Great location, very clean and stunning building! Cleaners and bar staff were incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. (Make sure to have one of their Pie meals!) The location is not too far from Chorley town centre, a 5 minute trip in a car or taxi. Very relaxing spot and was perfect for me and my partner as a stopping point to go about visiting other areas of Lancashire. Would highly recommend and will certainly stay again in the near future.

It didn't bother me as I had my car, but due to its location it might not be suitable for anybody not wanting to spend on taxis. It's not so far out you couldn't walk to surrounding areas but having own transport could make your stay here more convenient .

Easy to find. Nicely decorated, clean , staff friendly and helpful. Lady that showed us to the room was pleasant and informative . Free internet .Meal in the pub restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. Plenty of free parking. No hurry to get out the room in the morning and no one hurried us which was very helpful as we didn’t need to rush to leave.

Very noisy road outside the property so couldn’t keep the window open. Needed to use the fan all night as room very warm with window closed. With window shut the noise was very minimal. Bed was attractive but mattress was uncomfortable. Very lumpy. Room was quite tight for what was meant to be a deluxe king room. Foot touched the bathroom door when sitting on the end of the bed.

Clean and good sized. Room was good value. Easy access and no noise from the pub during our stay. We dined at the Chinese restaurant which had an early bird special on and the food was really lovely. Would definitely stay again as well position for quick Uber into Chorley or for walks in surrounding area. Coffees and teas provided.

Everything was great, only one very small issue. The television didn’t work, it was switched off at the wall as the remote wasn’t working and when switched on it was at top volume so we couldn’t have it on without deafening the whole place. We asked and were given new batteries for the remote at the attached pub but this didn’t resolve the issue. There is reference to this in an earlier review so I suspect it is an issue accommodation are aware of and haven’t resolved. No option for breakfast but this is clearly stated. Would just be a nice option!

Lovely decorated clean room, although the accommodation is separate to the pub it felt safe and secure, when travelling as a single woman. Free parking. Friendly staff on the phone and in the pub. There is a Chinese restaurant on the same site which was not mentioned in any of the write up's.

Breakfast is only at the weekends. Slight issue with the soundproofing I could hear the toilet flushing and the shower next door. Did not know where to post the key, in the morning when I left so just put through the letterbox of the pub.

I did not have breakfast as it was not available during the week which was the only negative to staying at the Dressers Arms. They did have recommendations in the room for local cafes but unfortunately as these don't open until 10am they were no good to us. There is a Harvester 10mins drive away which did a very good and reasonable priced breakfast starting at 9am. Food in the pub next door was delicious. Great service and would definitely return to accommodation and the pub if I was near to there again.

Lack of onsite breakfast during the week.

Excellent value for money. Nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable, plenty of toiletries and hot drink essentials provided. It was a pleasant area for a short walk.

There was no view as the window was opaque for privacy, there was a noisy fan just outside but double glazing was excellent for noise restriction. A good, quiet fan was provided in the room for ventilation. We found it adequate for an overnight stay and excellent value for the price.

Handily located: some distance from Central Manchester, where some of us were attending a concert, but very easy to reach and to find. Plenty of free parking. Staff were welcoming & competent; rooms, in an annexe, were beautiful: well appointed, comfortable, attractive, quiet & spotlessly clean. Everything (showers etc) all worked perfectly; breakfast pleasantly served, good value and very good. The place is clearly highly popular with locals and there seemed to be (though we only had breakfast) a very wide & varied food offer. Whole thing was very good value, particularly compared with prevailing prices in Manchester that weekend, with multiple coverts, football etc going on. Highly recommended.

Nothing at all.

Really vibrant pub but the rooms were in an adjacent building which was very pleasant. Very clean and spacious with a fabulous overhead shower. Amazing value for a Friday night in July. I had never been to Wheaton but was surprised to find the place had a lovely looking tea room opposite the beautiful clock in the centre.

It was next to a busy road (didn’t trouble me as I live on a main road) which visitors should be aware of.

We stayed for 5 nights while visiting family nearby, we didn't want to leave! The room was amazing, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in! Suzy is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble. The bar is lovely and staff very friendly, the food is lovely and very reasonable priced. We would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending it to anyone.

Very Welcoming and Superb Helpful Staff. A Very popular bustling pub. Excellent food and top manager makes you feel welcome even though very busy. Chilli with extra heat awesome. The accommodation was top notch, comfy bed, brilliant shower, clean, modern.

Not a place to chill out in ... as so busy (FRI/SAT). House Red Wine could be better ! That's not a criticism but a fact of their success.
