The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The shower and bathroom were clean. The hotel is a few hundred yards from the beach and promenade. Close to nice pubs, bars and eating places.

I struggled to get the shower hot- that may just have been me not understanding how the shower works. There were no towels supplied- I did read the reviews before I went so took my own towels. There is street parking outside the hotel but you may struggle to find a space at certain times. That's no different to most other hotels and b&bs though. Some hotels have onsite parking but they charge £10 a day, if they have spaces available.

The shores hotel was a wonderful stay, the staff members were so amazing with my little girl, who can be quite forward and loud. They made us feel so comfortable, there was no greed for money, or judgement on anything. It was really homely and the manners were impeccable

I think maybe the rooms could have been a little cleaner, but that's literally it.

On arrival I was made aware of local parking. And where the local Entertainment for our family was. Dave was very accommodating and couldn't do enough for us When dave noticed we were with our daughter he gave us some snacks for the bedroom for her and advised he had a good selection of dvd's we could use which was a great personal touch. We would stay again and recommend to friends

Everything was great

Onwer was very easy to talk to. He told us places to go and just outside the hotel is free parking. The hotel had good security key for outside door and a key card to get in our room. My misses wanted the bed linen to take home! It's still there. We stayed an extra night. When we go back to Blackpool I am staying here. We will book our holidays for when they can accommodate us. The hotel is central to the tower and central pier.

The hotel is the other end to the south pier which is good as its boring that end of the golden mile and unless you go to the pleasure Beach you get an opportunity to go on the tram to get there.

Everything was there that we needed. It was very close to the attractions. It was clean. All the staff were friendly. The manager checked in with us regularly and was very attentive to the people staying in his hotel. He made sure my son had things to do (plenty of games) when we went to the bar.

There is nothing that I disliked.

Stayed here Friday to Monday was greeted by david who owns the hotel he is lovely carried our bag to our room upstairs nothing was to much for him, such a nice person ended up having a few drinks with him & the other staff very down to earth people which made the stay even beta. Room was standard double en-suite we’ve been in much worse. Really good location. Planning on coming back down in Nov for hubbys birthday. Thanks so much to David & his lovely staff. See u Nov xxx

Lovely property in right location! Everyone we met was lovely and very helpful and they are always there if we needed anything

In both off room the windows wouldn’t shut properly so let the cold in, but the heating was on but it was abit cold in the rooms but other than that everything was good.

Booked this for a stag doo The room was big with a king size bed It was very clean Everything worked for the price it was actually one of the best rooms I've stayed in Next time I visit Blackpool I'll just stick with these because I'm more than happy with this place

The Shores Hotel was well maintained,clean and the room smelt very nice. First from the checking in, the owner welcomed us very well. His customer service was excellent. The room that we got as a family of 3,was perfect and it served the purpose. The carpet was clean and well maintained. The toilet and washer room was clean too. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well.

At first when i was booking this place, I was attracted by the statement that there was a free parking in the hotel. This statement should be more specific that this is a free street parking (very very limited places) .Also these free street parking spaces are also used by all other neighbouring hotels. So I did struggled to look for a secure car park. I paid £16 for 18 hours parking session in Chapel Street Car park which was also a little bit far from the hotel. Anyway, i would still book a room in the Shores hotel. Probably next time i would be lucky enough to get a free street parking place 😊

Me and my partner just stayed here for a long weekend, and if I could give it more than a 10 I would! We cannot thank Dave enough, he made our stay so lovely. He was kind and welcoming from the get go and he even helped us up with our suitcases. He explained to us that he had not long taken over the running of The Shores, as the last time we visited it was under different ownership.The Shores is all the better for this because our room was excellent! It was the perfect size for both of us. It was very clean and also newly redecorated, the bed was super comfy and fresh too. There's also a good size modern TV in the room including freeview and a decent sized ensuite with a good shower. In the evening we had a drink and played some pool at the bar, which is a good size area and has plenty variety to choose from at fair prices. All in all our stay was brilliant and we will definitely be visiting again as this really is a great B&B if you want to be near all the action but with a bit more of a relaxed and chilled vibe. We are already planning our next trip to The Shores!
