Very kind staff! They’re friendly and willing to help! The bathroom looks newly renovated into a modern style. The room was spacious and they have a list of items that you may have forgotten on your trip that you can borrow from them, which I thought was convenient. We had breakfast twice, a good selection, expect a British buffet. Not far from Birmingham Library, Sainsbury’s is a 2 minute walk away, close to a range of pubs and bars, though I didn’t hear any noise at night. Near the canals and the city centre.

The only thing I have to say is that since the bathroom was newly renovated, by the looks of it, it was hard to turn the tap on. Other than that not much to not like.

As we walked into the room we were very shocked at how well the room was set out. The twin double beds were so comfortable and so were the pillows. It was my 20th birthday and my grandmas funeral on the same day so when we came back in the evening they had two cup cakes and a card in the room, it really did make my day to be honest. the receptionist were very polite and they even gave us three breakfast vouchers for my birthday.

I kinda wish there were some more complimentary biscuits with the hot drinks. The brand of hot chocolate in the room was very watered down and didn't taste as good.

spacious rooms, staff were great

I watched the rooms being cleaned as I had to stand in the hallway while mine was cleaned and could see into all the rooms and the cleaners just made the beds without changing the sheets and wiped the cups with a towel and put them back instead of putting new ones out. A staff member walked through my door around 4pm and was shocked to see me in there in my starkers. she said that she was advised the room was empty so that made me understandably a little uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. they usually leave out bottles of water but only sparkling was left out, this is always my go to hotel when I’m in the area but I’m not too sure now

The room was really comfy, and well appointed, with great TV, luxurious bed. It was a nice touch for the bottled water in the room. The capsule coffee machine was awesome too. Although, I'm not a huge fan of those... (too strong). The shower was great.

Breakfast was very chaotic. Although I came down a bit late in the morning the day I tried it, I had to wait for a table to be cleaned, and the coffee machines were problematic to say the least. I wasn't that impressed with the breakfast (I've had better at premier inns. If your room is close to the lift shafts, expect some constant noise through the day / night. The other guests who were staying appeared to either be hard of hearing or just not bothered when they were walking down the corridors almost shouting at each other... Not much consideration for guests that were trying to sleep.

It’s a really good value for money. Rooms are spacious and so it’s bathroom.

My friend came to say hi and security didn’t let him in telling me that hotel policy states no visitors after 11pm. I went to reception to ask where I can see t&c and lady told me that it’s always been like that and it’s on their website. Unfortunately nothing on the website, she just completely lied to me…when I came back to challenge her she went to the room and when she back she told me that she asked her manager and apparently they are in the process of updating the t&c on the website. To the management: train your stuff that lies are the worst. And by the way; check in took me 30 min Due to incomplete staff, probably new person that was left alone on reception :(

Lovely relaxing stay, close to cannel. Very good location for getting to places.

There wasn’t enough staff when it came to breakfast and dinner. We found we were put on a dirty table before being cleaned for dinner. Then breakfast on our last day, 1 lady was running around cleaning all the tables meaning there were none free and we had to sit at a dirty table missing all cutlery. That same day we weren’t shown to a table when the previous two mornings we were. We were then told they will clean the table to then go off to get out breakfast to find our table had been taken so we had to stand and wait again for a clean table.

1. LOCATION: The location is excellent. A 5 min walk from the ICC conventional center. A pleasant place in the City center. The club on the street across from the hotel is noisy and makes it hard to sleep at night. A possible solution is a request for a higher floor. My room was on the 7th floor, and the noise was still prominent. Be aware of that. 2. HOTEL The reception team was very pleasant and kind. During busy hours it might take you a long time to wait in line to check in at the reception desk (~25 minutes). The reception has free refreshing drinks, and the lounge has comfortable chairs and sofas. Elevators are the bottleneck of the hotel. There are four elevators, and despite the reasonable number, it is slow moving, and I had to wait up to 25 minutes for an elevator on the upper ground floor during rush hours. The elevator works fine for the rest of the day, but be prepared in advance, especially if you order an UBER while still in your room. This might be a good reason for taking lower floors (if the noise from the street does not bother you). 3. ROOMS The rooms are perfect! The beds are super comfortable, brand new TV with a casting function, excellent WIFI, and Free of charge (the hotspot signal is stable, and the internet speed is way beyond average). The shower and toilet are fantastic, and the water stream is surprisingly good! There is an iron and a safe in the cupboard. A coffee machine with Nespresso capsules in the room upgrades your stay with good coffee whenever you want. Don't worry about drinking water as there is a big bottle of mineral water in your room. 4. BREAKFAST. Everyone can find their favorite food to eat

Staff were polite, welcoming & informative Bar staff, drinks &information were great - enjoyed our experience Brilliant breakfast 🥰

Little concerned at first when i requested for shower mat (we have been offered it before without problem) it was not provided.Which really bothered us , as there was no anti slip in the shower area. However after a while we sat down for drinks the assistant had got a mat & informed us - put it in our room. We were so relieved & utterly apprecetive - i do hope it is avaliable to other guests who request it. As elderly or any person using a shower it's a health & safety issue i believe. Thank you for your help & support which helped us feel secure - appreciated our stay. Just a comment - be nice to have bar snax eg .. nuts /crisps / olives just small bowls to compliment drinks/ Cocktails.

Room was comfortable and clean, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast selection was very good, we got up early knowing that it would be busy from 8.30am onwards ( been at a concert the night before like a lot of the other guests!). Great location for bars & restaurants and a lovely walk Sunday morning along the canal path. We would stay here again.

The bar was a little busy immediately after our return from the concert and had to queue for over 20 mins to get a drink. The bar team remained calm & in control and clearly used to it. Weirdly 1 of the biscuit packets had been opened and 1 biscuit left, never seen that before!

Just the overall layout and the facilities the room was amazing it was my first time and wish I had my wife with me as I was by myself a on a business trip , I can't fault anything from the staff at reception to the hard working house keepers and general staff all just make you feel welcome, honestly hands down the best hotel I've stayed in for that price and definitely can't wait to visit again when next im in Birmingham totally brilliant 👏

Cant fault anything, even if I wanted to be picky still can't fault anything the gym could probably do with one more bunch but overall for the space the gym was amazing and thats just being picky
