citymax is becoming like my second home in dubai , whenever i think of going to dubai for a quick visit for 4 or 5 days , i never burden myself with any accommodation issues , i know trustfully Citymax at the mall is the best comfortable place to stay in despite all the heavy traffic and the super crowded situation , it remains the best for me at least coz its less than 1 mn walk to the MOE and super accessible to the Metro and when you have the gold card , nothing will be much easier for transportation , the breakfast is wow -> super varieties of everything and it changes everyday , spacious place to sit and have a nice cozy breakfast ... the staffs are super friendly

Nothing i didnt like at citymax at the mall Barsha area im trying to find a gap , but no im not gonna talk about issues that worth nothing on the scale out of 10 -> i give it 10

(1) The Best about this hotel is the "location" it is a 1-2 minute walk to the Emirates Mall entrance with rich food court and a lot to do. Also, the area is full of local budget restaurants and mini markets that can deliver free to your room on the phone. the same hotel has a modest nice nightclub if you want to chill and know new people underneath your room in case you are lazy sometimes to travel to another neighborhood. (2) Staff are excellent always greet you with a smile and ready to help in a blink of an eye. Especial thanks to the wonderful security staff named "Fredrik" who was far beyond helpful, professional, and friendly. Though don't remember all of the staff names, all of them were excellent. (3) if you seek long stay, They do have rooms with cheaper rates for one month or more. Besides they have hotel apartments on another building on the back street (Not same building) and operate under another name (but same company) called "City Stay"

(1) Me and a friend had a twin bedroom with a back view. All their front view is only a double bed. So, we couldn't enjoy the nice front view. (2) Breakfast was almost the same every day, not tasty, and not worth it. Local exotic budget restaurants around the hotel would be much nicer.

Staff were exceptional in terms of their helpfulness and demeanor. They were always ready to assist and greeted guests with warm smiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. the hotel's location was a major advantage is conveniently situated within walking distance of the Mall of the Emirates and the metro station. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city and access various attractions, shopping opportunities, and transportation options.

my disappointment with the standard room provided as someone traveling with my wife and a 2-year-old baby, the lack of adequate space to store our belongings was a significant inconvenience. The room felt overly cramped, making it challenging to find suitable storage options for our luggage and other personal items.

This is usama from Pakistan this was my first time travelling outside the country and i always wanted to live in a hotel like City Max meet all my requirements Location is so amazing everything is just near by Staff is so friendly and helpful Specially Miss Shashi she’s always been super nice no hidden or extra charges all basic facilities provided inside the hotel I would love to live in citymax again whenever i will travel yo dubai in future thank you citymax you made my day highly recommended

Good location, close to the Mall of Emirates, plenty of shops and eating places nearby. the metro station is a little bit of a walk (though the Mall) but manageable. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were comfortable. There were bottled water and tea/coffee.maker in the room.

We had a room on the third floor and it was a bit noisy from the outside. Overhead shower, that's an absolute nightmare to me.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a party of 11 who had booked 6 rooms for 3 nights. We arrived at around midnight, and reception sorted us quickly and noted that one of our party was in a wheel chair and placed them in a larger room to accommodate them. They arrange for all our luggage to be brought up promptly (which there was a lot of as we had been away 5 weeks) these guys had simles on their faces and the same when left. .The rooms were a reasonable size with adequate facilities. Central to the Emirates Mall and attractions. A good variety at breakfast. A tour guide on site who booked some tours and organised transport for us, he was very knowledgeable, cheap and easy to communicate with.

The location is superb as it is very nearby to eateries and especially Mall of the Emirates. The Hotel is comfortable and staff was great. The ambience is clean and comfortable.

It was rather confusing on its brand, as there was another hotel of the same name within the vicinity. I have almost missed my tours for the past days as the driver got on to the latter. Only when I enquired with the staff, that they said the current one I stayed was with an additional name “by the mall”. That’s really confusing!

The hotel room was clean with everything you need. The staff is friendly, always ready to help. There were always places to swim and sunbathe in the rooftop pool of the hotel. From the roof there is a view of the city, Burj Al Arab is visible. The breakfasts are delicious. The hotel is conveniently located next to the mall of the Emirates from where you can immediately get to the metro.

It's a pity, I couldn't make an appointment for a transfer to the beach. It is necessary to register before breakfast, but there were no seats before breakfast.

We have liked the hotel considering the location in Barsha nearby Emirate Mall (easy shopping) plus free bus for Beach availability. The breakfast we liked. Good choice for family visit or couples as well. Nearby available different types of restaurants. The staf was very kind and excellent. Front officer Ms Preet and front officer assistent Jennifer was very helpful while allocating room for us. Especially Ms Preet allocated very good room side by side for family members. The travel agent in City Max Ms Jaquelene arranged tickets at very reasonable price for Burj Halifa and Future of Museam. The Bell boy Anvar was always helping for extra luggage. Considering price and service offered, Citymax is excellent.

Considering hotseason in summer days It could have been better to arrange the additional free bus to Beach. We had a very less change to visit beach due to absense of afternoon busses.

The hotel is just 5 mins walk to MOE, but to get to the metro you’ll have to walk the at least 8–10mins inside the mall which was hectic every time. But via metro you can go to almost everywhere. At the same time bus station was very near to hotel so you can ride the bus also. Breakfast at hotel was expensive so we tried outside and pretty good options were available for almost half price for 2 people. There were many restaurants within 5 mins walk (Indian, Vietnamese, Arabic). Staff is helpful and very attentive, atmosphere is good too. The hotel is just at the main road, but wasn’t noisy. Good lighting in the room. No weird smell in the room

shower isn’t separate. Toilet area gets flooded every time you bathe. this is the only thing I dislike. rest was fine.
