The hotel accommodation was very good, very clean and comfy bed and linen. Large TV and the AC was excellent it kept the room cold and it was quiet. We stayed 2 nights for my sister's wedding and for the price it was very reasonable. It was a bit of shame that breakfast wasnt included in the booking but where you are above a wetherspoons you can just go down to the restaurant for food all day. Hotel staff very nice and helpful we would stay again 😊

There were only 2 negatives really, the first isnt really the hotel's fault but the area is not very nice, its definitely a bit rough and the road we were on was having lots of roadworks. No parking at the hotel is a shame as well so we had to park on a residential road and pay meter. The 2nd issue was the bar staff downstairs were not the friendliest but I imagine they were a bit overworked being the weekend. But they were a bit unhappy looking and didn't really want to check if the food was ok or anything. The hotel staff were lovely though and got us an iron and ironing board as we didn't have one and got us extra water bottles.

Good central location. Lovely large accessible room. Nice table & comfortable chairs in bedroom. Everything we needed except a luggage table / rack. Firm comfortable beds & decent pillows. Wet room with walk-in shower, high toilet. 2 beautiful large bay windows & window seats in our room with secondary glazing to keep noise out. Decent air conditioning.

No direct carpark but public ones about 600 metre walk away. No luggage rack for suitcase. Daylight & street light shone into bedroom above curtains. No shelves in bathroom. As it was an accessible room, & we didn’t need it, the sink was too low.

A very surprising hotel. I needed a quick overnight stay and was a little unsure about picking a Wetherspoons, but found myself very pleasantly surprised. Great easy check-in and warm welcome, reception well decorated and good key entry security. The room was very clean, with a nice large shower and a comfortable bed and the room had everything I needed. Everything was maintained to a good standard and being above a Wetherspoons, I had a very pleasant and cost-effective evening meal. The staff were all great, lots of hot water and free toiletries were of decent quality. Far more than just a pub with cheap beer, a seriously decent room at a reasonable price. Very happy to stay again.

As it's a town centre location, there is a little traffic noise, but windows are fully double (might even be triple) glazed, so it's minimal.

We loved our room thr bed was very comfprtabwl and spot clean . Tea n coffee kettle provided the shower was roomh and very Nice . On the ground floor the pub was located with a big variert of food and kitchen open until 11pm for dinner excellent prices and affordable . Excellent breakfast in the pub . Let me mention that the hotel rooms have secured entrance and separated from the pub

We didn’t like that the reception was not constantly someone there and we didn’t like that for safety reasons . We didn’t like the area in Bedford or Bedford in general we stayed tk the hotel on our way to Milton Keynes

Beautifully decorated, clean large modern room and beautiful bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Loved that there were decaf tea/coffee options.

Family room booked with request to set up sofa bed but upon arrival this had not been made up. Luckily we were out in the evening so when we returned it had been done. Lift was temperamental and we had trouble getting down to the ground floor, it kept sticking at 1st floor and going back up again. Sofa bed was not very comfortable. The light switches in the room were a little confusing, couldn't work out how to switch on side lamps at first.

Very clean, spacious room. Large tv, air con which was amazing as the weekend we stayed the weather was between 27 - 29 degrees. Large comfy bed with spare pillows if needed. Black-out curtains. Very quiet room in central location. Staff are a credit to the hotel. All very cheerful and helpful. We parked in a council carpark which was only £7.50 for a 24 hrs stay and free on Sundays. It was about a 2-3 walk away. Wetherspoons pub was downstairs so we had a very good, reasonably priced breakfast there. Would absolutely recommend! 👍

Couldn’t think of a thing not to like.

Thos Hotel is a little hidden gem for the price, not sure what you would normally expect from a Wetherspoons hotel, but you'll be pleasantly surprised. There's a good feel of quality once you get in the room. Good size, really well appointed, comfortable and clean. It's not exactly in the nicest area of Bedford, but once you've closed the triple glazing, it's nice and quiet too. Excellent value for money.

Bearing in mind the location, you're not going to get the best view from the window, but for the price, you definitely can't moan about it. Saying that, it's a 2 minute walk from the hotel to the pretty river and the Riverside Quarter with nice bars and restaurants.

Central. Well laid out. Clean room. Comfortable bed and a good shower.

The cold cooked breakfast. Served on a cold plate. Was told this was because it was a “small plate used for children, therefore it wasn’t hot!”Whilst I get this, there were no children in the bar area at the time. The order was clearly for ‘the adult who ordered it’ (both my friend and myself). The plates could easily have been warmed … popped in hot water or even the microwave for a minute? I have to add though that everything was cooked well and the breakfast itself was nice and good value … just a pity about the temperature.

It was clean, well painted, with extra pillows. Excellent water pressure on the shower is one of the best I have come across here or overseas. I am disabled so great that there is a small lift.

The biggest thing by far is the climate control panel, it is summer, and there is a very very very small window so of no use other than people using it to throw out cigarettes buts. The room and hotel in general hallways were hot. I slept on top of the bed for two nights with no covers no need to make the bed but I was dripping in sweat. Did get the climate control working a bit on the second day but it was not simple and does not work well on presets on hot days. Big post in the room and roof eves take up a third of the room and I hit my head. If you are tall sleep on the other side of the bed.

Location was great and eating breakfast and dinner on the ground floor of the building. Reception team friendly.

What I did not like was that the electric went out at 10.20am (40 minutes before I needed to check out and was unable to iron my clothes). So had to leave room and check out early. Hope this is fixed next time please. Also, be nice to have a mini shelve in shower to hold guests shampoo and own body gels etc. Also, be good to see a portable rail in room to hold towels on near bath. Had to pull up a chair to the bath to hang the towels on instead. Thank you.
