The room was lovely very spacious and had very comfortable beds also the pillows were nice and firm which suited myself and my husband, the lady came in every day to make up the room and empty the bin etc, she did a great job. Located was fantastic especially if using public transport and there were lots of bars and cafes all around. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and plentiful.

The only problem we came across was the room had no chest of drawers to put any clothing in so we had to live out of our case but to be honest it was no great hardship.

Room was beautiful and so clean. Lobby lovely. Didn’t realise it was only afternoon teas but meal was meal with it was lovely. Really good location and would say the value for money was great breakfast included but we didn’t make it as the noise of traffic and other guests kept us awake. Then did manage to sleep and got woke up with fire alarm. Can’t fault our room tho was lovely

Noise levels. Doors in hallway sprang back and slammed so kept getting woke up. Fire alarm going off but don’t know have a clue why that happened

Breakfast is excellent, if I was being pcky you should maybe be asked if you want porridge when you're seated as you're tempted to go to the buffet whilst you wait. Staff are very pleasant We upgraded our room and it was well worth the £20 we paid we had room 503. The location is excellent and plenty of places to eat nearby, we went to Suma, just a few yards away and it was very good.

The bar shut at 10.30! We got back from the theatre at 10.20 and got a drink but just got seated when the waiter came and said it was last orders. This was OK for us as we only wanted the one drink but a few people did come in who wanted a nightcap and were obviously disappointed.

It has quirky old world charm, but the rooms and bathrooms have modern comfort. I like that they have space in the bathroom to spread out toiletries and the hangers in the closet are the sturdy regular ones, not the silly kind that one has to hook together. They have good variety at their breakfast buffet. Since I was traveling by train, this was a perfect location for me for a couple of days and there is a huge mall attached to the train station, just across from the Station Hotel.

The route to some rooms is roundabout, but probably when the renovations are finished it will be more direct.

We came to stay for Elton John. The hotel is gorgeous. So central to everything right across from the shopping centre. The room was lovely and spacious and the the en suite came with a bath which was lovely. The bed was amazingly comfortable. In fact best night sleep I had for a long time - and i'm pregnant so that's saying a lot! Thanks for a fab stay at a really low cost

The breakfast was quite pricey so we decided not to go for that and went across the road to the wetherspoons instead - sounds cheeky but it's a money saver. Other than that the only other thing i'd say is the parking is limited - and be careful not to get blocked in as it can be tight spaces! Was actually a challenge getting out the next day

The hotel is beautiful inside. Quite oldy worldly either some modern touches. Our room was amazing and spacious. We had a suite since it was our anniversary! The staircase was amazing and the stained glass windows. Location was perfect for the quaint pubs etc in the Merchant Quarter. Breakfast was really nice too.

We had an evening meal there but was given the table right at the door. We asked to move as the noise from reception was too loud. I couldn't hear my husband never mind have a romantic meal. The food and service was just OK. A beautiful restaurant that should be busy.

Breakfast was great. Lots of variety. Plenty of it. Really enjoyed it. Large room, high ceilings and big bathroom. Shower good and plenty of towels. Friendly, polite and helpful staff throughout hotel. We forgot our jackets (in wardrobe) and staff very helpful the next day. A good value hotel, for one night. Central location great.

Room too hot and could not open windows - but would have been too noisy anyway. No fan in bathroom. Room well used and very tired and in need of a refurbishment as lots of scuffs. Carpet throughout hotel needs replaced. With a little paint and updating it could be a fabulous place. Bar prices very expensive. Small car park at back of hotel could do with space markers being painted - some people's parking was atrocious.

I travelled by train and the train station was convenient located a short 2 minute walk across the road. (The bus station and ferry port are also very close by). Located next to the train station is a shopping centre and a block away is a Tesco mini supermarket. The hotel is a 7 minute walk away from the main street of Aberdeen for visitors and site seeing.

The room was quite comfortable but the only downside was that the curtain rail was just recently installed and the number of the room was still on it and unpainted. While the room and its facilities have been updated from time to time, the bathroom still has the old exposed plumbing and one needs to accept it as part of the furniture. There is also no towel hooks to hang one's towels.

Our room exceeded our expectation. We hoped for a spacious room with efficient air conditioning, a comfortable and quiet nights sleep, a safe, a fridge, a walk in shower with a slip mat, tea and coffee facilities. All of this and we got two comfy chairs and table as well. Full marks to this hotel and only across the road to catch our train.

We returned to our accommodation on our second day to find our key no longer worked to open our door. Tired and hungry we attempted to return to reception but as we were on the top floor and the room attendants were taking the lift to the basement floor and new arrivals were ascending to their rooms we had a frustrating wait to get our key re-instated.

On site parking in the middle of the city (although it was apparently first come first serve), we were lucky! The staff were very friendly, and the food in the restaurant reasonably priced.

Our bathroom had no place to put towels, the kettle in our room had a flex that was very short and we had to place it on the carpet, as it didn’t reach the table. We told staff and an extension lead was provided. We also had to ask for a bedside table for the other side of our double bed. This was provided, and we were told the hotel was in the process of being updated - I was glad to hear this! However, we enjoyed our stay and the issues mentioned weren’t a big problem.
