Apart from raucous guests in the bar area, the hotel was lovely and quiet and the garden outlook beautiful. We found the staff so helpful and willing to help. Our room was spacious and clean.

We didn’t like the fact that when the function room was in use we were unable to walk directly to our room, instead we had to enter or exit via going all the way upstairs and round the corridors to get to our room. If we had been unable to climb stairs or walk far then it would have been difficult. The food both in the evening and at breakfast was really mediocre. Rather untidy corridors due to various items being left in the way.

It's a fine place for a few nights, but out of the way but the staff were good (needed more staff) On one night I was kept awake till 1am by the infernal musak in the reception, but they had fixed this by the next stay, Food was above average as was the wine. They gave me reduction for the Musak at night, thanks. Parking good.

Musak in reception, Bar looks a bit like it was being decorated on one occassion. for me a nice addition would be an EV charge point nd a bigger menu. One one visit there was no fish and chips left at 8.30, but the food was, as stated above average, so the alternative was good,

The hotel is a beautiful old building. It has several areas for parking & there are lawned gardens with games to play.My room was at the back looking out over a lawn,so nice & quiet. The corridor was quiet too-no people going past noisily! The door was away from the bed-I hate it when light from the hallway comes through under the door.

My towels were a little bit musty. There was a cobweb behind the bedside table where I plugged in the lamp.Only one complimentary biscuit & one bottle of water.

We had the (cottage),4 rooms apart from the main building so it was very quiet and felt newly refurbished with an outstanding large bathroom which was a lot warmer than the bedroom.

The bedroom was a bit cool with only a portable oil filled radiator if it got really cold. In winter one would hope for the main radiator to work. There was no double glazing. Overall it suited us on the warmish night we were there but on a cold night it might have become very cold. Of course we could retire to the lovely warm bathroom but that had no bed in it!

Big room, clean, lovely location, great staff, lovely breakfast, historical building, beautiful gardens.

The bed was too small for the room, bigger bed would be better in a deluxe room. Could do with a small cabinet or a surface for the toiletries near the sink in the bathroom, there no where to put makeup. A small side cabinet would do the trick. A small chair in the bathroom would be nice too. Also would be nice to have a mirror in the room.

I loved my stay at Moggerhanger Park and will definitely stay there again - It is an old historic building, a small stately home with ample history. It has a lot of grounds, beautiful trees, a woodland walk, a cafe, a museum of its history, and even a lovely walled garden! And excellent parking. If you stay here, you are allowed to wander round the old house and really you get so much more for your money than a usual Bed and Breakfast. It also now has an in house restaurant which serves simple meals in the evening which I found useful. My room was quirky and flushing the loo took patience (Due to the historic nature of the house), but my room was lovely and I love all the old antique furniture both in my room and round the house. Breakfast was good and served in a lovely room. All in all - I think this is great value for money, and I will definitely stay here again. Staff are all very helpful and friendly as well. Jacky from Norwich.

nothing for the value for money - rooms are quirky but pleasant, don't expect too modern.

This is a fantastic building set in nice grounds, relatively close to Bedford station. The rooms were large and very clean and comfortable, I had a great view across the grounds from my room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room has all the amenities you need..

My only critique is that the rooms were a bit warm without any air conditioning. This would not change the great hotel, installation may not be appropriate for such a lovely place..

Staff very friendly car parking very good, great bar and seating area Room was massive and beds very comfortable and firm. Lovely relaxing view.

Room service for breakfast was quick, no knife and fork, some of it was cold, to be fair they had a lot going on (wedding etc), so if they're busy you need to go down to breakfast, as room service may be a bit hit and miss. If you have any disability or injury issues, accessing the toilet and shower will be problematic, toilet is low and shower is in the bath, so ask for room with disabled access. No lift, disabled access is limited in the main building.

Considering we got one of the cheapest rooms available, we didn't expect much from the room and were fine with that. But the room was outstanding! Lovely comfy bed, tea making facilities, and gorgeous, big, clean bathroom. And the staff were exceptional, always lovely and accomodating, even giving us plates and cutlery for some food we brought back with us! Couldn't have been a better stay for a birthday treat! 😁

Very pleasant and helpful staff and a comfortable and clean room in an interesting and well maintained old manor house. I took the package that included dinner and breakfast and felt that this represented very good value.

The dinner menu in the restaurant was a little limited in terms of choice and the portions were not over generous. However, the food was well presented and tasty. Breakfast was more plentiful with good choices available.
