The Windmill is so nice and in such an ideal location for a good night out. The Inn itself was warm and had a really nice feel about it. We had a room above the pub which was great, it was small but that was not a problem we only needed somewhere to sleep. The room had everything we needed a kettle for tea or coffee a small bathroom with a shower cubical and somewhere to hang your clothes. The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated the bed was fresh and clean did seem a little on the small side for a double and was very soft too soft for us but that is our preference they cannot cater for everyone. The room was right above the kitchens which made it very warm even without the radiator on. We returned around 12am and had no issues with noise and the pub had closed so all good. Breakfast the next morning was good, plenty of options and great service from the waitress. Over all we had a really great stay.

Bed a bit soft and to warm but not a complaint.

Super value, lovely staff, and a lot more cosy and smart than I expected for the price (and some of the reviews reviews). Super clean, comfy beds, and ideal central location. Breakfast included in the price was an enormous plus - cereal, fruit and yoghurt, vpjant based milk if you wanted it, fruit juice and choice of full English or something lighter like eggs or toast. Staff were great about making what wanted. I don't know where the poorer reviews are coming from because this had more trimmings than the likes of the budget chain motels. Fresh towels daily I get ths impression the owners are really making an effort in spite of the reasonable price

No food available in adjoining pub in the evening, although plenty of places to eat nearby. I was upstairs the annexe and there was a bit of food smell from the takeaway next door at night, but nothing bad at all. The layout of the annexe (open to the elements) doesn't look promising, but the room was lovely once inside. We were there midweek, so not sure about noise on weekends. Bathroom only slightly dated but spotless.

A quaint, old building, brought up to modern day spec. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room (18) was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and set us up nicely for the day. The price was good value for money. The location was excellent.

We were led to believe the parking was £5.70, but it ended up costing £12. Admittedly, this is not a great amount of money, but it's more than double what we were expecting to pay. There is a constant pulsating thump 24/7, coming from outside. We could hear it with the windows closed and the TV on. It made getting to sleep difficult. To be fair, staff did offer to change rooms, but we'd already unpacked by then.

This place is just off the high street. The accommodation block is to the side of the pub, so there is no noise from the pub itself. The bed is comfortable, and the room is well presented. No parking available, but there is a public car park across the road - Grayburn.. Make sure you find the long stay section. Breakfast was nice, and they were happy to provide me with vegetarian food and oat milk.

Mostly really good but there is a constant thrumming noise from ? Machinery outside which I was aware of. The walls between rooms are a bit thin and not really soundproofed. The long stay car park section at Grayburn Rd was very busy. A good alternative is School lane,.still close to the town.

Location with central parking was easy. Car Park was across the road to where we stopped. Room was clean spotless has all the facilities needed warm breakfast was a full English also included different varieties of cereals, yoghurts pastries tea and coffee limitless included in all this was toast as well the location Was also central for the town. You walked down a small alleyway right into the centre of the shops to the left was the cathedral to the right was the town Square with a small market. Plenty to look at and say a great day to explore Beverly would stop there again , without hesitation staff were very pleasant and for everything we needed, thank you so muchn

Lovely Public house right in the town centre. The outside area was well stocked with outdoor seating ,tables and plenty of summer colour from all the bedding plants .Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice English breakfast with plenty of choice, cereal, fruit juices etc.The public bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable if not a little small but ideal for a casual stay over. Well stocked with tea / coffee making facilities. The room also boasted tv/iron/ironing board/hairdryer and other items.

Nothing in particular.

Staff were absolutely lovely. Very welcoming. Fab breakfast and staff asked and catered for allergies. Room was small but comfortable and very quiet. Very grateful for the fan provided as we visited during a heatwave. Great location in the centre and easy to explore the local area. Would stay again.

Bathroom a little tired and kettle needed a good clean but you can always get drinks at the bar, it wasn't a problem. If you have mobility issues, be aware there is stair access to rooms and parking wasn't possible by the hotel so we paid to park a short distance away.

This is a really cute bussling little pub tucked out of the way. Didnt expect 5 star accommodatuon as its only a b&b noy a posh hotel. Lovely little room, room above us had rather creeky floors and whoever stayed in that room seemed to be walking a marathon all night long!! Bed was ok, had a mattress topper on which had a hard crease which lined my full body but other than that a tidy little place. Could do with a little update but overall clean and isnt that whats more important. Pub was lovely and we stayed for a few drinks breakfast was nice. Great stay. Cute place.

Bed could have been better/bigger. Mattress topper needed replacing. Towels were a little hard, toilet seat wouldnt stay up and there wasnt much space between the toilet and door to bathroom but that didnt bother me at all.

Everything is home cooked to order & all requests even off menu are done without any argument. It's all about visitor comfort & the lady who does the cooking is excellent. It's all fresh bar the tomatoes which are tinned & quality fresh home made with lots of cereal, fruit, juices etc choices . You really couldn't get better anywhere so I rate it any easy 11 / 10. Lashings of hot drinks anytime with ample supplies in the rooms. I'd run out as I arrived late & needed a brew & when I asked for more supplies was given.enough to.last the whole of my stay. They even provided me with a brew to take on the train journey homewith no extra charge. All my bags were carried upstairs on arrival then back down & loaded into a taxi I'd booked to return to the station. If you like a drink the bars as friendly as you'd find anywhere. I was shown a brand of cider I've not tried before & it was so good I'm now going to have to try to find it locally!! As a lone traveller I was shown nothing but kindness throughout my stay & will have no hesitation in returning to the Windmill B&B or recommending it to friends.

Nothing

Very well situated, just down an alleyway from Beverley centre, rooms were clean and comfortable with adequate tea & coffee making facilities, extra tea bags were supplied without question from behind the bar. The shower was very good, nice and hot and good pressure. The pub itself was nice and welcoming with a good atmosphere and there is a small courtyard beer garden to sit outside if the weather allows. Full English breakfast with cereals, egg on toast etc if the full English is not to your liking. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked again to go in December.

The shower silicone sealant had the usual black mould on it, it wouldn’t take much to give it a couple of squirts with a mould remover to clean it off or reduce the amount.
