Great welcome and service, particularly from Nisha on reception. Good sized, clean, room which was very comfortable. Major plus is the fact that the windows are well soundproofed and can be opened to gain fresh air. Location is fantastic, especially with the ability to exit via LG level to catch an Uber or walk outside.

Rooms are lovely, but beginning to look a little tired around the edges (tear in curtain, deterioration of wood surfaces). Drinks prices are ridiculously high, impacting dwell time. Breakfast quality and temperature was poor.

The view was great from our room and also the amount of space we had in our room as well . The staff have always been very polite when we have stayed and any issues have been sorted straight away that we had with our room .

The only issue i had with the room we booked is that it just did not feel as clean as when we had previously stayed . Mould marks in the bathroom and also the bed was not as comfortable as when we have stayed previously in another room . There was also a lot of noise from guests in other rooms . We also had issues with the tv not working in our room .

Fantastic location - 10 minutes walk to New Street station and the O2 Academy (reason for our stay). An excellent selection of restaurants and bars surrounding the front of the hotel and along the canal. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were clean and of a good size. There was a good selection at breakfast with eggs made to order if preferred. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Birmingham.

There were a few minor signs of wear & tear in the bedrooms and the we couldn’t fully close our interconnecting door to our teenagers room next door but wasn’t an issue for us.

The hotel is fantastic location,very clean ,not noisy lovely and warm and staff very helpful (Ian) room cleaning staff excellent and friendly nice bar ,perfect location for Utilita arena and restaurants and nice old pubs . Would stay again and will be booking for our next concert .

The breakfast was not a good experience when went to server counter No bread or choice ,no baked beans ,no butter ,no hot plates or cutlery ,no cups for tea only mugs ,coffee from machine not very good .and tables were not cleared looked very messy ,there was no manager to show to clean laid table or to manage staff. Lots of people begging in area around mailbox .

location was perfect, 5 minute walk from the center. The location of the hotel was perfect on the canal with all the bars and places to eat near by to make it a nice evening chilling near the hotel with plenty to do around the hotel at night.

Only down side was no on site but parking is a no more than a 2 minute walk but the positive is the parking was fine no issues plenty of staff in the car park walking around and with the hotel you can get 20% off parking

I stayed twice during the last 15 days and thoroughly enjoyed both my stays. I was given an amazing room for my second stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great, very close to New Street Station and by the canal. Breakfast was very good with a great buffet.

It's not the fault of the people concerned, but my room was opposite the cleaning room, which meant that there was quite a bit of noise early in the morning (noise from doors and conversations).

The staff were very welcoming & friendly. Greta, who checked us in, was extremely polite, kind, and professional. I needed a little help with something during our stay and Ian, another member of staff at reception, was really helpful. The room had a chic, minimalistic feel to it, which we really liked. It's a well-considered design choice.

The only thing that could've made the room slightly better is a mirror above the desk / chair space. Other than that, everything was great.

The location was great for me - near the station and my meetings. There is a 24hr gym which you get access to with your room - which was also great for me - quiet with TV. Breakfast was really nice with a big choice.

While the hotel is close to the canal and a few restaurants and pubs, I thought it might be noisy from there - but it wasn't. It was noisy from the streets around. There were people shouting in the streets until around 3am and then deliveries from around 05:30 - maybe I just had bad luck. If you're booking a room, get higher up the hotel. I was on the 2nd floor, but the lift and stairs are fine, so get away from the street noise !

The hotel is central to the mailbox with a short walk to Board Street and the NIA (Utilia Arena) for shows. Its nestled in the middle of all the great restaurants and is reasonably priced for a weekend away!

The only draw back is at the minute there is no onsite restaurant in the evening, the bar is quite and chilled but you have to order out for food; but as the hotel works with Deliveroo there is a great choice of top restaurants that you can get dropped to reception with no problems.
