The staff were lovely! The location (while far out of central London) is easy with the super close tube and Thames link nearby. Never needed to queue for the shower or toilet. Nice little kitchen hanging out area with Olympics on the TV.

The room I was in had no curtains and the windows needed to be open as it was hot but the road noise was loud in the night - not conducive of a good night's sleep. White the bunks had curtains on the side it didn't stop the sun streaming into mine next to the window. I was in an 8 bed room and was the only woman, I know this can't be helped but didn't always feel so nice. It was a room of snoring slightly smelly men. The showers with the curtain to cover your things isn't ideal but it did the job.

Good staff and well maintained

Timing for kitchen area. Of course you can come and go anytime but kitchen area is restricted for specific time only. Overall nice

Beds, linen, blankets are quite fine, I've not complains about the staff and it is well maintenance. Like staying in one of those wonderful backpackers of the earlies 2000s, but...

..but, now this kind of accommodation are used by nasty people who pinch your pillow or swap your fresh sheets with their used ones. Besides that, they're not respecting sleep times, take all the space and speak loudly at any time. Man, those people should be not allowed to stay no longer than 2 weeks in arrow. I've seen many workers in hostels across England, like Bristol, Cardiff, Oxford, London... and even this could be considerate offensive, the nasty ones were always from south Asia, like India, Pakistan,--- How can you recognise them? listen to the Bollywood's music. Bring some ear plugs.

I loved the free meal on Thursday, that was unexpected. I loved the breakfast for $3 every day, it was nothing special, but it was a good start to my day and it was good for the price. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The decorations of the place were funny and awesome, and I liked that the girls' bathroom had a straightener and a hair dryer. The location was GREAT for easy access to an all-night metro. And I did not have to get an adapter because the bed had USB port for charging my phone.

This isn't so much the place's fault, but the roommates made the experience not very desirable. They were a bit loud and not super respectful, also made the room SMELL BAD!! My bed was clean at arrival, but the room smelled terrible from all the guys staying in there. The pillow was WAY too thin so it caused me to have headaches, and the bathrooms were not cleaned super often it seemed like, so I did not shower there.

Even though the hostel was quite far from the center of London, it had a very convenient location, close to Hendon Central. The staff was super nice and very friendly. The room was big, a bit noisy, and smelled like feet (but I guess that's what you have to expect when you book an 18-bed dorm. Kinda cheap for London, I would recommend it. :)

It was a nice place to stay in. The hostel is surrounded with light residential areas so it was generally quiet and it is also surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops which is convenient whenever I was hungry or if I need something. The facilities such as the bathroom and the kitchen are always kept clean. There's a free breakfast once a week and staff are very approachable and responsive to my questions.

The rate for my 6-night stay is a little too much but I'm not from the UK so maybe that's really the kind of price that one will get for a private bedroom. My least favorite thing about the hostel is the wifi isn't stable to my room so its either I come to the pantry to get a stable connection or switch to my limited mobile data.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is great and the price very budget-friendly. Mattress was very comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless and everything was well-maintained. The closeness to the train station was super convenient.

Unfortunately I was assigned the middle of a triple bunk bed which was very low and the support bars of the bed above mine were quite sharp and I kept hitting them with my head. I would recommend some cushioning because this is quite the safety hazard. The air in my room was also quite stuffy because of poor circulation and smelly because of all the other guests in the room with me. These are certainly only small things but they did make my stay not as pleasant as all the other circumstances and amenities would've made it.

Because of the price I came with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! I stayed there for more than 3 weeks. -amazing value for money, you get what you pay for -space in the kitchen to store food, enough kitchen utensiles to cook -washing machine and dryer worked perfectly fine -working hair dryer in the bathroom, music in the bathroom -water in the showers was always consistent temperatur/hot -staff is amazing and helpful, solved problems and requests quick -right next to an underground station (Hendon Central) and 20-30 minutes from Central London -breakfast is very simple but will do the job if you stay for a few days (when you stay longer you probably make your own) -rentable lockers outside of the room to store suitcases, space for storage under the beds (bring your own padlock!) -pool table in the basement, a game for only 0.2 pounds -curtains on beds, little private reading light and plugs

The negatives were mainly just small things. -some weird people eg. a homeless girl that just came in the room (she memorized the door code) and slept on someone elses bed for a few hours without permisson -Temperature of water is not adjustable, which means the showers are really, really hot and the sink freezing cold -information on website is outdated eg. washing clothes is 5.5 pounds, not 4.5 - The reception is from 8 am until 11 pm instead of 24/7 - the "only 18 to 35 year olds" rule is untrue, there were older people as well -kitchen is small so it can be very crowded quite quickly -the card to enter the front door was full of glue residue so it didn't scan sometimes and I had to try 50 times from different angles, should be cleaned before given to a customer

The staff were extremely welcoming and approachable, especially Nelly who helped me when I was checking out around midnight. The atmosphere in the hostel was very relaxed and easygoing, and the other guests were polite and respectful. The facilities were really good, and I appreciated knowing there is a possibility to wash and iron clothes. I also loved having curtains around the bed (in some other hostels I had stayed in previously, they didn't have those). The location is great too, practically a couple of steps away from the Underground station for a line that goes directly to the city center.

I can't think of anything I absolutely didn't like, because for the price I paid this stay was really amazing, and pretty much exactly what I would have wished for. Maybe the only thing is that it would be great if it was possible to rent padlocks (for storing luggage) instead of buying them, but that's a really small thing.

First things first: this staff is worth its weight in gold! We had a problem in our room and were offered a short-term solution and when a new room became available we were able to change the room. The hostel is extremely good value for money by London standards. The connection to the local transport network is fantastic. We had a really great stay in london and can fully recommend this hostel

The hostel is a bit away from the city centre, but the stop "hendon central" is right outside the door. The showers are a bit chilly for me, but that's complaining on a very high level
