The whole ambience of the hotel and the exceptional ,helpful, friendly and cheery staff was an experience very worthy of top marks in our estimations. The food was evidently freshly prepared and tasted delicious and once again an applause to the waiting staff for being so informative and attentive. The owners should be proud of all their staff at the Dakota at Eurocentral, Motherwell as they deliver an excellent standard of customer care and hospitality.

Perfection doesn't exist and like all other hotels one can expect a chip on the paintwork, a broken blind cord and perhaps a stain on a carpet if being microscopic but overall there was nothing we didn't like or worth having a rant about

This is a very comfortable stylish hotel and we were made to feel very welcome by staff. It felt very cosy on a cold winter’s night and it was incredibly reasonable for the room and for the delicious meal we had. The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious. We were there for a very quick stay and would have liked a bit more time to just chill in the comfy reception area with the roaring fire and relaxed surroundings.

The only things I would comment on was the dining options and the shower. I was with my son and we both just wanted to grab something quick and light to snack on as we arrived around 8pm but there was no bar food and only option was to dine in the restaurant (or room service but we couldn’t find a menu for that and we didn’t really want to hide away in our room). The meal was exceptionally lovely but we were tired and it all just felt a bit too grand for what we needed. Not a complaint as such because we were looked after very well and it was our decision to try the restaurant rather than opting for room service. The actual shower was lovely but it was an accessible bathroom and the floor seemed to take some time to drain away which was just a bit fidgety.

Very easy to get to. Large car park. Just had to enter number plate at reception. We had 3 double rooms. 2 of them were connected which was great. The rooms are big and connecting them together made it great for the kids. Ensuite were decent size as well. The single beds were small doubles and the double was king I think. We spent the day looking around Glasgow. Night here. Didn't try the restaurant etc. Thank you for a good stay.

Some of the features had started to age and the repair work is not to the same standard

I like the lay out of the room and the space within it. It had everything we needed and we didn’t feel like we were tip-toeing around each other when walking around the room. The style of decor was lovely and the quality of the linen was brilliant.

If I was to be really picky I would say that room service closing before 10pm was a bit disappointing as we always like to order some room service after a night out. However, this didn’t impact our stay as we got food delivered from a local takeaway! If that were not to be an option, it still wouldn’t have impacted our impression of this beautiful hotel since the quality of the room and service was excellent!

Lovely looking hotel close to motorway good parking. Good value hotel.

Stayed in many hotels over the years but never needed to pay £50 upon checking incase we wanted any extras!. Hotel debits you £50 on your card as a sale then refunds a few days later if you havent had any extras. But upon check out reception staff tried saying we had had two breakfasts which we had not. But no apology from reception she said she would investigate it. Didn't impress us on check out to be honest

There was a problem accessing any of the TV channels. Rang down to reception and the matter was dealt with quickly and we were supplied with a new remote. I also loved the comfy armchair in the room and the shower

Maybe I'm simply not used to it but the mood lighting was a little too low and I wasn't too keen on the thick heavy curtains drawn across the front door.

The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean and nice, comfortable bed. Decor was beautiful. Staff were lovely and friendly and the food and drink were delicious.

The hotel was a bit out of the way if you want to go out. I was disappointed there was no fridge in the room, which meant the water that was provided was hot. Also, small touches, like no welcome in your room or details about room service or a room service menu. I had to ask at reception for this.

Great location for us to visit family as that was our main reason for the stay. Hotel well fitted out with a real boutique look and feel to it, nit what you expect from the modern exterior (although having stayed in the Dokota sister hotel in Glasgow we did have an ideal what to expect) Staff were all very friendly and welcoming (reception and bar staff) Rooms well appointed and comfortable and all what you would expect of the brand Food was also very good quality (we had breakfast and evening meal in the Grill restaurant)

Bed mattress was a little softer than would have liked but this is a personal opinion Whilst overall the service was good we did feel that during our evening meal we were a little ignored at times possibly due to the positioning off our table, don't place an ice bucket with our wine out of reach of us if we need to keep getting up to refill our glasses.

Lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome by staff. The food we had for our evening meal was exceptional.

I asked if the Tesla chargers were open to other makes of vehicles and told at reception on arrival that they were for Teslas only. After researching I found that they were open to all makes of EV. We were very disappointed to be told there was a 30 to 40 minute wait for a breakfast table when we arrived at 08:00 and ended up having breakfast at a local Starbucks! You are not able to reserve a time slot for breakfast.

So chill and relaxed inside

There is a Dakota in Glasgow we booked the wrong one for dinner & they said it happens often , maybe they should ask for booking reference to make sure your in the right hotel first that would Maybe save some disappointment, they managed to serve us in the bar area which was appreciated but then would only give us bar menu which was nice but would rather a proper dining menu , we really wanted some nice steak but I guess it was our fault for booking wrong hotel. Definitely double check your in the right one when booking dinner x
