Beautiful hotel. Rooms very clean and decoration up to date. Facilities in the room were very good with water, juice, cereal bars, coffee machine, tea coffee / biscuits. Shower great. It was in a block of 7 and you could go outside and have morning coffee on the benches. Staff very friendly. Stay include a complimentary drink in the bar which was a nice touch.

Its a shame that the hotel do not offer breakfast, however many items provided in room to compensate. Suggest offering breakfast in the future even if it is a pre book and at a certain time as there are only 7 rooms.

The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated Free onsite parking and wifi Good shower (although one of the shower heads leaked) Tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits, cold drinks provided Very quiet at night and even though there was an afternoon party going on at the pub when we arrived, you could hardly hear anything when the door was closed. Pleasant, helpful staff

Very little hanging space (see pic). We were only there for one night so not a problem but for a longer stay there was very little room for clothes.

I have stayed at this property in the past and would do it again in the future. Lovely comfortable rooms outside, and very quiet on a week days. Only 7 rooms in total but all well decorated and clean. I like the fact that a breakfast of porridge, orange juice and biscuits is available in the room as a cooked breakfast is not.

Remember that the pub is not open Monday and Tuesday for dinner, I forgot this re the Tuesday night however alternative options were available - a few local pubs, local take aways and the village has a local store with sandwiches, pastries, salads and drinks available.

Everything in the room was top quality and no corners had been cut. The room was very clean and the bathroom facilities were excellent from the size of the shower to the high end shower gels and body lotion provided The staff were very friendly and helpful and could not have done any more for us. The owners had obviously taken a lot of thought when decorating the rooms as the decor and furnishings were high class and very tasteful. The hospitality pack provided was excellent and the porridge, cereal bars,biscuits and choices of tea and coffee facilities were very welcome. It's only a small thing but even the kettle and coffee machine provided were not cheap items but we'll known nice quality makes. We liked everything about our stay

Really enjoyed our stay and was really surprised at the quality of the place. The facilities were great and the staff booking us in were really friendly. Despite it being -2 outside the place was very cosy and we couldn't hear anything outside or even the pub that's close by. The complimentary teas and snacks were really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the area and I will also be returning.

I think we had an accessibility room ( which i was all fine) but when showering the water overflowed outside of the shower area. My only suggestion would be to provide a squeezy or mop to guests so that they can clean up the water that goes all over the bathroom floor.

Great place to stay - I would recommend it with friendly staff and quick/easy check-in. I was worried that the rooms were above the pub/restaurant but they are in bungalows on the side of the garden, so all very quiet and nice and with easy access to parking.

Breakfast would have been great, but they provided some excellent alternatives (snacks, orange juice, tea/coffee and ready-made porridge) so in the end it wasn't necessary.

I like the property so much I have already stayed a few times! The owner is a wonderful lady and staff all polite and helpful. The food is lovely and rooms very cozy, clean and comfortable. The beds and bed linens very comfy for a good nights sleep. Unfortunately they are not cooking on a Monday at the moment however a nice two mile walk and your in a local village with a choice of restaurants. If the restaurant was open it would be my first choice every time as the food is delicious with a lovely atmosphere.

Very happy with my stay at this public house, the rooms are in the garden of the property so I’m guessing on the weekend it could be loud in the evening but I stayed in the week and it was very peaceful and quiet. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable, even for someone with a bad back. I liked the extra additional extras in the room, as at the time there was no breakfast available. The staff at the property were very helpful and polite. The meal was lovely and they tailored it to my specific request rather than stick to the menu 100%, not a lot of places offer to be as helpful as this.

Unfortunately I’m trying to get a copy of the invoice, it would be good if it could be posted under the door in the morning so that you don’t have to chase for it but not everyone would need an invoice so only a suggestion for business travellers.

Greeted by very friendly staff, drink upon arrival. Bar and restaurant have been decorated to an amazing standard. I travel most weeks and seem to spend most of my time in hotels, this one however, is probably the best room I’ve ever stayed in. High quality decor with a modern twist. Finished to a very high standard.

no issues with the properly. slightly difficult to lock the room when you leave due to key card. figured it out but came back late to find a gentleman really struggling to get into his room so had to help
