Had to pay for parking when room was expensive enough

Always a great stay at this hotel, location is perfect and for a Hilton it has kept it's good standards whereas most others I have stayed in now in the UK are becoming substandard. Having a 24 hour bar is also always a great addition. Parking is easy and reasonably priced for the location. This will always be my first choice hotel when staying at the NEC.

I have been staying at this hotel for 15 or so years, although nothing is a problem as yet, I feel the hotel will need to start to modernise and keep up repair as if it doesn't it may follow other Hiltons. The lifts, they work but the doors are becoming slow, they are noisy and you are given the feeling, perhaps the stairs might be a safer bet. Like I said, not something that would put me off staying again but just constructive feedback for things that perhaps could do with a little revamp before they do become a problem.

Executive lounge is always welcoming and provide a good range of drinks, canapés and a lovely breakfast. I must say on our second evening the lounge was very busy and as a party of seven there wasn’t enough room for us all to sit together. The executive lounge manager, Jenise went above and beyond in providing us seating in the overflow area. Herself and Mollie, looked after us all with their hospitality skills and great personalities. They both made our stay feel extra special. Our room was clean and housekeeping staff were helpful. I’ve been using this hotel for over ten years so it’s become a place that I know and expectations are always consistent.

The bar food can be very hit and miss. After ordering onion rings they arrived looking very undercooked, pale and floppy. We sent them back but they again arrived in the same condition with a statement from the chef saying this is how they will come on every occasion. We complained to the manager but weren’t happy with the refund process in that we had to complete personal details on a sheet of paper to enable a refund. The manager was keen to make us happy so we opted for complimentary wine instead of a refund.

I was attending the European Elvis championships I should have booked straight with them so I didn’t benefit from their offers ie cheaper car park fees and breakfast/dinner included. Never mind it was still a great experience and the room was extremely comfortable - even though sadly I didn’t sleep well at all

THE LIFTS!!! Absolutely terrible!! One out of 3 working - shocking! Why didn’t you get an engineer to come and fix them! The middle one was out of order when I got there on the Friday, the end one was playing up - didn’t feel safe being in it to be honest - then it was out of order soon after, not surprising really. Drinks are too expensive

Service at breakfast was excellent. A hotel colleague (I think she was named Fidelma) saw that it would be difficult for me, with 2 children and my husband in a wheelchair, to get breakfast in the self service set up. So she offered us help and she was an angel. I managed to enjoy the food whilst it was still hot and I felt seen in my role as a carer. I really appreciated her help. Please pass on my thanks to her. Also the fresh honeycomb at breakfast was a new experience for me. I thought I didn't like honeycomb but that was like pure heaven and a very special touch to the breakfast offering.

The disabled toilet near the bar and breakfast restaurant has a damaged seat, is extremely hard to flush (suspect this is also broken) and the lock is damaged to the door. The worst of these was the seat as it made it dangerous to the least able users.

The bed was really comfortable and our room was a perfectly acceptable temperature so the incredibly light duvet worked fine for us. Easy walking distance to the NEC venue for our concert. Considering the volume of people going through the dining hall, the breakfast buffet worked very efficiently.

We had two friends with us staying in single bedded rooms over in 'B Block' who were absolutely frozen. I believe the heating wasn't working and they didn't want to leave portable heaters on all night. For them the duvet was far too light so rather inevitably their disappointment marred our visit.

The whole experience was top tier. I enjoyed my the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Extremely clean throughout and the area was not that busy either. You do have to book a slot through either the front desk or through the extension numbers given in your room. The food was very reasonable for the price and it was good quality food. The only downside was there was a 45 minuete wait but it was a busy night. The beds were very comfortable and they had spare pillows in the wardrobe. The Breakfast that was included was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. Considering it was mass catered it was really yummy food. Praise to the Hilton family!

I can’t say I didn’t like anything. They performed to very high standards and it was a very enjoyable experience.

Brilliant location for bp pulse LIVE. Staff were fantastic in the restaurants. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend and definitely come back ourselves.

My husband had trouble sleeping because the pillows were too soft. He would also have liked complimentary biscuits to go with his tea and coffee in the room. I did notice the ladies loos in the reception area had not been cleaned from the night before. It was not pleasant. But as I came out a cleaning lady was going in. He thought the prices in the 24hr restaurant were a little high compared to the price paid for breakfast, which was brilliant!

hotel Stay here a lot all it was great clean to expected of this type of hotel , great location for NEC events for resorts world and bp plus live arena room room was clean and was given the correct room as a few months ago i was not glad to see that ps it was the exact room i got exactly a year ago for this same event with i love staff staff great an extra charge was on my card for no reason next day i went to staff and was sorted straight away

hotel it is a really clean hotel but on busy week ends like this where there's multiple events on the where takeaway bags boxes in hallways cups in the lifts. beer and wine left out, one lift was working went in it did not feel right next morning it was out of order but 2 where still working room window seal was broken it dose not close flush and allows a draft to come in i had to keep heating on high just to balance it out outher then that its a perfect room staff cant complain perfect

Comfortable room (although we only used one bed) and good shower, peaceful overnight and good blackout curtains so a good nights sleep.

I booked the two nights separately (as we changed our minds about when we wanted to travel) and each night was a different price for exactly the same room. Breakfast was expensive. We left our towels hanging up as instructed, as we were happy to reuse them the next day, but they were (either) both folded back on the rack, or replaced for new towels - we weren't sure which, but it meant we then didn't know whose towel was which (if this makes sense)!
