Good Location near Alkhour Rooms are traditional decorated Excellent Breakfast & keeping changing every day. Restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful Special Tracy from africa & Mohamed from Egypt.

Housekeeping staff are very slow and not helpful..i called twice through operater i wanted soap and shampoo but no body came ,then I had to go down to reception to complain.. And the next day i put a tag to clean the room, but no body came to clean it.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was a good choice, unlike most of the hotels in the region in the same price range. This hotel has an atypical charm. Built in an ancient style and situated above a souk. The pool was on the roof of one of the neighboring hotels, and could be reached either by a 15-minute walk from our room, or by taking a buggy from the reception. What we appreciated most was the attitude of the staff, all very nice and friendly. always ready to help. Unfortunately, I can't remember everyone's names, but I can at least mention Sameh and Anusha and eveyone from the breakfast team. The breakfast had many choices.

The toilets smelled a bit because of the sewage.

this hotel is in an amazingly unique location with a very authentic Arabian concept first of all the staff are extremely welcoming, Alla at the reception was very sweet and accommodating, she made sure we were comfortable. Caesar gave us a a welcome tour by buggy around the hotel and it felt very personal. The room itself is beautiful, every bit of decoration has been thoughtfully put together and the room looks like something out of Aladdin. They provide lots of water bottles and have delicious food at the hôtel restaurant. The location is in the heart of Al fahidi heritage village, there are so many shops and restaurants you will never fall short of choice. Highly recommend this to tourists and locals alike, you have to try this hotel, even if you live nearby or it’s just for one night.

I loved the location in the old part of town, and the breakfast had so many lovely options to choose from. It was about a 20-30 min taxi ride to Downtown, depending on traffic, and about 30-40 to Jumeirah Beach, but I liked being in the old area so it didn't bother me. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I had an early flight and was going to miss breakfast on the last day and so they made up a Breakfast Box for me to take.

The worst thing was a couple of musicians singing and playing right outside my window from 4-11pm each day. It was very loud and meant I couldn't go to sleep until they'd finished. They are a tourist attraction but not so pleasant right outside your room for hours each day. If you get room 205 (or the one next to it) I'd ask to change!

This is definitely a unique experience. I love the rustic, heritage theme. They managed to incorporate the traditional look with a modern hotel feel. The hotel is very clean and tidy... the room felt comfortable. I only had a bit of an issue with the AC as I couldn't get it to reduce the temperature. The room and bathroom are special. The staff is very friendly and professional. I was very surprised when I was walking towards the hotel and one of the staff members stopped by in their golf car and asked if I'm heading to their hotel, so they dropped me off. Pool facilities are great, although not in a nearby proximity of your room, but you can always request staff to drop-off/pick-up.

The location is convenient if you want to explore the old town or you travel everywhere by car, but if need to take public transport (especially the train) it is not very convenient. Dubai is not very convenient for walking as it is very hot. Although the staff can drop you off, the facilities are not close by. For example, on the last day, I wanted to take a shower, but I had to ask the staff to drop me off at a nearby hotel that had showers.

This is delightful and quirky hotel, in a recreation of what old Dubai possibly once looked like; the labyrinth of alleyways and paths thru the old souk makes for an intriguing walk around. The room is genuinely novel and unique in style, and the surroundings very relaxing.

As i booked thru Booking.com i get no reward points for my stay with Hilton; a pointless and pedantic niggle. Secondly, Booking.com need to be more transparent with the costs; it went from one price to a lot more in no time. Be clear on pricing from the initial booking forward.

The most beautiful location in Dubai. The hotel showcases an amazing combination of the old Dubai heritage feel and modern features and comfort. The hotel staff are the most welcoming and professional, each and everyone from reception staff to room service has made our experience so pleasant, they have attended to all our needs very well.

The pool is located in a different hotel close by, but that wasn’t a problem cause the hotel staff can provide you a lift there.

The breakfast was sufficient, good choice for any nationality. Rooms cozy, quiet area, restaurants just few steps away. All details in room have been stylish, receptionist even provided a device adapter. Swimming pool in Canopy hotel free of charge with amazing view.

A wardrobe handle was released so that door couldn’t be opened easily. The distance between rooms and swimming pool may be big, the e-buggy must be used and waiting time may be quite long. Windows do not isolate the noise very good, voices from outside can be heard especially in the evening.

For my first visit to Dubai, I did NOT want to focus on the glamorous and shiny-new parts of town. Rather I wanted to see how Gulf peoples lived before oil was discovered. For this, this hotel and the neighboring historic district were a perfect home base. And, being there during Ramadan - right along Dubai Creek - was especially compelling. Plenty of restaurant options within an easy walk, too. The staff were tremendous - especially Tracy making the coffee in the breakfast cafe. My room perfectly suited my needs, the bedding very comfortable and the bath nicely appointed. A great stay, highly recommended.

Dubai has a very modern metro system and it's a necessary fact-of-life if you want to visit the major sights - Burg Khalifa, Palm Jumeira, Dubai Marina, Museum of the Future, The Frame, etc - no matter where you stay in Dubai. But, the closest metro station is about one mile from this property. I was not deterred but some might be.
