I had an issue with the car park. Parking Eye was ridiculous for months trying to sort it, but the staff were brilliant in helping me sort it out. Staff went out of their way to help with our dietary requirements. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location was good for us.

The parking Eye on the first stay there. It was dark and pouring with rain. We did not see the signs outside. We were not told to put our reg in for the parking. Another guest was standing in front of the machine so we did not see it. Make sure you put your own car reg in to save time and hassle. Staff helped us sort this. Parking Eye were not helpful at all.

The hotel was really well located near Star City and travel links to Birmingham city centre. The bed was really comfortable so you'll be in for a good night sleep. The buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day with the usual breakfast items and a range of hot and cold drinks.

There was nothing in particular we didn't like. The hotel isn't the most luxurious but it does exactly what you expect. The lights could be a bit annoying. We could never work out which switch turned which lights on and off

The room was massive! With a lovely bathroom and a nice view at sundown, the free WiFi was brilliant and my son was pleased as he could use his Nintendo. Breakfast had a lovely selection on offer. Location and parking was great as we were visiting the NEC all weekend

I had one minor displeasure which was not down to the hotel but another guest. Our room had a joining door to room next door and at 11.45 ish decided to start drying there hair with the dryer.

The staff were very helpful and kind. We booked for 2 nights to attend a family wedding. We had a hair and makeup appointment in the morning and we were rushing against time. The staff made arrangements so I could take away breakfast for my mum to eat later after her appointment. Our rooms were very clean. The location of the hotel is superb ,with parking on site. Will definitely book again when we are in Birmingham.

Reception & Breakfast staff were all lovely. They were kind and very helpful, and a credit to the hotel. Room had everything we needed. The hotel was very well placed just off junction 6 of the M6. The only flaws to the stay was that the hotel lift was out of order which is why I marked down the facilities and the hotel was a little hard to find behind all the shrubbery & trees. Possibly a sign as you come off the roundabout directing you to the (almost) hidden minor road to the hotel which was off a busy dual carriageway.

Broken lift during our stay and the hotel being difficult to find. Would have liked cooked tomatoes on the breakfast buffet.

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice and all kept hot. I was even impressed that a gluten-free range was offered. The room was quiet even though at a busy junction. Staff were great. Super helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking. Iron and hairdryer in the room (no having to ask at reception). Plenty of tea and coffee in the room too. Great for an overnight if visiting Birmingham. Will certainly look to stay again. Great value too.

The hotel was fully booked and they were obviously under pressure at breakfast......there was no seating available until someone opened the meeting room. Breakfast items were frequently missing with up to 10 minute waits for all items to be 100 % available

We were delighted with the room. Bathroom was lovely and had all the essentials. Really enjoyed the shower. Bed was ok. Probably would have been more comfortable as a double but was fit for purpose given I stayed with my son. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay Breakfast was great. Had all of my favourites.

Breakfast room is quiet small though. We were just lucky to get a table as someone was leaving. Toaster was a bit slow so didn’t get any.

The cleanness was really good, the bed was very fresh and neat! All personnel very very genuinely friendly! I slept really good

There was a problem with the fire alarm, or an alarm that was on all the time, it was not possible to turn off. But I understand it was bothering more those at work then me. I could not hear it from my room.

Great location; It was close enough to Villa Park that we were able to walk comfortably. also had lots of local amenities near by and were able to order deliveries to the hotel. it basic and clean which was expected and the breakfast that included was great. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help. Would definitely stay here again if I need accommodation in Birmingham.
