Great area to stay and stop at especially if you’re travelling a long journey either to or from home. We stayed here to break up a long distance drive. Great to recover and use the spa facilities. Clean and tidy :)

I ordered a breakfast in the morning before I left which I waited a hour for and then was told the waitress got it mixed up and thought I was paying for a breakfast I had already had. This wasn’t ideal however they were very apologetic and provided me with a refund and took one breakfast off the bill. The waitress was a lovely lady we can all make mistakes I guess.

Dinner was good but pricey. We only had one course.

The waitress was more concerned with a big party she had in. We were left as an afterthought! Breakfast was disgusting. Fruit was a good choice but the pineapple was dry and the centre, core, had not been removed. Cooked breakfast was not hot, only just warm, scrambled egg looked black underneath (not burnt). My friend took a photo of it and we complained at reception. Price of breakfast was taken off our bill. Waitress was clearing away before people had finished. If you went to get a coffee, leaving food on the table, it was cleared away. Toasted bread had to go through two or three times to get it brown. Breakfast was £16.00 per person. I repeat. Disgusting!

I took my young daughter to the hotel for a wee treat. We loved the room with a great big bed and plenty of space. The room was clean with facilities good. We used the pool several times and it was clean. The only disappointing think about the trip was the dinner menu. We are both vegan and although there were several option, I felt it was expensive. My daughter had a child sized vegan spaghetti which was ok (a bit under seasoned) and I had the vegan Wellington which was pretty poor (even the boiled potatoes didn't taste nice)...all for £18.50 which is ridiculously over priced for a vegetable dish!! I would not eat dinner there again. Our vegan options for breakfast were reasonable with lots of fruit and non dairy milk for cereal (plant based yoghurt world be good). I had vegan soya sausages (which were chewy and over cooked) with some beans and toast. Only after speaking to the chef was I told I could have asked for mushrooms (the waiting staff needed to suggest this when I said I was vegan). Otherwise a lovely stay.

Didn't enjoy the vegan dinner and which didn't taste good and it was really expensive for what it was. Vegan options for breakfast could be better.

The location was great for where I needed to be. The staff were very friendly and made you fell welcome.

The cleanliness in the restaurant was a little below par.

Staff were lovely. Katie and her Mum Sue were very friendly and welcoming. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean. Meal was delicious in the restaurant and breakfast was lovely also. Restaurant menu isn't cheap but it's a nice calming classy setting so you get what you pay for. Too pricey for me to be doing as much as I'd like to. Will definitely be back and will be bringing my daughters and my mother as would be a nice girls overnight stay aswell as for couples.

Unfortunately there was a fair amount of noise from the people in the neighbouring room and felt like they were sharing the room with us, however we used earplugs I had from home and had an amazing sleep. Won't stop us booking again

i would like to thank the lady who cleaned our room. she was lovely. as the bed was a bit hard she got us another mattress topper. she also engaged in conversation and found out it was my 60th birthday. and my 35th anniversary. she told house keeping. who provided us with a bottle of fizz. they where so nice.

Good location and plenty of parking. The room was warm and bed was comfortable. We were offered complimentary cookies on arrival. We had a self service breakfast in the morning with plenty on offer. The swimming pool was lovely and a nice temperature. Enjoyed the jacuzzi too. Didn't go to the gym.

I didn't overly like the decor walking to my room on the first floor. It was a brick wall effect as if you were outside and the carpet didn't go with it.

The staff were very polite and friendly upon arrival, the room was clean and exceeded my expectations as well as being very comfortable and quiet. My partner and I both had dinner from the restaurant which was excellent and very tasty and if requested can be delivered to your room if you prefer.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my stay what so ever everything was absolutely perfect for both my partner and I will be staying again happily

Very nice hotel facilities were very good and the staff were excellent.

Parts of the room were disappointing, the floating toilet bowl was severely cracked and needs replacing before it causes injury. The small heater in the main room isn’t working well and would struggle to keep the room warm. the view out of the window was ok apart from the hotels yard that was very untidy and unkept.

Clean, comfortable hotel and had been recently refurbished (in my opinion) Pool great but still under going refurb. Food was ok, although I only had lunch, however breakfast was very good and nice choice. Conference in the evening and very impressed with the hotels set up and only stayed for the one night. Yes, definitely recommend.

None from me, just wish I could have had an extra night or two!
