Comfortable room regularly cleaned; tasty and rich breakfast menu, very good location - within walking distance to all the treasures Bath has to offer. A special mention for the restaurant staff who helped with moderating the aircon which seemed to be stuck on a really low temperature in the evening, during dinner.

Our room had no view! This was a bit off-putting. Luckily, Bath itself more than made up for this shortcoming. The comfort cooling inside the restaurant, in the evening, was really not comforting at all: much too cold, especially when the temperature outdoors was also low.

The room is very clean and spacious with all amenities. Only complain is the two beds are not of equal size, one is super king and the other is king. Also, we found mattress to be on the hard side. The restaurant breakfast was quite good, more variety in the continental buffet part would be better. Swimming pool very good.

Nothing that was a major problem. There should be options on the cooked breakfast menu for add-on sides. Fo eample to add sausages or bacon when ordering avocado and egg on toast. Tea could be better at breakfast. The twinnings teabags with the hot water from the thermos did not quite work for me.

We had a lovely time during our overnight trip in Bath. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Facilities were well looked after and clean, and the air-conditioning was strong enough to keep us cool during the heatwave (we have a been to a few places that said they had air-conditioning but theirs didn't cool the room enough compared to what they have in this hotel). The hotel is a short walk from the city center and train station, but you can also use the bus or book a taxi if needed. We are definitely going back again the next time we visit Bath! Looking forward to trying other Apex hotels around the UK. 🙂

The hotel is in a great location, a five minute walk from the Roman Baths and close to  shops, restaurants, and other sites around Bath. The railway station is 10 minute walk. The property is modern, spacious and classy. The staff at the reception desk were all delightful, friendly, helpful, and efficient. There is a lovely bar and restaurant too and seating outside undercover which is nice in the evening. Our room was ready on arrival which was a bonus as we arrived early. The room itself was spacious, very clean , nicely, decorated in a modern yet classy style. The bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets. In the room was a large TV, desk with a fold out mirror, stool for luggage, wardrobe, mini fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, hot, chocolate, and biscuits, ironing board and iron and hairdryer. The bathroom was also a good size with a large mirror, toilet , sink, bath and large walk-in shower. Towels were plentiful. A big bonus for us was the pool and spa area with sauna, steam room and relaxation area as well as ice cold shower. Pool slots are bookable which helps ensure the area does not become overcrowded. Changing rooms had showers and lockers and towels are provided as well as hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, body was and lotion. All areas of the hotel were immaculate and good hygiene standards throughout. We felt the hotel offered great value. We were thoroughly impressed and would return again.

We were very impressed with the fact we could get into our room when we arrived early and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The best thing about our stay at the Apex was the wonderful pool, steam and sauna which was very modern and had extra gadgets such as heated marble chairs and water jets. The breakfast was also very impressive, plenty of choice and served promptly. The location is excellent to explore Bath.

We had a problem with our room not being cleaned on the second day. When we came back after lunch it had not been cleaned and even after a reminder it had not been cleaned by 6 0'clock. We were assured that it would be cleaned when we got back from dinner but the only evidence was the bin had been emptied and the beds were left unmade etc. The Manager was very apologetic the next day and gave us some little chocolates as recompense.

The location was fab, only a minute or so walk to get to the centre which was great for breakfast/dinner out etc. The room itself was lovely, nicely decorated, good size with great amenities (tea coffee, biscuits, fresh milk) and bathroom was fabulous with bath and shower.

The room was unbearably warm at times. There must be pipes or something under the floor as it was not a hot day. This would have been okay with the aircon, however despite us turning it on and leaving keycard in, it kept switching itself off. Okay I’m the day, but meant sleep was disrupted due to the temperature rising.

The room had a great big window which looked out over the tops of houses as on 3rd floor. I loved the comfort of the beds and fully cotton bedding with super lovely duvet and pillows. The bathroom was big with Separate shower and bath. Super clean. We had a room for 3 adults so room had 2 large luxury king sized beds. The room seemed very big. Complimentary quality biscuits/ hot choc and coffee. We did not have time for the spa sadly. Great location in central Bath. Have to pay to park at a car park the only downside. I would suggest parking for free further out and use Uber to travel further than the city Centre. Cannot comment on food as did not eat there. I would stay at these hotels again.

They would not allow me to check in 30 mins early from normal check in . Not helpful on the phone.

Very comfortable and clean hotel with beautiful, high quality toiletries, very reasonably priced and generous breakfast and great spa facilities. This place is in a great location too. Staff were pleasant and helpful at every interaction.

Our bathroom door couldn't be closed, as clearly some water damage had blown out the door frame. The doors into the rooms are fire doors (so they're heavy) but don't have soft closes; so you can constantly hear other room doors slamming.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom quite luxurious with a bath and a separate shower. Swimming pool is very clam, with super clean modern changing rooms, it really energised me in the morning! The check in person was professional and polite and we managed to eat after hours in the bar (dessert).

View from the room was dismal, would have asked to move but we literally needed to change and go to an appointment. No kippers or Haddock at breakfast, so as an non egg eater it was very disappointing for the price of the breakfasts I would have eaten somewhere else at the train station if I had known when I pre-paid.

Excellent location, recommended car park for overnight stay is expensive (£17.10 per night), great facilities, really good value breakfast (make sure you ask for a breakfast menu), plenty of staff on check-in, very comfortable bed and great black out curtains

The pool was advertised as no under 16’s after 7:30pm which is specifically why we booked our slot at 8pm. Annoyingly there we 2 children (est. 4yrs & 7yrs) who were screeching & screaming, barging into people, jumping into people in front of them who were trying to swim & the mother and grandmother did nothing to stop this. There were no staff checks or staff to speak to and it really ruined our experience of the pool & spa which we were looking forward to after a long working week. We have children ourselves and would expect the hotel to enforce the adult only swim times .
