The staff was great, the food was great, private villa with pool was great, facilities was mostly great, view is nice and unique, not many guests on the island for it's size so you can spread out and relax, good wifi

Why you charge hotel guests separately for the boat ride? Boat ride to the island should be included in room price. The facilities was kind of a mixed bag. The island is clearly still being developed so depending where you are on the island there might be noise from generators or bad smell in the air. Luckily our room was away from this so it did not impact us but you clearly notice it on the way to the room. Most of the facilities are nice and as you would expect though and the room was very nice. It's an artificial island so the sand is not as smooth as you would expect, water was very clear and clean though. There are only two major restaurants for dinner (one Indian and one Greek), the food especially in the Indian one was great.

I love Anantara resorts because you are guaranteed exceptional services and facilities. We enjoyed the small pool in the villa and felt the beach was almost private for us. The food at the restaurants was delicious and everyone working there was super friendly.

The logistics to go and return is why I didn’t give this resort a 10 out of 10. You don’t receive clear guidelines on what you should do and because of the waiting for the luggage, the trip to and from lasted 90 mins each way.

1. the transfer by bout wasn’t good experience.. its a small bout with only few seats outside. the inside seats are very hot because their is no AC. 2. I suppose to have someone talk to me via WhatsApp to support us during our stay but this never happened. 3. there is a door from the pool directly to the toilet it was looked and I have to call 3 times till someone come to unlock it. other than this its a great please

I enjoyed 2 night in the island. They had very helpful and extremely nice staff, especially the one and only Sayyed Altaf (he was a drop from heaven). I booked the joiner ocean view suite and got a free upgrade to accommodate my request. The Island has many facilities (gift shop, salon, Greek restaurant, Indian/Arabic restaurant, a lounge, pool, water sports, kids area, swing on the edge of the sea, and tennis court. I tried the Greek restaurant and enjoyed iced tea watching the sunset in the Indian/Arabic restaurant. I also tried hoverboard 👍🏼 with Mohammed. The atmosphere was phenomenal, clean and organized. The place is good for couples and families. I would definitely do it again to escape the stress of work and life.

One of, if not, the best resorts we have stayed at in Dubai. The location being on the islands gives an amazing feeling of actually being away from Dubai, yet only a 20 minute boat ride from the Palm. There is a true sense of peace and calm giving pure relaxation whilst looking back on the city of Dubai. The staff were all exceptional, very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make this a great trip. We will 100% be back and would recommend this place to anyone.

Very hard to find anything not to like with the resort but if anything I would say the breakfast was not at the level of other resorts/hotels with less choice and it seemed at the time the restaurant was a little under staffed with orders taking longer than expected. It was still a very nice breakfast overall in a great setting with views across to Dubai but this would be the only slight negative to highlight.
