I loved my room which was large and had a good view of the street. It was large enough for 2 adults and 2 children so I had plenty of room to spread out. Also liked that it came with a small but well-designed ensuite.

The biggest problem was that the room did NOT have a safe. So I was obliged to carry all of my valuables around with me. The second biggest problem was that you accessed the room by an old-fashioned key rather than a card. Given that the rooms sat on top of a pub with a lot of people coming and going this was a real problem. The last thing was that the mirror in the bathroom was too small and hung too high to be of any use to me. I am 5 ft 5 so not short, but it was obviously hung up by a 6 foot man.

Room was very comfortable and clean. A very nice Restaurant and Bar, with good food and reasonably priced, but no breakfast in the weekdays available, although plenty good cafes etc nearby or 5 minuets walk down at the main seafront area.

Had a bad experience over night with the guests in the next room being very noisy and disturbing everyone at 1am at night. But when I contacted the reception overnight number about it, the staff and Management were quick to attend and try to sort it out. The Manager offed an alternative room but I declined, as the disturbance seemed to get sorted out and it quietened down a lot following the Managers intervention.

The location was great, close to the local beach and in a vibrant area with several pubs, bars and restaurants. Parking was free at a car park next door. The staff were friendly and prompt at taking us to our rooms when we checked in. The room was large, spacious and very clean with great tea and coffee facilities and several bottles of water which was appreciated. Wifi was included and worked well. Beds were all comfortable. Checking out was straightforward. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Not a dislike by any means (more of a disappointment!) but we would have liked to to have a drink in the pub below but left it a little late and it had closed by the time we got back from a meal out (around 10pm?). This was possibly due to it being a Sunday night.

The location is great - 2-3 mins up from the sea front in the Victorian quarter. The hotel is a pub and think in the summer will be livley We were welcomed and excorted to a large room fully stocked with bathroom toiletries, big towels, a fan or radiator for temp control and the plenty of tea. coffee and milks. Guests enjoy 10% off pub food and recommend the chicken fajita chips - yum And free parking to side of hotel in local carparks New Brighton beach and sea front is great in all weathers from the stromy waves crashing against the sea defences to the sand beaches or watching the boats entering the Mersey - its fab Check out Social 114 for breakfast, and Marino Lounge for good food and atmosphere too

Sadly no breakfast but then a good excuse to visit the area but there was honestly nothing to dislike :)

The location was good for us for walking down to the beach and visiting friends in the Wirral. No parking at the hotel but free parking very close. We walked to the beach and came back for supper to find the kitchen had closed early due to lack of customers, but the barman gave us good advice on other places to eat.

There was no breakfast service at all on weekdays, but we should have known that if we had read the information properly when we booked, so that was our own fault really. Letting ourselves out in the morning with nobody about and just depositing the room key felt a bit weird.

It was cosy and perfect for the 2 of us. I liked the fob entry system so we did not disturb people as we were out late. The staff we're very helpful in terms of explaining parking. My favorite little quirk was the information in the room regarding the history of New Brighton. Please note the room was spotless and the shower was nice and powerful!

Silly me didn't realise that when I was booking, Breakfast was not included. Breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced but I did think there could of been 2 bacon and 2 sausage instead of 1 each for the £10 odd. I also think there could potentially be an option to add breakfast on at the time of booking. (I thought I probably missed the option but was advised by the waitress that it never normally is)

Good area, plenty public buses, own bar, and choice 4 other bars same street, and 2 cafe's on same street. Just been re decorated. We booked a party at New Brighton Hotel for family and my mother n law 90th later his year., The gay parade festival was on same street, same wk end. with live band, food stalls, etc .

Drinks at bar were a little expensive, creaking stairs, probably due to building been old, but no problem, stayed there 3 times.

Warm welcome from (presumably) proprietor. Refurbishment taking place in the pub area - at first glance looks as though it will be smart and tasteful when finished. Room and bathroom clean. Plenty of toiletries supplied and a good supply of tea, coffee and milk. Particular thanks for the adequate number of milks - many hotels supply a meagre amount which makes work for themselves when guests have to ask for more. Hotel is within a 5-10 minute walk of The Pavilion (the reason for our stay). Pleasantly surprised how quiet it was but it was a weekday(not Friday) and there was no live music. Thank you to all the team.

For the price charged we have no complaints.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, bathroom was extremely clean with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Room was lovely and spacious, complimentary bottles of water, glasses and coffee, tea and sugar. Beds were so comfy. Prime location, surrounded by restaurants, a one stop and bars, train station a few mins walk. Defo recommend, and already booked to stay again.

There are no negatives, we could barely hear the music when in our room, was so lively and welcome tho we wanted to join in :).
