Great location for towns. Very warm welcome on arrival. Liked our own space and privacy. Hosts went extra mile to dry our swimwear after hot tub use and did our washing up. We returned back from day out to dried towels and swimwear and clean plates. Selection of tea,coffee,sugar,sauces and toiletries available which is great if you have forgotten anything . Bathroom also cleaned everyday. Loved the garden and fish ponds.

We had to leave early as we had to get back early for work. Hosts very understanding about this and accommodating.

It was just right for us . lovely hosts and very friendly.The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed . The breakfast we had was presented very well and there was plenty of choice and good value. We had lovely evenings sitting outside with a drink in the lovely garden . Owly Ouse is a wonderful place to stay, really good communications when booking. The Breakfast was excellent with a good selection, you get full sky TV, your own shower, tea and coffee facilities and its easy to relax in the evening plus you have real privacy, the hot tub is really relaxing and the location is close to all of the major amenities. Most importantly the owners are really friendly and accommodating, We will be back :)

Kim & Simone were very welcoming & friendly. The room was cosy & clean, with a mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Great value for money. Close to amenities and easy to walk into town. Very relaxing. We didn't use the hot tub, but i would imagine that would be lovely as their bijou garden is very peaceful.

Personal preference - we'd have prefered a harder bed.

Owly ‘Ouse was one of the best equipped B&Bs I have ever stayed in, and very comfortable - the hosts have tried to think of everything. The accommodation was spotless! I was made to feel very welcome, and the location is very convenient for visiting North Devon.

The accommodation is compact - absolutely fine for my purposes, but a couple staying might find it on the tight side.

Owly 'Ouse is a self-contained garden room behind the owner's property. It is very well equipped with all the necessary and expected facilities for a relaxing stay. The roomy shower cubicle is a welcome plus point. Simonne and Kim, the owners, are very friendly and most eager to assist their guests in any way they can. The accommodation is located in a quiet no-through residential area.Guests are welcome to sit out and enjoy the small tranquil courtyard garden and admire Kim's Koi carp in their large tank! Very therapeutic!!

We opted to accept the owner- provided buffet breakfast, which is laid out in a side building. This worked for us as the weather was dry but might not be so inviting in wet weather. There is no kitchen facility in Owly 'Ouse itself, although a kettle and tea/coffee supplies are provided, and a small fridge to keep food cool. A small table, with all necessary crockery and cutlery, is available in the room for self catering purposes.

Hosts were friendly, wonderful and always made sure we had dry towels and swimwear for the hot tub! Room was clean and very comfortable. Shower was warm and the little garden was very pretty. The space was small and cosy, although not much storage for a suitcase I could fit my medium size one in the corner. Would stay again.

Very comfortable ensuite room with ensuite and private entrance through the garden. The hosts were excellent. Appreciated all the little extra touches. A joy to stay in and would rebook again .

Simonne and Kim are perfect hosts, one immediately feels welcome and at home. The Owly 'Ouse is both comfortable and practical as well as being spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. The continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. A place one hopes to return to.

Beyond anything we expected. The room was amazing and clean. Hosts would do anything for you. An absolute pleasure of a stay in a gorgeous part of the country. Already booked to come back! You won't find better 😊
