We decided to stay here for 1 night after a long day of driving before continuing to Manhattan. The hotel is right off the highway and easy to find. The lobby is tight and checking in was as good as it could have been with a mob of people in front of me. The room was quiet and they have an ice machine on each floor. While you can opt for valet parking, we chose to park across the street in the Marriott parking lot to have easy access to our car whenever we wanted. Breakfast is good and everyone can find something to eat. Scrambled eggs, toast, coffee, oatmeal, muffins, bacon, yogurt etc. And if you need to go to Costco or Walmart it is an easy 8 minute drive. We will stay here again should we be lucky to return for another visit to Manhattan.

Breakfast was excellent and included in the price. The room had a problem with the AC and maintenance was sent up immediately. The problem took a while to fix, but service personnel were excellent. A nightlight in the bathroom was broken reported and a service person came to fix it within 10 minutes. I asked for extra towels, they also arrived within 15 minutes of being requested. These folks take service seriously.

Parking area was very crowded and it was hard to drop off my wife easily. Really not enough room for valets to work and self serve parkers to drop folks off.

This property was in a great location to where I was planning on visiting while I was there. My family and I visited American Dream. The staff was friendly and check in was quick and easy. I’m funny about staying at hotels because of my case of OCD, but it was very clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Breakfast wasn’t all that great, but I didn’t plan on eating there anyway. Nothing major, just bagels, cereal, muffins, sausage, egg & cheese breakfast biscuit but no jelly or anything to put on them. They also had coffee, tea, and orange juice.

The breakfast staff were AMAZING! Very pleasant, and accommodating! They made my family and I feel like we were back at home, as we were originally from Teaneck. The kitchen manager greeted us daily and shared a few laughs. The other kitchen staff were super nice as well. Also, the front desk clerks on the overnight shift were AWESOME, in making sure we were able to get an early check in as our flight arrived earlier than anticipated. They got us set up and to our room in no time at all.

Had we stayed longer.

The desk clerk Dimitri was a sweetheart. He was friendly, helpful and always smiling 😃 not only when addressing me but other guess as well. I felt comfortable teasing him and he always took it in stride. Sorry he wasn't there when I checked out. The facility itself was very clean and only 7 minutes from my cousin's house. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

I didn't like the ideal of paying $15 a day for parking. However the short walk to the Marriott was not bad to park in there lot. I could see my rental car from my room window.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Room was clean and daily taken care of by the staff. Bathroom was clean. Sheets and pillows were clean. No odors. Ice machine was accessible. Mini fridge was clean. TV had many options and free wifi was pretty good. Nj transit bus stop is right across the road which was very convenient to get to NYand return. 20 minutes ride to Manhattan.

There was a 150$ refundable fee in addition to booking. Breakfast was very basic but coffee was terrible.

Breakfast was good, fresh. Location was close to where I needed to go. Staff was professional, friendly. Decor was very stylish. Room was very nice, cozy. I had a great view of the sunrise over the mountains, so that was super awesome.

Should be free parking and not need to walk across the street from the Marriott, though there was a little park, so not that bad. Seemed safe, but guest are paying enough $$$ for a room, it should validate/free parking. Hampton Inn neon sign also was very bright and shone into my room. Maybe that should be dimmed after midnight?

rooms were nice and clean beds were comfy. good restaurants near by and close to American dream works amusement parks and nyc , good price for 2 nights

only one small tiny pool for two merged hotels and not monitored as there was like 20 kids jumping in and all doing things there not suppose to while like 10 or more adults sat out on the patio celebrating a birthday and drank. it was dirty and covid might have died down but it still exists we stayed because we wanted our kids to have something to do as there not too much close by without driving into the city and slowly the other people left but the rule of only 12 people wasn’t a little broken it was a lot and how do you have a pool with a capacity for only 12 with two hotels. and no one wants to walk across a main road going to the highway to use Marriott’s parking or pool.

The location was excellent, close the Bronx where we were traveling for a Yankees game. The area felt safe and everything was clean and staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was good and I am usually not a huge fan of hotel breakfasts! This hotel seems like the best value of you want safety, comfort, convenience, and cleanliness.

Check in time isn’t until 3pm, I understand why they need to do it at that time I just wish it could be earlier!

Very quiet room. AC worked perfectly but emitted no noise. Breakfast staff was particularly helpful and professional, as were employees at front desk and valet parking. I am not generally a good traveler - I often don’t like the smells, housekeeping, neighbors smoke or noise when traveling. None of these issues were a problem. I particularly like the common areas to visit with family or just sit and read with a cup of coffee.
