The room was lovely, very clean and spacious. We didn’t have breakfast, felt it was overpriced. Went to a place on broad street and had a lovely full English with refill tea for £7

Car parking for the hotel is expensive, we found alternative parking at the nearby fiveways multi storey, it was £8 for 24 hours

Excellent breakfast and all staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A couple of issues with our room which were promptly sorted to our satisfaction.

Issue with the air con in the room, but we were swiftly moved into an upgraded room.

really clean and beautiful hotel. bar/restaurant really good too and location great, couldn’t hear any noise despite it being on Broad Street

Great location for the Arena and Symphony Hall.

What a shame that the cooked breakfast was spoiled by undercooked bacon and sausages. Entrance to car park is very narrow.

We arrived at 11 a.m., due to a change of our flight from Spain. Iris, the receptionist was superb and arranged a room for us, notwithstanding we were so early. Check in and payment was painless. The room was itself roomy and well appointed, the bath room was immaculate. The housekeeping was excellent and its obvious a program of constant attention to cleanliness is in being. The location is ideal for the tram service, with a stop only 5 minutes away. The Canal area is a 10 minute walk, with all its bars and restaurants. Breakfast was very hearty and excellent quality.

Only one thing.....the outside tables of the bar area, although cleared regularly of plates and glasses etc. were left dirty as regards their surface for the next people to use the table. Disappointing, as the standards elsewhere were impeccable.

What an all round fantastic experience. Check in on Thur 15th was quick and extremely pleasant. The young lady took time to explain the best way of getting around Birmingham and the tram became our mode of transport with a stop just outside the hotel. The Bar staff couldn't have been any friendlier and have a great sense of humour. Breakfast was included in our package and it was really delish buffet style but everything freshly cooked and nothing lying around. Our bedroom was on the 10th floor and was lovely and quiet. The bed was very comfy and the accessible shower room.very spacious and spotless. Hey even provided complimentary razor and comb in.the room.

Excellent friendly and professional staff. Wonderful welcome. Good breakfast, plenty of choice and nice breakfast room. Very pleasant foyer and public areas, restaurant/bar etc Comfortable bed, good bedlinen and towels. All staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant and really helpful. Good location.

Our room (908) seemed to be situated behind the lifts. It was a relatively small room. The noise from the lifts when trying to get to sleep was a nightmare and continued until bout 4am, felt like I was trying to sleep on a train or something, whirring, swishing, banging, loud chatting. Very disappointing after a long day of travelling and a Bruce Springsteen concert. Also not worth £202 as not a comfortable sleeping experience with all that noise. I only got to sleep after 5am and of course, lifts got busy again in a few hours with people going down to breakfast. Generally I liked the hotel very much but NOT that room. Bathroom nice but floor not very clean and shower door made an awful creaking noise. Also one bedside lamp not working. little details but did not expect these faults.

Nice staff and very picturesque place

The staff was excellent, welcoming, and ready to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Checking in, Saif was very friendly and guaranteed a complimentary breakfast throughout my stay. Visiting the bar, Tarvinder was a proper barman and we had a good conversation, walking me through the menu and the differences in their unique drink menu while my drink was being prepared. My room was always clean and came with a lot of complimentary coffee, refilled each day.

The WI-FI only works on one device at a time. I tried to setup my Chromecast to stream Netflix onto the TV in my room but the free WI-FI did not allow this. It wasn't bad not slow internet, I would have just preferred that I could have done more with it.
