Second time staying at this Hotel. Lovely, warm welcome on Arrival. Room was small but clean, tidy and adequate for our needs. Kettle and cups in room with plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided. Working shower and clean towels. Hot water all day and through the night. Small wall heater which quickly warmed the room up lovely. No wardrobe but small rack on wall with coat hangers provided space for us to hang some of our clothes. Also a chest of draws and bedside cabinet. 2 single beds which were very comfortable, slept like babies. Hotel in great location, very quiet and only a very short walk from the sea front, shops, arcades and tower ect. Overall excellent value and a Great place to stay. Thank you 😁

Only 5 hangers on Clothes rack and too close to kettle made it a bit awkward to use kettle with clothes in the way & steam from kettle hitting clothes. So maybe that needs rethinking. We were only staying 3 days though so ended up folding what we had putting them in chest of draws instead 👍 Was a little disappointed that the signal from the free WiFi did not reach our room at the back of the hotel throughout our entire stay. Which was a pain as we also could not get any data signal either, so we was a bit cut off. A few steps out of the room and the signal was good. Couldn't complain really as it is free but maybe a couple of cheap signal boosters would fix this.

The owner (who was very friendly and welcoming) llet us check in early. The location was good - not far from the tower and the promenade. The room and en-suite were clean. The room was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. We had a good night's sleep. There was plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. We would stay again.

The room was on the small side and didn't have a wardrobe, just a small hanging space. It was fine for our one night though. The TV was quite small; we hadn't planned on watching it but Blackpool was hit by a storm while we were there which led to the trams being stopped, so we couldn't do a tour of the illuminations. The room was cold at first and took a long time to warm up with the electric wall heater.

The breakfast was brilliant a perfect sausage, nice thick bacon a proper cooked egg, we would not change any of it it was hot as well when served.

we did not dislike anything, very nice place polite hosts who made you feel part of the place, always starting a conversation which i feel can and does relax people.

Stayed for 3 nights in a twin room on the 1st floor with my son. Landlord was pleasant on arrival. Room was small but had everything we needed and was very clean. Beds were comfortable and both location and hotel quiet at night so was able to get a good night sleep. Hotel is in an excellent location, literally just round the corner from the arcades , Tower and shops. Convenience store and cash machine at the bottom of the street. Really enjoyed our stay at the Strides & will definitely recommend and will be booking Again. Thank you 😁

Nothing not to like.

Excellent location!! Coral island just right around the corner. Guy that ran the place seemed really lovely and let us come and collect the keys and get the room early. Room was small but just the right size for myself, partner and my 3 year old. Everything was really clean!

We slept in the room with the bunk bed. I slept in the bottom with my daughter and thought it was fine. My partner said the top was really uncomfortable, but was perfectly fine for the one night we were there.

Lovely hosts. Liked the coffee making facilities. They gave us more milk in our room when we were out. Very clean and tidy. Heater- To keep us warm for the night. Sleep was great 👍 There is a bar downstairs

It took a while to work the shower. My brother said the shower went to cold to hot and then cold again but said it was fine, though. You could hear the guests inside their rooms. However, that didn't put us off.

Everything. Myself and 2 children stayed here in September, we had the best time! The owners are lovely, breakfast was beautiful. My kids don't eat full English breakfasts and the owners accommodated this and made them what they would eat. We are planning to return in April. The hotel is perfectly located and central to everything but also just back from the front and the noise. Thanks for a great holiday and look forward to returning in April

Location was brilliant, the food was good and the entire place was very clean

We had to carry round our bags for most of the day because we were told that if we were to leave them at the hotel they would be in the hallway after around 12pm because there was nowhere to store them after they'd left for the day, so check beforehand to make sure you are ok to leave them there because our coach wasn't until 5pm. We didnt think to check because we've never had a problem leaving them after check in before.Perhaps a leaflet at the hotel of places that store your bags for a fee because it wasn't until after we got back and found out online that there were a coffee shop that stored them for a £5 fee 2 mins from the hotel. We still have very sore backs

Hosts make hotels and what brilliant hosts Strides Hotel has. Warm welcome on arrival. Our breakfast choices noted (my son is a fussy eater so was happy with being able to just order egg and beans for the morning) comfortable beds and a lovely breakfast both mornings. Great location too only a short walk to Coral Island and all the attractions near Central Pier.

Shower was a little weak.

the strides was perfect for my little family on our long weekend, the location is ideal as it’s very central only a 2 minute walk to the tower, the arcades and the sealife centre, the staff were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was tasty and on the table with minutes of sitting in the cozy dining room, the room had draws a triple bunk bed and an en-suite shower room, we also had a kettle, plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room too, we were very happy with our stay

one small issue with the sink, but the owner was straight up and sorted it, it was a quick and efficient fix
