The Fazeley Inn has had a lot of negative press and I really wasn't sure what to expect however, our room was clean and tidy, it was quiet, there's someone on site at all times, the staff were great and really friendly, breakfast was cheap and plentiful and tasted brilliant. The room was spacious and I would say that if you're looking for somewhere on a budget, this is the place! Stayed for bloodstock which is about a 30 minute taxi ride away and I'm looking forward to our stay next year already!
Couple of minor issues with the room - blind had marks on it but was useable and a black out blind, there wasn't a silver flush button on the toilet but easily sorted and flush was still able to be used, the door handle was a bit loose but could be used and the toilet seat was damaged but useable.

We arrived two hours before the check in time and thankfully this was not an issue as our room was ready. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was as expected. My bed was comfortable, and the shower was good, the room was clean and tidy. They had some live music on the Saturday and the atmosphere was good. The MEGA breakfast on the Sunday morning was top class, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach! The room was without a doubt great value for money.
The room could use a little TLC and the toilet seat was a bit loose, but I did not feel the need to report it.

Our room was a triple room ( 3 single beds). Very big and spacious, we had a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The whole room was clean and tidy. We were 1/2 a mile from Drayton Manor which was why I booked it in the first place, so location was fantastic. We ordered breakfast in the morning (not included in the price), but it was lovely and worth paying for.
Music was on quite loud (live music) until about 23.15 that night, and our room was right above where the singer was. After the singer had finished, normal songs were put on but this seemed to be a bit quieter so we were happy enough to try and get some sleep. Also no kettle in our room, so couldn't make a cuppa but overall very happy with the stay and would definitely go back.

The mel made feel very welcome when arrived there. The room was fantastic and l loved the picture on wall and wallpaper was really nice. I loved the old wooden beam in the ceiling. The bed was really comfortable shower was nice to. There was also wooden beam about the shower. I like things like that. Choice room 23. That's where they are. Apart from that l had a nice stay there. Going again
Not having a tea facilities in room. The dumpster bins was over full rubbish, looked a mess when walking to the beer garden. Not much shower gel neither.

The breakfast was superb & cheap. Complimentary tea & coffee in lounge. Small car park. Room & bed clean, bit of mould in shower
Fazeley Inn is basically a pub for locals so Friday Night at 5pm it was quite full & the juke box started up so loud you couldn't hear yourself think never mind speak. Frances, the manager turned speakers off in lounge/ dining area but still music head banging so sadly we had to find somewhere else to eat. Music turned off at 12.50am so not much sleep. Passage ways need refurbishment.

easy to find, not far from local railway stations so i was able to get to and from very easily on foot to either wilnecote station or a short uber to tamworth station. friendly staff.
honestly, this may be down to the fact we were there for 4 days, but one small bin in the bathroom is a bit of a pain for any snacks or food that were bought. not a major issues though at all, would happily stay again.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind, food was excellent and home cooked. Beds were very comfortable and the Inn was walking distance from Drayton Manor. The walk is do-able, because there are pavements all the way.
A small amount of black mould in the bathroom. Not enough parking spaces in the car park. Car park wasn’t easy to find and location of the car park wasn’t listed on the website.

Booked as we were visiting Drayton Manor the following day - the hotel is actually within walking distance of the park if you wanted to. Nice room, good size. Breakfast looked good value however we had to leave before service started.
I booked the deluxe room but I couldn't tell what was 'deluxe' about it, that said it was still a nice room. Only other thing is it was a Saturday night so there was loud music on in the pub and while my room was at the back so the noise didn't filter down, I got the impression that those rooms closer would be affected by noise - something to bear in mind if visiting as a family

The staff were lovely, the pub had a lovely atmosphere, despite our room being right next to the live music and noisy outdoors it was fine.
The room had a broken mirror, hole in the wall where the handle and been pushed into the wall and the shower was clogged with muck. My husband let them know and they said they had meant to get it fixed. Bed wasn't overly comfortable possibly broken but was so tired didn't care :)

. I would put this in budget hotel. For the money is was excellent. The food was really good and good value. I had curry and it was home cooked and the young man that made it was very pleasant. The breakfast were lovely and nicely cooked. And exceptional value. Going to the room up the stairs the hall looked very tired and the carpet has seen better days. Which daunted me. But the room was spotless and fresh. The bathroom too. Bedlinen and towels and toiletries provided they were lovely. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again if that area. If all you need is a clean bed for the night or two. Its ideal. I would stay again.
No tea and coffee in the room. Although there was a free supply in the bar . Live music on Saturday so be warned. We could hear it through the floor but to be honest it didn't bother us too much and at a reasonable time. But consider that if you have small children.
