Hotel Oryx provided an outstanding experience, surpassing our expectations. The apartment was huge, spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The breakfasts were varied and tasty, with new choices daily. The dinners were amazing too, offering two large portions with a hookah (sisha) for just 30€. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The range of toiletries, including shampoos, creams, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, razors and many more added to the comfort. Daily housekeeping kept everything pristine and well-stocked, including at least two mineral waters daily. Highly recommended for a superb stay.

The room was clean and with all the necessary amenities. On the last day they allowed me a late check out with extra fee of 100 AED.

I think that I reserved a king room but I got a room for people with disabilities, so the bathroom was adapted to them.

However, I feel compelled to address a concerning incident that took away from an otherwise pleasant experience. My friend and We opted for a double room with 2 bed to save on accommodation costs, as we were more interested in allocating our budget towards exploring the city and participating in tours. While the overall service was commendable, there was an uncomfortable moment at the reception. The staff, unfortunately, made jokes in Arabic about two men sharing a room, and it was painfully obvious. This not only left us feeling uneasy but also questioned the professionalism of the establishment. I believe it's crucial for hotel staff to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all guests, regardless of their choices or preferences. I hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for the hotel to address such situations and ensure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable during their stay. Very comfortable. Literally everything - hotel, room, bathroom, staff. A lot of space. Huge king size bed. Very clean, and the cleaning team did an amazing job during all the time we stayed there. We also liked the tiles on the floor very much. It keeps the environment cool and comfortable as well. Great location close to the beach and to the restaurants at the next street. Easy to find, the taxi drivers know this hotel quite well. The staff was very friendly. All requests were managed immediately and on the high level of quality. Including but not limited to room service, laundry, etc. We highly recommend this place for couples.

Room was kept clean and it was spacious. Just needed to ask staff for any requirements you had and it was done. Very courteous and polite staff throughout my stay. Fado's bar serves excellent food and good variety of drinks. Shops and eateries a plenty within walking distance. Corniche very easy walk from hotel .

the hotel is very well located, the room is spacious, as is the bathroom and it is clean

in the morning at 7 o'clock the fire alarm went off because someone was cooking in the hotel. The problem was not that the alarm went off, but the lack of staff intervention. Everyone came out into the hallway and wondered what was happening. Even if it was a false alarm, someone should have told us not to panic. It's uncomfortable when you're so tired after a long flight that a fire alarm goes off for an hour. the lack of reaction of the staff is disturbing

Bathroom is awesome especially the bathtub after running a maathon.

The door access sometimes was not working on our 2nd day of stay. Also we booked with group of friends and we stayed in different floors, however it's good thing that no one can go wherever floor they want but for us who booked a group of friends and we stayed in different floors it was hard because we were joining a marathon and we were sharing things for that event and it was hard to go in their rooms because our access was not allowing it.

I love the room, it was really good and spacious and my overall experience is always good when staying at the Oryx

Not having a parking facility is definitely an issue, which I feel could be addressed, to offer guests peace of mind when checking in at the hotel, instead of guests having to resort to looking for a public parking spots amongst all the resident/ permit holder parking's in the area. This for me is the only downside of staying at the Oryx.

Large spacious room.

Upon check-in, all the necessary information was not provided in full (Where to eat, where the restaurant is located, what establishments are located on the territory of the hotel). Monotonous food, the absence of most dishes and drinks in the evenings, was not enough for everyone. The service personnel did not have time to fulfill their duties.
