Nice location

The bathroom wall tiles are dirty, housekeepers don’t scrub them. Even the floors be spotty after cleaning them.

Good location, close to Mall of The Emirates. Their staff at reception was very helpful (Acilia, if I remember correctly). We got a complementary room upgrade, the room was clean and nice, the breakfast was good too. They helped us book a Desert Safari with guide/driver Saqib which was a very good experience. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in 606, the noise and vibration from the nightclub Emperor is rather disturbing and goes on till late night. If staying for long, insist on a room as far away from the nightclub as possible. Also, the management should look into this and do something for soundproofing the rooms.

- Location is great, a 3 min walk to the mall of Emirates and 2 of my favorite restaurants. - The staff were always very friendly and responsive to my requests. They always offered plenty of water as I was often stuck in my room working long hours during this trip. On this trip, I traveled with heavy bags and the staff were very helpful in assisting with these. Overall, a good experience for the price. - The food in the Monarch restaurant was a bit pricy, but was great. I often wanted to personally thank the chef for the choices of chicken and fish dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. - Lighting in the room is usually an insignificant feature, but I was pleasantly surprised by the switchable soft backlighting designed as part of the decor. I often worked long hours and this lighting presented a good environment for work and enjoying movies when I got the chance. I liked the design of the building, with a hall balcony overlooking the lobby and giving the feeling of more open space. While being rectangular, the floor design provided an unexpected change to the boring simplistic arrangements often found in many hotels.

- The view facing the back of the building was not so great. But almost every hotel in the busy districts of Dubai suffers from this. - The pool was under maintenance so I didn't get to swim as I had hoped. I couldn't take advantage of the shuttle to other pools, since I was working. - Though I liked the open floor design, it allowed the loud music from the ground floor bar to circulate throughout the lower floors of the building. This was not a big problem, but sometimes disturbed me as I was on the 2nd floor. - On 1 occasion, the staff did not properly note that I paid for my meal since I did not include meals with my stay.

Roof top pool and bar were good. Staff were very friendly. Good-sized rooms with a comfortable bed. It is very close to the back entrance of the Mall of the Emirates

On the 5th floor I could just hear the nightclub in the basement. Staff were too busy at breakfast - it could be hard to get a cup of coffee and you could wait over 5 minutes to have an omelette made. Catching taxis from the street was hard - most people were using the apps Kareem and Uber. Very few taxi drivers knew about the hotel. Couldn't charge drinks/food at the rooftop bar to your room.

I really loved the location, it’s really close to the mall of the emirates where you can find the metro station. What’s more, the staff was PERFECT, Ernest made the best omelets, Karam and Karam and Ryan made exceptional coffees and were very helpful with everything, the philippic waitresses were so cheerful and nice, Mizanour is a clean guy and is very good at housekeeping, etc etc.. I really made beautiful memories in Elite Byblos hotel.

What i HATED was that that the POOL was CLOSED and they didn’t mention that in the booking, when i phoned them and asked about it every day of my stay they always tell me a date and then the pool never opened until we GOT HOME.. i was really excited for the jaccuzi and it was one of the reasons i chose the hotel but they failed to deliver. Furthermore, the spa and massage were so overpriced and we were frustrated that with the various activities of Dubai we couldn’t afford it.

Good sized rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast provided is good.Close to the metro and mall. Good connectivity with the city.Receptionist Ancilla was quite helpful and assited in almost every thing. Gym is also decent.

Pool was under maintenance so could'nt use it. This is not mentioned any where on booking.com. The hotel was providing pool access at nearby hotel with transportation but this is not adequate. They had fixed drop and pick up timings. If the pool is under maintenance, they should provide on demand shuttle to and from nearby Hotel pool. Otherwise guests are forced to either go explore the city or waste their time by adhering to fixed schedule of shuttle provided for pool access.

The location is fantastic. It’s within walking distance to the mall, the metro and restaurants. The rooms are quite large but I wish they were equipped with microwaves. The outlets for American phone connections didn’t work so please have travel adapters ready. The service was exceptional, it felt very homey. I had the breakfast once and it was good. The roof top bar and pool is inviting.

No microwave and room service will only reheat food purchased from the hotel and I didn’t care for food served at the hotel. Also they don’t give wash clothes but didn’t ask so maybe you have to ask for it. The power outlets didn’t work properly and you have to ask for iron and board.
