We were fortunate to have had our room upgraded, thankyou. The view from our floor was amazing. The breakfast was superb, at 12.50 it was real value for money with an exception amount to chose from. Plus having fresh poached eggs on offer hot off the press was amazing, I was afraid that by the time I had made my own toast the eggs would be cold. But served on a hot plate (impressed) they were still nicely warm.

We asked 2 different lovely young people on reception 'what are the 3 top things we should not miss seeing/doing in Aberdeen, being that it's our first visit?'. The young man asked did ask 'what sort of thing we like doing while on holiday' 'Arts, History, Culture good food and good coffee'. 1)Starbucks! {Really!) 2)The castle down the coast, bit of a climb but ( we are in in our 70's! come on) and there is a park right here on the map! WOW! In the morning the young lady answered 'Well there is not a lot to do in Aberdeen really!' WOW! Imagine my thoughts! Some training maybe? However you do have a wonderful Information Centre on Union Street, thank heavens!

The 3rd floor room was on the quiet side of the hotel, overlooking the roof of union square shopping centre so felt very private and wasn't bothered by noise. We flew to Aberdeen on the Friday evening and the airport bus took us directly to Union Square. We had to be up early to catch the train to Perth on Saturday so it was easy to get organised and down to the train station by 6:30 am then returned to Aberdeen in the evening for another nights stay in the hotel. We booked a late checkout for an additional £10 and travelled home by ferry on the Sunday so having the hotel so close to travel points made things so much easier

We were upgraded to an executive suite, this was a nice surprise, the location of the hotel is excellent for us, not far to travel to get to shops, theatre etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms clean, comfortable. The fridge stocked up with water and juice is also a nice touch. The ice machine in the corridors is also a brilliant idea and we used that daily. All in we had a really good stay in your hotel.

The breakfast was nice, nice choice although the bacon was always very hard and sticking together. My husband works offshore on the oil rigs and has visited your Leonardo's in courtyard Dyce and watched the sports channel for the football. So I was a bit dissapointed there is no sports channel in the union square hotel. We do both like to have a drink in the bar and watch the football. If it had the sports channels in the bar this would make your hotel perfect for us. Example sky sports, BT Sports or both. A few of the guests we chatted to did also comment on there being no sports channels.

The location was perfect for a night in Aberdeen before catching ferry home to Orkney. It's great being right in the shopping mall with all the eating places and shops right at hand. The instructions for parking at College Street were very helpful. We didn't know this car park, but with the post code found it easily. The on-line check-in worked well too. The beds were super comfortable and I appreciated having a bath as well as a shower.

We didn't go for the breakfast as there seemed to be limited vegan options and it all felt a bit difficult- your manager helped us with information, but it was expensive for what we wanted, especially with cheaper options close at hand eg Starbucks. Only one criticism of the room, the bedside reading lights were so dim, they need replacing, we couldn't see to read by them at all. Otherwise the room was great.

The team at the reception is very helpful. the location is amazing at union square, the hotel has a direct entrance to the shipping mall and is very close to the train station and car parking garage. Thanks for Jodie from reception for the great help and support during check-in.

The wardrobe is very small on a room for 2 adults and 2 childs, i believe the hotel management needs to consider that in the future.

As usual the staff and room were great. I have stayed there before and am glad to see high standards have been maintained. The hotel is in a perfect location for our needs, as we can get off the train and check in immediately, which is super helpful.

Unfortunately breakfast arrangements on Sunday morning were chaotic, there wasn't enough hot food, what was left was scraps and it was hard to serve yourself eggs with the skillets provided, leading to me picking them up with my hands and burning my fingers. There were no juice glasses at the juice counter either, so we had a quick snack and got something from Costa instead.

Location was superb and very convenient. Next to the train stop. Don’t have to get out of the building from train station to access the hotel. Great customer service. Had to call for toilet paper past midnight, and it was sent right away.

The size for a family room. I just checked out from Hilton’s family room before checking in at Leonardo’s. The door lock. Even if the deadbolt is on, you still could open from the outside. Did not feel very safe. However I like the fact that you need your card to operate the lifts to go up.

I have to say that the location and staff are amazing... the room comfort was really nice and needed after a long day in the office... and a great menu in the restaurant, if not then you have so many choices literally on your doorstep.

I think there can be an improvement to the lift to the street and little more directions posts to the main entrance in the streets... maybe sound proof the windows at the back of the building has the noise is extreme from the shopping centre fans and generator and port....

The location is perfect. We went straight from the train station through Union shopping centre and into the hotel. It was also really handy to take the lift down and come straight out a door onto the street with direct access to Union street. Check in was quick and easy. The room was comfortable and clean. The adjoining shopping centre has everything you could need including a cinema and any type of cuisine you’re in the mood for.

Can’t think of anything

Easy check in, room was clean and fully stocked with tea and coffee etc, hairdryer and iron provided as well.

The only thing I found odd was that in the room the picture above the bed was way off centre no alignment, also the mirror was very misplaced, and a missing night stand on one side of the bed, my biggest pet hate was you needed the card to use the lights,, petty things but I found it odd, still love staying here though.
