Friendly and welcoming staff Nice quiet room Decent shower Comfortable bed Restaurant area Girl Courtney serving was really nice and polite and would give recommendations on the food or make me aware of the deals that were currently on. Few draught beers on tap including Guinness Restaurant food was decent enough Located at the motorway services which is convenient. Good big car park

Pillows were too hard. No bell on reception for attention. Sometimes stood waiting at reception with people through in the office who couldn’t see you standing there waiting for service. Sausages for breakfast weren’t good quality and always on the cold side. You need a code for the barrier to cross over the top of the M6. They give you a code but if you don’t know that before hand you could end up driving past the southbound off slip and driving a few miles further south only to have to take the next off slip, then cross the M6, rejoin it and drive a few miles back up to come off the north bound slip road.

I was surprised how nice this hotel was, when staying at a motorway services hotel you always have a little trepidation, we have stayed in ones before that make you swear off them. But this hotel is a massive exception to that! You can't hear the M6 too badly in the rooms, it's neat and clean. And the most amazing part was the price of the meals. We had 2 main meals for under £30. And when you take into account the prices normally charged in motorway services this was amazing. And to add on top of all of this they allow dogs to stay too, with plenty of space to walk them too, not just a tiny area. The staff there were fantastic too, the M6 was closed due to an accident that day, and they staff helped via the phone to guide us to the service road entrance and supplied the code to enter. I really cannot praise them enough.

To be honest there isn't much I can say I didn't like, as for the price and location it exceeded expectations

The lady on reception (we boked in on 12th August - she was on afternoon/evening shift) was SO helpful and kind - we had our dog with us which meant we couldn't dine in the restaurant but she ensured we had a table in the reception area and we were able to eat with our dog their! The food was of excellent quality and price - we were very impressed - the room was quiet. The breakfast choices were very good - and again we were able to dine in the reception area.

I suppose having a separate dining area for people with pets would be useful - as we were cluttering up reception a bit - but otherwise it was great.

It was lovely and warm, the room was nice, the carpets were nice, the curtains weren't 'cheap', they were of a nice material. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming which is always nice.

There was a dog in the room next door which barked occasionally, it didn't disturb my sleep but I still would prefer not to be placed next door to a dog, that makes me wonder if there was ever a dog on my bed, which I don't like the thought of. The other thing was that the bathroom fan was permanently on, (even though the lights were turned off) it did make a humming noise, which again didn't disturb my sleep but which I suspect would disturb a lighter sleeper. I forgot to mention this when leaving but it was room 201

The staff were very polite, helpful and welcoming. Food was great, menu had enough choice for the duration of stay. Also very reasonable prices.. location was on a motorway services but I never heard any noise whilst in my room, it was a very comfortable stress free stay at the Ramada. One thing I will say though, having stayed at various Ramada hotels around the country. The bathrooms are not very well thought out, when you take a shower water sprays all over the door and literally covers the floor. This is no reflection on the staff or the stay though as I would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Nothing really.. I was pleased overall

Apart from the external appearance of the hotel, this is a real travel gem. The rooms well appointed, nice proper dining room, and breakfast. I can’t imagine anything could remotely touch it at this price

Just a bit difficult to find: approach the “No Entry” signs on the left immediately at the end of the services off-ramp, and observe the rectangular sign (under the big red circle with the white bar) that says “except Tesla Chargers and Ramada Hotel access”. I did a couple of laps in the dark first

Excellent value for money, breakfast was an extra but this was of very good quality at a very reasonable cost. Our room was clean and big enough for a three night stay. The bed was very comfortable, extra pillows where in the wardrobe should you need them. Bathroom was a bit on the small side but who cares...it is a budget accommodation and it was only on rare occasions that we both needed to use the bathroom at the same time. Wardrobe had enough hangers & plenty of shelf space. Best of all you can go and enjoy a pint on the small bar area/reception. The only thing I would say is that I read somewhere that you can charge your car on our car chargers...they are Tesla Supercharger's in the car park, so you can only charge Teslas. A short trip across to the service station will let 'none' Tesla cars charge here. They have two Gridserve Chargers + the services has had a number of Applegreen Chargers installed with speeds upto 180kW to each connection, each Charger can pull 360kW split two ways. If you pay & go with your credit card then you would pay £0.77 per kW but if you download the Applegreen App then the charge is reduced to £0.72kW.

Small bathroom. I didn't see a lift so you might struggle if you are a wheelchair user.

First time staying since the hotel was upgraded - the difference is amazing with huge attention to detail in the changes. Everything looked so very modern and the staff we met were excellent. On our arrival the guy on reception couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and the girl in the restaurant is a real credit to your organisation so very friendly and organised and her food was really tasty too Definitely 5 stars from us

I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like the hotel and staff exceeding our expectations

Remarkably quiet.for its proximity to the motorway. As my purpose to visit family, friends, and former colleagues the location was fine and as the barriers were not in use for access to local roads it was ideal. Would probably not have been as good if barriers had been in operation .

Although because of the reason for my stay it would have been mainly unnecessary for me to use the Restaurant Due to the absence of any indication of menu or cost I was not encouraged to use this facility and on a couple of evenings I had evening meals in local venues.A mo,re proactive approach for the Restaurant would probably produce greater use

Lovely staff and very helpful. Its quiet and a great location for a good nights sleep.

Breakfast options are limited. The hotel is located near motorway services, and the general location is awkward when travelling back and forth due to there not being a bridge to connect the south and north carrageways so you will find yourself driving a few miles in the wrong direction to get here or if you need to travel South bound.
