Very nice, professional and helpful staff. A very nice swimming pool with hot water (even a little too warm). Good location and tasty breakfast are additional advantages of this hotel. Since our flight was quite late, we were allowed to stay at the hotel for a few hours after check-out, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the room rented for three adults is not suitable for this purpose and I was given a fold-out bed to sleep in (not very comfortable). All the utensils in the room (towels, cosmetics, drinks) were also only for 2 people. However, the missing items were quickly delivered by the staff. I would rate the stay 10 points if it weren't for this one thing

We got an upgraded room when we arrived, the bed was comfy, cleaning was done everyday, we always got mineral water, tea, coffee in the room. The hotel has a pool, gym and sauna on the top. Bus stations are very close, it is easy to get to the city but taxi is also cheap. There were a lot of choices by breakfast.

Very comfortable stay during my time at Copthorne Downtown. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was also great and is worth spending money on. The location also seemed to be in a good spot that was close to a lot of the tourist locations. I also arrived earlier than expected but the staff were able to accommodate an early check in for me.

Great location, pleasant neighborhood, well connected, comfortable rooms and beds, pleasant vibe, friendly staff. Perfect breakfast. Great view from our rooms too.

The only con was the poor soundproofing. I was woken up brutally by someone’s alarm at 4.30 am - vibrations loud as if it was my own alarm (I literally tried to switch mine off). It continued to ring for the full 1.5h every 5 min. The ear blockers didn’t help. It’s more a fault of a bad neighbor but maybe some better soundproofing could help… PS. To all people that set more than 2 alarms - please stop doing it, PLEASE…

The building has been renamed numerous times by big hotel groups and has been taken care of pretty well in terms of management. The hotel is right smack in the middle of the city which makes it one of the best when coming into Abu Dhabi for business trips or just to have a stroll around the city. Parking is free and valet is good. Concierge is more than just helpful, their hospitality is just something you would not expect from the size of the establishment. A big shoutout as well to Allan from Concierge who really made our stay very pleasant by going above and beyond his duty to make us feel at home during the entirety of our stay.

All good things aside, there is a lot of room for improvement as well. since the hotel has been open for a while some things need quite some attention in terms of catching up. The swimming pool is very outdated, size is ok for the space that it is allowed to be in. The gym is quite worn out as well. the room keys work sporadically. although not that bad, the carpet in the corridors leading to our room has this quaint smell and feel to it. Breakfast was also average. Overall, hotel stays are a mix of amenities and people. Where the hotel lacks in its amenities, it gives back to the people experience that it offers which made our stay a very good one.

This hotel is amazing, and they have thought about all the little things. While the rooms are dated, they are extremely comfortable, and include things like shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, hairdryers (that actually work properly!) and more. The area is also great if you need to be in the main city, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby – including WTC Mall just a few minutes away by car, and the iconic Al Ibrahimi restaurant that has great shawarma! The staff are extremely kind and helpful, even providing us a free late check out as we unexpectedly had to travel to another emirate the day before checking out, and offering our friend a price matched room when they booked on the day of.

As mentioned, the building is a little dated – we had a specific smell in the corridors of our floor which wasn’t great, but not a big issue and couldn’t be smelled from the rooms at all.

The hotel is well located in the downtown area Local transport is well served with many bus routes running nearby. Taxi are readily available. There are plenty of shopping options close to hand In the Downtown area there are many restaurants, with many cuisines available The team at the hotel were friendly, pre-visit communication was answered promptly. Breakfast was ok, but the restaurant's waiting team were excellent The room was fine, and the hotel is generally well maintained, but a refresh will be needed soon The hotel represented excellent value for money when I stayed

My stay was wonderful! The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and it truly made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The staff stood out for their exceptional service—always friendly, professional, and ready to assist with any request. Their helpful attitude made the visit even more enjoyable.

I did notice that the amenities provided, like flip-flops and a toothbrush, were limited to just one set for a double room, which was a bit inconvenient. I would recommend improving this aspect for a more comfortable stay.

House keeping were brilliant. When looking for a hotel I base my stay on the cleanliness of the hotel and standard of house keeping - and it’s the reason for extending our stay. Plus house keeping team were all so humble. Reception staff and the concierge were very accommodating and professional. We had to extend our visit twice due to securing a property and they were able to accommodate us. Location is central to shops, restaurants, bus stops, taxi stands etc. I felt like it was walking distance to shopping centres. It’s a great location and at the time was the only hotel on tripadvisor that didn’t have any fake reviews.

We got a massive room (walk-in robe, living room area, bedroom area, and huge bathroom) on the last floor, which was ideal as we were coming with a bicycle. The free car valet is provided by the hotel. Good location, close to the World Trade Center, corniche, grocery store, mall and outlets.

The A/C was very loud, and even though we set it for heating, it was only cooling, making the room really cold. The windows weren't insulated enough, allowing noise from the street to come in, and the blinds were ripped off the hangers, introducing light through the night. All the staff were very friendly but seemed really unhappy when we wanted to keep our luggage with them between check-out and our flight.
