Absolutely amazing staff. Cannot fault this little hotel on anything. Service and cleanliness are the top priorities thats evident. The food was lovely. Great selection and choices. Rooms are immaculate. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Highly recommended. I attended a residential course but will definitely choose this hotel if I need to be in the area again in the future. Thanks to all the staff for making my stay comfortable and for the help and support when I wasn't well throughout the week.

The door keys.

Check in is manned 24 hrs. We got a real room key - so no faffing about with a swipe card that doesn't work ( like some of the big chains I have stayed in ). I asked for a ground floor room and that's what we got. Spotlessly clean, plenty of clothes storage space. Breakfast was paid for separately with wide selection where items were priced individually. Big selection of cooked breakfast items. I also liked that we had plenty of milk sachets in our room as well as the option of decaf coffee.

spotlessly clean. Quiet, very comfortable. staff were friendly and polite. The shower was powerful and the towels were soft, a proper bath sheet rather than a small bath towel. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was high quality. the breakfast had plenty of choice, and the on site restaurant was excellent value for money.

The directions were confusing. The postcode on my satnav took me to the middle of a country lane and I found the location by luck!

Bed was comfy and shower was brilliant. Lovely and quiet although guests letting doors slam lay at night was particularly frustrating.

The food menu was a little restricted i.e Curry Night but food was good value for money. TV is very small and not great picture quality

Everything is excellent although the location is a bit remote. Parking, reception, public areas, landings and hallways, and room way,way, beyond expectations and would rate delightful. No background music or noise. Convenience store 2 mins walk away. Fuel station 1 min drive. Civilised, polite, competent staff, cleanliness, and extraordinary value make this place the standard that the UK should be aiming for in hotel accomodation at any level.

There is nothing whatsoever about Mitchell Hall that you could criticise or not like. The superb bathroom didn't have an extractor fan. A fresh air aerosol would be good. A room fridge would be good but use electricity and increase cost, and the cafe/restaurant has everything needed. Honestly close to faultless!

room was very nice, clean, tidy bathroom was lovely and clean, quite spacious, ample wardrobe space. so overall I was very happy with the room the breakfast was lovely, lovley choice to pick from. fresh, well cooked

ONLY problem and it wasnt really their fault we could have done with air con in the room as we came down on the hot weekend 12/13 Aug where temp was 40degrees plus they did have a fan in the room which wasnt fantastic, and the windows only opened a couple of inches which didnt let any or much air flow in. As I said though, that temp range was not their fault.

Location good nice to have a small supermarket 2 mins down the road (on foot ) Bed comfy ,room nice and clean ,parking just outside Breakfast excellent Staff friendly and very helpful

It was a bit noisy in the wee small hours of the morning ,people coming back from being out (students? I’m not sure ) and standing about having chatting and laughing ,woke us up on one night

The staff was very friendly made us feel welcome ,the breakfast was fresh and lots to choose from, the room was very clean and the location was good for us ,we had a pleasant stay .

The doors bang to hard we was woken up early with people banging doors ,I have difficult with my mobility would of been good with grab rail in shower,bedside light switch connection loose ,

Stayed at the venue for a family party and was very impressed with the overall staff and food. Buffet for the party was lovely and breakfast was perfect. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. The whole venue was clean and very well maintained

The beds in the room were not the most comfortable and the shower was little more that a trickle! Also the Wi-Fi was pretty poor throughout the venue so I gave up with it!

The staf were very friendly & helpful throughout, the room & en-suite was very clean, and the the beds was very comfortable. After reading some reviews I wasn't sure about the hotel but it was better than I was expecting.

The restaurant could do with more restaurant like furniture for guest, but I understand why it's not. But the food was gorgeous, I had an evening meal & breakfast.
