Excellent facilities, staff, service, food and drink. comfortable, slept well. Lifts need a service. Not enough lifts, seems that hotel got bigger but the number of lifts stayed the same. Breakfast excellent remember no supermarkets nearby, nearest M&S Food is at the airport, so you are a hostage to the hotel amenities. Soundproofing exceptional given location and noise (roads/trains/planes). Use the short-cut from the back of the NEC to the hotel, avoid taxi unless have huge luggage, exhibition stands, etc.
Wallet-thumpingly expensive, but it is the NEC. EVERYTHING is expensive at the NEC (Numbingly-Expensive Charges), they have the world's dearest Londis supermarket. The bar restaurant is pricey on food but food is good quality and well-portioned. Staff are friendly, but under-resourced given the numbers.

Clean and tidy
Shower was small, there was no WOW factor in the bedrooms, they were just average hence not worth £150

Everything was amazing, the breakfast leaves you spoilt for choice for both food and drink, and plenty of room so you aren't waiting ages to get in. The staff member attending our room was Kerry, and honestly she did a fantastic job. Our room was so nice and tidy when we came back after the day, and she even organised all my things on my side table for me and made the bed for us, restocked everything and left it to an excellent standard. Could not have asked for anything better! Also the car park price was a lot less than I expected, £30 for 50 hours of being there is a great deal!
Nothing! It was all fantastic

The location to the world's resorts arena was very good. Room was lovely. Staff, especially at breakfast and reception were amazing, helpful and very polite.
We found that returning to hotel after attending Rick Astley, the bar area wasn't equipped to deal with customers returning from the show. We waited 45 minutes in a queue of people at the bar, which at one time only had one person working behind because staff kept coming and going. We, in the end, returned to our room without having a drink of any kind. Surely if the hotel now of a show being held it should staff to requirement. It did bring our very good night to an abrupt halt.

Room was spacious and had everything. Location great for the NEC & or the airport but also easy to get to the centre of Birmingham via train from International station to New Street. Easy to park. Easy to find.
There was a mix up with the original booking which I had tried to sort out remotely, but as soon as I spoke to the lady on reception everything was sorted and she honoured the original price. There did seem to be a lack of communication between booking.com and Hilton. Our room was above a side street and there was a very noisy delivery/lorry that came about 5am. Apart from that it was a very comfortable stay & breakfast was excellent. Also parking was easy and cheaper than in town.

The Brightside restaurant provided my evening meals. Excellent food but a bit hit and miss as to whether you are going to get a table. Will try to book in advance in future. Its taken me 4 visits to this hotel to discover this restaurant. In the past have just used the bar food.
Disappointed that you now have to book and pay for a swim in the leisure centre. Last year i enjoyed that, this year I just didn't bother to try. I know the hotel was busy but the service in the main bar was poor and with less table service going on. You also ran out of No alcohol beer or cider. To spend 15 minutes in a que to buy a '' Bud Light'' to find out you had run out was not funny.

The location was very good we went to see Tom Jones at The Resort world Arena and some shops it took us just 5/10 minutes to walk there and if you walk the opposite direction you walk towards the NEC etc. The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean . I also requested if possible for the room to be made up for 1pm and it was so very pleased that they were able to do that for us.
It was very expensive to drink there . I know prices of drinks in hotels usually are in hotels and I do think that they should all drop the price considering you pay a lot for one room in the first place . Also I think if you are staying at the hotel the car parking should be free as .It becomes very expensive. I personally would prefer a walk in shower rather than a bath with shower ( that's being picky) I would think you could request that. If it's a real problem. We stayed in room 2047 2nd floor just in case anyone does prefer a walk in shower. Also we could not get the heating on but they put a small heater in the room so it was fine .

We were in the business lounge and i wanted to say how fantastic Janice was. She was a perfect host and looked after everyone, very professional . Infact the days she wasn't there it was a total mess, no food, nobody clearing up and people complaining. I hope she gets this feedback as if it wasn't for her my review would be very different.
Notes above , and should have tomatoes in the breakfast

Nice hotel, staff attitudes were not best at times-1 particular barmaid was rude on more than 1 occasion & attitude on desk when mentioned how noisy our corridor where room was on 2 out of 3 nights was (like party ville) - was not good. They couldn’t have cared less & no suggestion of sending someone to investigate-screaming/shouting a lot & so on! This will make me think about staying here again -worst it’s ever been & stayed here quite a lot over past few years!
Attitude as above & if it’s drawing in crowds on rowdy nights out more & more, & don’t care about their other customers then hotel will start losing out to other hotels. Where are security staff & hotel staff keeping an eye out for their other customers?? Very poor!
