Good selection at breakfast. Cooked food was piping hot. Bed was very comfortable. Room tastefully decorated. A proper old pub with beautiful tiles on walls.

Didn’t like the fact the barman asked for a credit card to charge extra for breakfast, saying booking.com hadn’t updated their site with new prices. We had paid in advance. Shower poorly designed so was impossible to not get water all over the floor. Saw people eating and asked about meals but told they had finished serving. About half an hour later pizza was coming out of kitchen.

I have previously stayed at this location and was more than willing to have the opportunity to do so again. The location is fantastic if you wish to strike out on to the moors, or a quick walk into either Horwich town itself or the football stadium (about 30 mins walk) There was unfortunately no breakfast, but that was clearly signposted/corresponded, so no issues at all there. The staff are more than friendly and welcoming and run an excellent pub with history aplenty in evidence. The rooms were more than up to expectation, being large, clean and bright with an excellent shower. I would very much return to stay here again.

To be honest there wasn't anything that strikes me as being negative during my stay.

It's a nice quiet location great to chill and unwind , the rooms really clean and comfortable. They had an open mic night on Wednesday but when you were in the room you heard nothing. They served food which meant you didn't have to venture far We stayed for 2 nights as we were there for a concert and would definitely recommend. The staff were all polite and welcoming We would definitely return . Thank you 😊

The only thing we didn't like was all the stairs lol but we got used to them quite quickly.

Friendly staff, great location in Horwich, rooms clean and bathroom facilities excellent.

Booked a family room as staying with my sister whilst visiting family in the area. Family room consisted of a lovely double bed (gave to my sister) and 2 camp beds in the corner which as you can imagine weren’t very comfortable for a fully grown man! Simply replacing these with single beds would make a huge difference

Rooms were beautifully clean and were tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and cosy. The view from the family room (Room 8) was stunning!. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they even brought the food we had ordered for dinner up to the room which is up 3 sets of stairs.

Stairs! 3 sets of them so its not a place you could stay if you have any mobility issues. Also we realised that as the keys that opened our room also had to open the door on the stairs to get down which also meant that the keys to the other rooms were all the same. Not very safe and secure!

very clean and spacious rooms…. good food and very friendly staff..

breakfast was good .. large choice and cooked fresh ..but there wasn’t a choice of what you wanted on your cooked breakfast .. and felt like a bit of a waste as some people don’t like mushrooms / black pudding / tomato etc.. that being said it was very tasty small niggle there is no hair dryer in the rooms which should be standard in my eyes however on request the lovely housekeeping staff found one which was great ..

The stay at the bridge Hotel was good the problem first of all was there were know lifts This is a red flag a big red flag for me this was not mentioned on booking 😳 I myself have arthritis in both my knees so I had a lot of problems getting up three flights of stairs also the beds where to small they where less then a double bed in size? Also there where know shelves in the bathroom or the shower cubical? Everything was on the floor.the shower fixture came off the wall when retrieving the shower head to.The staff where very friendly and welcoming I have know othe issues with the bridge Hotel I would definitely stay again if they could change what I asked for?

Having know lifts and ir needs bigger beds and there where road workers outside laying the tarmac? Noisy to say the least.

Right from the start everything ran smoothly with communication and friendly staff even when we changed our arrival time twice and had to be greeted by the night porter who was really friendly and lovely. We chose The Bridge Hotel very last minute as travelling to Gretna Green to get married and wanted to break the journey up a bit and they looked ideal for what we were needing. And omg the bed was so comfy I wanted to see what make it was but we totally forgot to. Easy booking, friendly staff, convenient location, clean and comfy, what more do you need 😉

Unfortunately the chef wasn't doing breakfast when I stayed, but a local cafe was recommended.

An extra blanket or duvet - I stayed on one of the coldest nights of the year and there wasn't any spare bedding. The room itself is lovely, its large and has a large comfortable bed. There isnt a lift but the receptionist carried my luggage up without being asked, which was nice.

Absolutely lovely reception when we arrived. I had to check in later as I was at a wedding down the road and it was no problem at all. Everyone was super helpful and amazing. Even offered to help us with our bags - our bridesmaids dresses where very long and we were exhausted! 😍 Breakfast was gorgeous. Cooked fresh for us 😋
