Stayed with the family in a family room for one night. Good value for money specially breakfast added and location was excellent. Walking distance to bull ring, restaurants and also parking space was also easily available for £8 for 24 hrs so no issues there. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Good size room, Comfortable beds and tidy. House keeping had certainly done a good job! Will stay here again when we visit Birmingham next time. Has an Indian restaurant downstairs which I didn’t notice so next time I’m trying Indian there.

Our room was just above the bar hence we could hear the music till late night but once we turned the lights off, it didn’t bother us as we were too tired- falling asleep in seconds haha

The whole place was spotlessly clean, the room itself looked as if it has been recently refurbished. The room including the bathroom was cleaned to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a nice touch, only a basic continental but plenty their to choice from. Overall I would say good value for money and would definitely stay again.

When we arrived we waited at the reception desk for a little while, only to realize the receptionist was sat on a bar stool just a few meters away but was on his mobile phone, he then continued to talk on the phone for some of our check-in process, well getting the keys together etc. This was a little unprofessional and not very good for first impressions from a customer service perspective. One small issue in the room was that it was very hot, the window was propped open only a little with a wooden block, this was the only way it would stay open. Additionally the shower doors did not close all the way and did not seem to be connected to the runners properly, so there was a gap at the bottom, allowing water to splash out onto the floor area.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower was a good pressure and temperature range. The bar downstairs was great too. Location couldn't have been better for our trip to the o2 academy! Bed linen was clean and fresh.

This is a completely acceptable tiny critique... for the price, this would NOT put us off a 2nd visit. Hairdryer attached to the wall with no mirror. In a small room it made it harder work getting ready just by having only a bathroom mirror and a hairdryer without any mirror. But as I say this is certainly no criticism as for the price the whole experience was great!

The room was lovely and clean with all the facilities I expected. Excellent location being just a short walk from the city centre. The bed was very comfortable and warm with a lovely selection of pillows. The staff member I spoke too was incredibly polite and really helpful in explaining everything - always nice to see! All in all excellent value for money.

The room did feel a little cramped so maybe a little small for couples or families. No breakfast included though there was the bar downstairs which served food. It was a little unclear where check in was as there was no sign on the outside to tell you to go into the bar. There was a hotel entrance sign on a door which is where I stood knocking until someone came out of the bar to help. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor which was easily solved by a towel on the floor but still a negative point. From what I could see there was no onsite or close by parking so if you are driving into Birmingham maybe use a public carpark.

I just needed a place to crash after a show at the O2 and this was perfect. The room was small but exactly what I needed - the shower was nice and hot With good water pressure and the bed was comfy. I liked the blackout curtain too! There was a key fob for easy access to the building late at night and check out was just to drop keys in a drop box. My pics were taken at the end of my stay - the bed was made beautifully when I arrived!

The stairs were steep? But honestly it didn’t bother me - but it’s the only negative I can think of

I enjoyed the breakfast, but having the same options every day became a bit monotonous. It would be great to have a variety of choices available. Despite that, the location of the property is fantastic. It did take me a little while to find it, but eventually, I was able to locate it.

I have no complaints about my experience. The check-in process was efficient, and the attendant, a friendly woman, provided excellent service. She also thoroughly explained the safety protocols. Overall, a positive experience.

Room was quiet and very clean. Quick check in and check out. Good location for the Chinese Quarter and the Gay Village, not a far walk from New Street Station. Liked the energy saving lights in the stairs. Bed and pillow very comfortable.

The room was tiny and mostly because of that, all the walls were marked and scratched by passing luggage. The radiator next to the toilet seat meant you had to sit sideways or your leg got burnt. The shower is very, very tight and the shower head needed replacing. The front door downstairs was hard to push open.

Hotel is in a very cosy position to reach the centre of the city, reachable in a few minutes on foot. Staff of the below pub has been kind to collect our luggages in advance and they provided us all the details to enter and go out from the structure. Nearby the pub there is an Indian's restaurant where the tasted a very good meal, morevover we drunk very good beers from the pub! The rooms wasn't so big, but it was enough for one person and the bathroom was enough big and comfortable. Overall the structure satisfied my expectations, principally for the great value for money

The lack of a wardrobe in the room could be a not pleasant thing, principally if your permanence lasts more than one day

Location was great, very clean room, and the bar staff was a friendly guy.

The bed wasn’t a full double and the rooms size being so small meant that the bed was against the wall, making it a very tight squeeze/uncomfortable for two people to sleep on. We were also woken up by housekeeping at around 10am running the Hoover in the corridor right outside our room and making quite a lot of noise including knocking on our door to clean the room even tho checkout wasn’t until 11. (We had lived with road works outside our flat the last 6 months so really just wanted to get a good nights sleep and a lie in by staying in a hotel).

The staff were great! Looked after me from the second I walked in, a real warm reception. I have to say Ruby, behind the bar was a pleasure to chat with, asking me if everything was to my satisfaction, which it most definitely was! The two guy's, I'm sorry, I have forgotten your names, but you were great! And the local's, brilliant bunch! Room was perfect! I will recommend this place for anyone staying in Birmingham, ten out of ten! 😊👍

There was nothing to dislike at all.
