Room was spacious and with plenty of storage. Could have done with couple of more hangers. Liked the fact that there was a bathtub. Location is very convenient - especially that it is 8/10 minutes' walk from Khalidiya Mall. Also easy to get a taxi.

Reception desk now on ground floor seems smaller than before when it was on first floor - and at times there is a long wait to check in or speak to someone. Also several times we had problems with room keycard. Sometimes, it worked in lift but not for door and vice versa. Then you have to go to reception and sometimes wait your turn before they can reactivate your key. This is surely a general problem (assume we aren't the only ones to experience this) which I thought only used to happen years ago when a mobile could affect a room cardkey. Pity the Ground Floor restaurant is not as it used to be. No longer desirable to eat there. Also the pub seems to be permanently closed - it was also closed last time I stayed there a year or more ago.

Location is great. Walking distance to Al Khalidia Mall and the beach (about 7-10 min). The rooms were clean and comfortable with a good view. Parking is available at 15 dhs per night.

the staff should be friendlier and more smiling. The reception staff does not have a unified dress code, which is strange for a hotel. The room service can be better. The cleaners did not keep any towels in my room after cleaning and despite calling teh reception, it took close to 90 minutes to send towels

This is the second time I stayed at Khalidiya Hotel and was very pleased with my stay. I ended up staying an additional week. They gave me an excellent room with a beautiful view. The cleaning staff was amazing and the room was always clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Khalidiya Mall and the corniche. Most of the taxis I took were very reasonably priced. I liked everything about my stay. I really have to highlight the professionalism and friendliness of Roger. Upon arrival at the hotel, he took care of my check-in and made sure that everything was taken care of during my stay. I definitely recommend this hotel!!! Great job!!!

Our 2nd visit to this hotel. The staff were brilliant, particularly Roger, who made us feel very welcome and made our stay extra special. Roger was friendly, cheerful and always tried to engage with us, which was incredible considering the brusqueness and impatience of some of the other guest. It can't be an easy job, but he is a brilliant front man. Any problems we could ask the staff for help, and were encouraged to do so. We did have a couple of cabs chance their arm, suggesting their contactless was not working, suggesting the exchange rate was half it actually is, but when we involved the hotel staff, it was suddenly working. We took taxis to the F1, 36km, 40mins, less than £20. We shared 2 rooms, and although the boys shared a bed, the beds were so big you didn't even know anyone else was in it with you. The location, although a little away from downtown, is excellent, as you have Corniche beach about 5 mins walk away, many good and reasonably priced eateries within a 3 block radius, (a Bottle Store very close!!!) and anywhere else is easily accessible by licensed taxis at a very reasonable price. Pub attached is traditional with lots of dark wood, pool table, food, etc., Oh, and you can smoke. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would return again. Be nice to the staff and it will be reciprocated. Shame we didn't see Roger before we left to say Thank you.

The pool on the roof was reasonable, but could do with some amenities up there (a bar would be excellent), although there is ongoing construction up there, so maybe that is happening as we speak.

I would first say the location is fantastic. It is in the middle of city centre. Everything is very near to you. The cleanliness, the atmosphere, decorations, and definitely the hotel staff. All of them were very warm, respectful and welcoming. I have to give big compliments to Roger for assisting me in most with my room, gave me amazing view, as solo female traveller I felt very safe here. Also I would like to address Joy from the restaurant in 2nd floor. Joy made me felt comfortable dining by myself. And another staff who took care of my belongings downstairs after I checked out from the room as I head to the museum for few hours before leaving. Overall my short stay was glorious with wonderful people assisting me and helping me in every way possible. Thank you very much Khalidiya Sheraton! -Nurul

Reception and housekeeping services were wonderful,as well as the location.The suite was very spacious,clean and neat,with a great view and a cosy,comfortable bed.The lighting options in the suite were awesome,giving guests the choice to create a suitable ambience.

There was a charge for the hotel's private parking space and for ordering an ice bucket from room service which are both usually complementary for in house guests. At times,when the reception area was busy,there could be quite a wait in line before being attended to.

Even though the hotel is not the newest and could use some renovation everything was in order. Great attentive staff from beginning to the end, clean and comfortable room, good location close to the beach, nice breakfast

*You have access to the pool and gym only in certain hours as it's a private membership facilitie, quite dirty actually. Also women not allowed at the gym except 2 days a week (!!!) *horrible coffee for breakfast

Have stayed at this hotel long ago, and now again, and it still got its charm, I particularly love the room sizes, quite specious and well lit, good furniture and great service, the staff at the reception are amazing, hospitable and professional, always with a big smile and willing to help at all times, I was upgraded into a suit at the 13th floor, given suit no. 1303, amazing vies of the sea, I would bot think of staying anywhere else next time I am in Abu Dhabi

The room is very Big and the king size bed is great

the bathroom was very old stile, there are only British plugs and not adaptors. The room was sold for 4 people but with just one king size bed and the additional beds must be paid apart without pre-advice: if I book for 4 people, I should get beds for 4 people and not just for 2! After my complain I got just one additional bed for free for the girl, therefore the little boy slept on a sofa.

Very nice experience at this hotel. Location is perfect, possibility to visit lot of places of Abu Dhabi only by walking. Staff is really nice and helpful. The room was perfect, big and clean. Swimming pool on the roof is just amazing. If you need a car I recommend Thrifty in Khalidiya mall, cheap and correct cars.

Great experience, everything was good. Not sure you’ll find better in Abu Dhabi.
