The hotel is close to the beach, amusements, restaurants and other places. Breakfast is very good. Quiet place to stay with family.

There is usually no one at reception and guests may have to wait outside the hotel for long time to check in or to ask questions or request bath items. Maybe more staff is to be considered.in the hotel.

Very good value for money, Parking on site for only £5 or £10 for a van, Breakfast in the morning, Bed was old but comfortable, tea and coffee in the room. You get what you pay for and more.

None of this was a deal breaker for us, if we wanted more we would have picked somewhere more expensive but things to bare in mind. Hot water is only on for a set time in the morning and evening so you can't take a shower whenever you feel like it. You'll find yourself double parked in the summer so you might not be able to get your car in and out when you need it. The door to our bathroom didn't close, needs to be sanded down so it can shut properly.

The staff on Saturday morning for Breakfast were very happy smiling very talkative and Great service couldn't fault any thing at all 5 out of 5 😃👌

Sunday morning staff, we were the first down in the morning so very quiet we order 3 full breakfasts, two poached eggs on 2 pieces of toast (Only 1 egg on toast both) we only had 1 pot of coffee shared between 5 and 1 pot of tea, and No toast served, Time we were was served are food it got very busy and we tried to ask for toast and more coffee but the young girl was very busy. 3 out of 5 😔

Check in was quick and easy, the room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable, the tv remote didn't work very well, new batteries maybe? the shower was very good and breakfast in the morning was excellent

The bathroom is very nice but would benefit from having a shelf or something to put clothes on whilst in the shower or toiletries and a toilet roll holder ,not just left on top of the toilet

Stayed on the 15th Dec.. Great location, a short walk to town centre. Friendly lovely staff. Our room was no 19, was a very warm and clean room, a comfortable bed, loads of free coffee,tea, hot chocolate and little pots of milk in our room.. Breakfast was from 9am to 10pm.. lovely cooked breakfast, and especially on hot plates, which I love.. a sigh of a good chef.. thank-you.. a great getaway to see Bournemouth Christmas Market..

Some glasses would be nice.. different drinking wine and lemonade out of a cup..lol.. Hotel just needs some TLC..

Helpful, approachable, very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Quiet room. Thing is, I went out of season, which is not really indicative of the hurly-burly of high-season Bournemouth. Nevertheless, I can only report on how it was at the time.

Not a great problem, but the bed was a bit soft with the noisy bed-springs....no, don't go there, I am a seventy-year-old pensioner!

I would recommend this hotel and we enjoyed our stay here. Mattresses were great and the breakfast was amazing. Fruit juice, cereals, tea/coffee, toast, jam, marmalade, egg, bacon, hash browns, toma to and baked beans - great value! The waitress who served us was efficient and cheerful - please pass on our thanks. We would stay here again - the hotel had a nice living room as well as an outdoor space for guests to sit at. The location is brilliant - so close to restaurants, the town centre, the cinema, the gardens and the beach.

It was slightly disappointing that although we booked a room for four with four individual beds, we got a room with one double and bunk beds. Overall this didn’t impact our stay, though. We liked the room but it was a bit disconcerting that the toilet had a huge window without curtains next to and level with the toilet - so we had to drape a towel across the window to ensure we didn’t flash the neighbouring houses / street! Maybe this is why the light didn’t work in the bathroom! I would suggest the hotel puts up a curtain or something on the glass. However, as I said before, this did not prevent us from enjoying our stay at the Mount Stuart but is a suggestion for the management.

My sister and me have just had a lovely 2 night stay at The Mount Stuart hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had comfy beds. Great location as near to restaurants and beach.

Small thing was that there wasn't plug for bathroom sink and bedside light didn't work but other than those things no complaints.
