We like the location of the hotel and it had an outside pool.Rooms have been updated.Quiet night sleep.

Pool area was not manned,lots of children and adults had no regard for other people staying at hotel.Throwing balls ,jumping in,more like Butlins.There was a cheer leading competition,there where practicing in the water,saw a young girl doing cartwheel down corridor.We paid a lot of money to stay at the hotel and parents and children should be reminded/staff more vigilant,because we didn,t see anybody who was bothered about what was going on.

loved the view. The bar I enjoyed my stay. The room and view were great. The staff were lovely and I enjoyed a few drinks in the bar in the evening. The location was great. There is a cable car down to the beach as you are up the hill.

We stayed in the cottage rooms which were a little detached from the hotel. I have stayed twice and this has happened twice.They were lovely but if I had mobility issues this would have been issue. Just feel it fair to say contact them so it doesn’t effect your stay as the hotel itself is lovely.

very good food, very friendly staff, very clean rooms, exceptionally luxurious new bathroom. adequate and decent looking facilities. no issues except one major one.

The overall isolation/noise isolation between our room and the room above us was almost non existent, I knew the exact location of the people walking around above us because of the noise of the creaking floor, this was really difficult the endure. We could only fall asleep when they stopped walking up and down which was difficult with small children. They may have other rooms where this isn't a problem but for us this was nearly insufferable.

I loved how clean, well-kept the place was. Lovely sea view and very comfortable bed. The receptionist was very friendly and even left my partner a birthday gift, which was hugely appreciated.

The tv was the main issue, I'd say. I've been in hotels £80 a night with a smart tv with netflix, youtube, Disney+ etc. But the YouTube didn't work and no other Internet apps. The sound was dampened, which made it hard to hear, which is understandable, but I haven't had an issue with other hotels with noise. And there weren't many options with channels. I'd also recommend using different shampoos and conditioners, theirs made my hair very dry and hard to brush, which I never have an issue with. Pillows didn't agree with my neck, but I have very sensitive lymph nodes, so I didn't have a great night's sleep, but it was worth putting down if others had the same issue.

Room was spacious and clean, it had air conditioning, TV and a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee and mineral water which was replenished daily as were the towels in the bathroom which was also cleaned daily and had shower gel and shampoo provided. Hotel is situated on top of the cliff giving those who have a room with sea view excellent views of the Bournemouth coastline and the goats who live on the clifftop just outside the front of the hotel. Also loved the heated outdoor pool. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The restaurant was expensive which was to be expected but what I didn't like was they automatically add a 10% gratuity fee onto the bill which you can ask to have removed but they rely on the customer to be too embarrassed to ask for removal. Those who are well off probably wouldn't worry about this but for us this was a special holiday for our wedding anniversary and money for us is not plentiful so despite it being a lovely hotel we won't be able to stay at a marriott hotel again. Also on checkout after a 4 night stay I noticed we were charged a different rate for the room each night, strange!!!

staff were friendly & helpful. A young man in reception area entertained the children, & showed them where the pool & facilities were. Breakfast was excellent with a varied choice, & well presented. The hotel is well located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping & entertainments. The beach was a must for the children, just down from the hotel, a walk back up, but we did nt mind this. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds, newly refurbished, although there were'nt views from the family rooms.

parking can be an issue, there is plenty of parking but we stayed at the height of the season so could be tight, £12.00 daily parking fee. We booked 4 rooms, our room was at the end of the corridor, very quiet the first night, a large family booked in next door, as our room had an intercommunicating door with theirs the noise was awful. We were moved, & refunded the difference in tariff. As it was a special family celebration the disruption of packing & moving rooms, waiting for availability was a disappointment. However the staff were brilliant, & I thank them for their care.

Our room was nice and spacious, but my parents' room and my nan's room were both quite small. Especially my nan's room was tiny. Yet we had all paid the same amount for the same room style. We enjoyed the pool. It was a shame you couldn't buy alcoholic drinks at the pool bar. You could only buy soft drinks.

The parking was so expensive, and we hadn't even been warned that the parking would cost extra when we arrived. The room sizes were also very variable, even though we all paid the same amount. My nan's bedroom was tiny compared to ours. Also, the drinks at the bar were very expensive, and we were also charged an additional service charge per bar order.

My break away was very good. The hotel is lovely. Room and surroundings very nice. The hop pub italian Thai indian and Japanese to eat in. We chose Thai n Insisn very nice. I was disappointed to spend over 13 quid at the pool on an Aperol Spritz and soft drink and not have the vorrect glass. Presentation is key in a drink. The soda was flat and it was presented in a wine glass until I asked that it be changed. In the end I accepted the gin glass. It was flat n not very nice. Not enjoyable and left half the drink. I did complain to the front desk. I would have expected my money back but there was nothing. So I am disappointed 😞

Make sure glasses are stocked and don't use flat soft drink leftovers

Stunning sea view if you get room with it. Newly refurbished spacious bright airconditioned rooms, very clean, well decorated, enough handles. There was provided kettle, coffee, tea; ironing board with iron; hair dryer; safe; fridge with 2 complimentary water bottles. Receptionists- lovely and very helpful. The restaurant - beautifully decorated, spacious, with the various choice of number of seats, with comfortable chairs and sofas; with lovely space outside with umbrellas and wonderful sea view. Food absolutely -delicious! Actually, the portions could be a bit bigger( could be a double portion of potatoes, rice, chips…) The restaurant staff- amazing, very proffessional and absolutely adorable!!!

Late check in

Hotel was exceptional. Very clean and right by the pier! Large smart TV in your rooms, area to sit and eat. Large fridge for your own snacks etc. The lobby was spotless and all furniture was very comfy. Really pleased! I would stay here again without a doubt.

The parking can be difficult. It took us some driving around in circles until we found parking but if you can't find a sport at the hotel parking which is 12 pound a day there is another car park next to rhe Hotel but it does cost 48pound a day! So might be better to come earlier to secure your spot if you travel by car! The WiFi isn't actually free and does come at a cost. Apart from the above everything else from cleanliness, staff and location was spot on!
